Monday 8/31/26 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:   James is an angel on earth dealing with the Genius malfunction and filmbot, which ultimately was our ethernet. Always something right around doors, but thankfully the cool-headed master took care of it and we were back in business without major issues. I only had to hand write one ticket.-LB Ian started a deep clean of the liquor room shelves. Looking nice ahead of menu change. I donated some spices that we don't need to the kitchen and we are organizing for the fall menu transition. I got some stuff done for the Trees cheaters as well.-LB Lauren "The Toolwoman" Billings was on the scene today, getting all sorts of things ship shape for the upcoming season. We tag-teamed some of the shelves in the liquor room and it's going to be great to go into the fall with a tidy, well organized space - can't wait to get the new Nitrogen unit installed. Lauren and I spoke in-depth about me taking on the ordering of soda/lime juice/napkins and straws wh...

Sunday O8.3O.2O26 Ian & Lauren

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up. Chill end of August Sunday vibes to start. - IP I put gold nail polish on the non-carbonated kegs today. I hope it will not chip off. If you can point this out to Matthew on his batch shift. I will make sure Tevon sees it tomorrow. I told Tevon today and he said he goes mainly by the different color gasket, I think they are black versus white on the others.-LB Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Nat in Trees and Greg in Lobby. - IP I pushed Duan and Sam both back to 4p, as afternoon sales are totally manageable for Nat, Greg and Tevon. Openers can get ready to skedaddle right when they walk in the door. - IP Possible slight change in the swiftness of exits, as Jeshua has called out sick tonight. After no luck seeing if any not scheduled bartender wanted to pick up the shift, I pushed Duan back to 5p to close Trees, and Tevon can hang until the crunch of the dinner round is over. While Sam handles the Lobby solo. I checked in with ...

Saturday 08.29.26 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication: We had Scott the owner of Alternate Endings stop by today. He is super excited to have two beers going up on tap here.  I bought him a bunch of snacks in the theater and two Odyssey spritz at the bar since that is what he was seeing.  He has been super supportive in the past sending over samples so I felt giving him some hospitality was in order. -LB So the last O-ren keg (seems to have been IP) has the wrong top on that type of keg. The two different cocktail kegs (the ones that don't take carbonation) have different tops.  They HAVE to have these tops or they won't seal correctly when gas is applied.  I had marked these tops with paint. Over time the paint came off. I took the top off of the empty O-ren keg and put it on the full O-ren keg. Please familiarize yourself with the different looks of these tops. I found the other one on the newly made OF keg. So I just rinsed and swapped the Oren keg for this one. It is only an issue when they all...

Friday 8.28.26 / Jenn, Gus & Ariel / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: Smooth open. Nothing of note. Wyatt, Jeremy and I opened with ease.  I did not get the menu update email from Conrad. I noticed that the Barba Roja beer is still on the Tree's menu's. Did not find it the biggest deal since it's easier for bar to tell guests we're 86'd things but just wanted to make y'all aware. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Matthew did a batch shift, Tevon opened. Smooth. -We cut Knibbs I think it was a good move to cut a Bartender today. Service was super smooth and had no hiccups. Tevon and Matthew had longer shifts than usual but they were less than 9 hour shifts. - AB2 FOH Staff Observations: I been noticing recently that Servers come to the bar for change and simply state "can I have change?" My gripe with this is when we give them change and then they ask for more change. I want them to tell us the change they need and not make us think for em'. Sometimes this makes bartenders go back and forth and af...

Thursday 8.27.26 Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Pretty chill open. James, Jeremy and I opened without incident. A little busier in the theaters and at Trees this evening, with the Escape from LA crowd showing up for some pre-screening bevvies. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Danny and Gabrielle opened. Danny helped me moving some stuff- awesome guy. -GS Had Danny come up to Trees during the dinner round and got Gabrielle out of here once the second round had settled down and both bars had gotten a restock.  Sam held down lobby solo for the majority of the night with very few calls, which is always great to see.  Danny is also great with guests and at the service pass, and he stuck around until the third round big theater seatings were sat.  Matthew moves faster than the speed of light when it comes to pre-closing and glassware restocking, and left himself nice and prepped for his open tomorrow. JH Prep List:  Made a big Simple Syrup for Matthew's batch shift tomorrow, and caught us u...

Wednesday 8/26/26 Ian/Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Pretty mellow night, with theaters selling well across the building but not quite selling out the larger theaters.  Trees developed a nice little crowd over the course of the evening, but most folks were gone once we got to eleven. JH Customer Comments:  Got a complaint about bloody Mary from Theater 3. Checked it out at lobby bar. Tasted so delicious to me I had it on the rocks and it made me so happy. So they are obviously just complainers, since they also complained about stale nuts etc. I told Cailtin I would be happy to stop by at the end of the movie to speak with the guests if they still had a complaint but as far as a product freshness it was still very good.-LB BAR Staff Observations: Had Sam swing up to Trees for a bit of the second round, and then he got out of here around 7:00pm.  Patrick held down lobby solo, and Matthew gave Gabrielle a headstart on her pre-close after sticking around through the third round Th2 service push. JH...

Tuesday 8/25/26 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:  Excellent fall menu tasting today. Excited to refresh the vibes in one month.-LB We had some trouble with the gansett and Kolsch drafts today. Ian was in the walk-in, I went to assist. Noticed that the "pumps" gauge was in the off position. Turned it on and it felt like that helped. I assume that this is some mechanism that helps pump the beer and cocktails through the lines. Things are not going the normal way lately when it comes to draft. -LB I think that did it. Everything worked as it usually does for the rest of the night after Lauren made the above adjustment - even the keg of 'Gansett that was giving Ariel and I issues started pouring normally when I tried it. "Crash" had a great turnout and kept the place busy in place of Trivia. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Tevon and Lydia Opened, Greg and Patrick closed. Got Tevon outta here around 8p and Lydia stuck around to help Greg with the bar crowd when "Crash" let out. - IP F...

Monday 8/24/26 Lauren/Gus/Ian

Manager Communication:  I put away the extra rack and a half of coupes back into the box in the cabinet from Film feast that were on the dollies by Trees.  One of the screws Juan mounted to hang dollies on has become defunct from use.-LB Put in an order for more Green gobbler for fruit flies on Amazon. I bleached and put the other gobbler stuff in bar prep today as well to try and combat our house fly issue. -LB Turned into a busy evening with the Drag show and lots of softball teams enjoying our wares at Trees. Greg and Lydia handled it easily. Patrick had a a couple of sold out double-whammies in the lobby, and also crushed it. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Seamless open from both openers. Tevon and Greg worked around Gus and I when we were finalizing some recipes for fall menu like complete pros. -LB Making sure to have all items that can crowd/cause small spaces in the bar area washed and spread out to dry, with an air-mover keeping the airflow going over the potential frui...

Sunday 08.23.2026 Ian/Jenn

Manager Communication: Opened with Gil. Definitely the second to last Sunday in August type ticket sales to start the day - change of pace from the big Spidyssey weekends. Lovely weather outside with a chance of showers briefly - will hopefully bring some people in from the park. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Nat opening Trees, Greg opening Lobby. - IP.  Pretty smooth sailing through the dinner round.  Everyone grabbed family meal and got breaks, and Danny stuck around for both bars to get a post-dinner restock in.  The last round was pretty mellow saleswise, so both bars had ample time to get started on a deep clean pre-close to end the weekend.  Jeshua got out of here shortly after I rerouted lobby, and both Duan + Tevon closed each bar without issue. JH Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Combating fruit flies - Natasha mentioned seeing a concerning amount upon opening this morning. Let's communicate to bar staff that they need to be extra fastidious nearing the end of ...

Saturday 08.22.2026 Ian & AB2

Manager Communication: Opened up with Wyatt. Bar was beautifully set from last night. Full staff, ready to rock. Got the cat coloring books stacked up at the box office for CatVideoFest guests. - IP Today was pretty slow for the most part, compared to the peak of Spider-Man season. I do not think we need 7 bartenders on a Saturday. We would have been cruising without one today. Maybe once we are crazy busy again like for DUNESDAY (12.18) we can go back to it but I do not think we will need 7 for a bit. - AB2 We brought out the cans of High Life today. I made sure everyone knew that this was temporary but y'all will probably get asked a lot just an FYI. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Matt and Sam opened up to a blessedly chill first round. Natasha let me know around 11:30 that she was likely to be late. She followed up at 12:15 that her ETA was now 12:55. As of writing this at 1:10, she has yet to arrive. As her scheduled in-time was 12:30, a written warning is necessitated. - IP N...

Friday 08.21.26 Jenn/Ariel

Customer Comments: For the last round in TH5 (End of Oak street) we got a walkie call from Siete to kick out a couple guests. Guests complained that this couple had been vaping, jacking off, and doing all types of nasty with one another. Dwight found the couple (They were at 5303) and asked them to leave. Wyatt and I met them at the door and told them it was time to leave. I walked them to the lobby and closed out their tab. A little after, one of the couples that complained, asked to be refunded so I helped them out at Filmbot, gave them a couple of passes, and gave them a round at Tree's because they hung out at the bar afterwards. Wyatt spoke with the other couple that was on the other side. More on that in the FOH blog. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Homies killed it tonight. Duan and Natasha rocked out Tree's with no issues. Gabrielle killed Lobby solo. I got Matthew out early and Tevon after everything settled down and everyone was well stocked and in a good place. - AB2 H...

Thursday 8/20/2026 Ian/Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication: Got in and got the Classified Colada chamber all cleaned and reset to Frozen Coke. Did a thorough reset of the mezzanine this morning to make sure there was nothing that needed major attention before the event tonight (there wasn't). I was able to juice a whole case of naked GF and threw together another keg of GF Soda that will be charged by 5:45 tonight. Gus and I have everything squared away for the party and we'll be ready to rock later this evening! - IP Customer Comments: Had a guest come to lobby after watching the 5:15pm Odyssey screening in Th 4 concerned that we had shown a digital print instead of the 35mm scheduled.  She noted some issues with certain shots were it appeared portions of the screen were pixelated.  She wasn't overly upset, moreso wanting to confirm whether or not her screening had been 35mm.  I reached out to projection to confirm and mentioned the issue, to which Jack said she may have seen some graininess, but that he...

Wednesday 8/19/26 Ian/Lauren/Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication: Pretty easygoing night.  Film Feast folks rocked the first floor.  The third round was pretty sleepy in the big theaters, but a lot of the smaller ones filled up.  Odyssey + Spider-Man still bringing in the people. JH BAR Staff Observations: Trees got a nice crowd right as the second round was letting out and the third round going in, but nothing that ever got hectic.  Gabrielle, Matthew, + Sam all took turns in the service well and were pushing out tickets no problem.  Jeshua was deputized for Film Feast, and made quick work of closing lobby once he was routed. JH Prep List: Ian made the drinks for tomorrow, and was able to knock out some Arbol Tequila + Lemonade + Simple Syrup before he got out of here. JH I cleaned the GF Soda + OF kegs.  They are chilling in the walk-in. JH Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Union, Skurnik, Southern-LB US foods coming Friday-LB Baldor placed for Saturday: lemons 3&3 Saratoga, guava puree, ...

Tuesday 8/18/26 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Good bar meeting today. Excited about menu change. Nights continue to be busy at Trees - great stuff! - IP BAR Staff Observations: Trivia team was excellent tonight. We were slammed and they made it look easy. Greg had a busy night in lobby too, and he cruised through it no problemo. - IP Special Events? Trivia was packed. Team did great. Got the old tables stacked back up in the bar storage closet and the hi-tops put back in the center of the space for Thursday's event, as requested. - IP Top Gun FF is tomorrow - the glassware is ready to go and stacked up by the lobby bar. - IP 86ed / counts on items: Wormhole B'Fast - 71 - IP Prep List:   oleo strained. - LB Shooting to get the growing mountain of naked grapefruits juiced tomorrow. Also going to try to hone in on a new gin draught cocktail as a possibility for the menu change. - IP Pay Outs: 1250 - Staff Loan - $300 - IP Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  US foods.-LB Baldor coming tomorrow-LB Maintenan...

Monday 08.17.26 Jenn/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Big softball presence tonight at Trees Lounge.-LB Trees was slammed from 7-10. Softball and "Blind Fury" crowd ordered a ton of food. The runner team did a good job for the most part - could be a little more careful with mixing up duplicate food items - when trees gets a lot of one-off burgers and chicken sandwiches they will occasionally get dropped off to the wrong flag number, because that guest says "oh yes, I ordered a burger too!" or something like that - just a little more discernment with the flag numbers would be awesome. - IP BAR Staff Observations:  On my way out at 9:15 Ian was in the service well and asked Thursdae and another server to tray up, but he had lots of tickets out, I offered to help. Took off my bad.  4/6 was popping off as it was well sold. I got behind the bar to help with service as Greg was busy.  The service well below the main taps was COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN AT 9pm. I asked Greg if he did it, he said Lydia did, but...

Sunday 8.16.26 / Ariel & Lauren / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: Tank guy came in today. He had 2 tanks and took our 2 empties. I tried to get as many as I could but he only had 2 on the truck. - AB2 I organized up the walk-in to have everything nice and smooth. - AB I learned today that the kitchen likes 6 items at a time for food on a tab/ticket. Should we just have Bartenders ring things in 6 at a time and send it and then add the rest and send it? This rarely ever happens but just for when it does... - AB2 I totally didn't mention the amazing ice cream social put on yesterday afternoon by Jess & Emma for staff. It was a lovely summer surprise that everyone enjoyed. Thanks so much, it definitely was a welcome pick me up.-LB Sam learned the real life lesson of not selling tickets to babies. We had a family in Theater 1 for the 9:05pm. Jared spoke with them and they bought the tickets at the box office. Sam was a little overwhelmed between 7 and theater 3/5 tickets and then ticket sales so he did not clock the young c...

Saturday 8/15/26 Lauren

Manager Communication: I know that yesterday was crazy but if you read the blogs I note when I have Baldor coming, I had lemons and orange juice coming today. We now have 3 boxes of lemons and 5 extra boxes of orange juice. I don't know who placed the extra orders, but please look at the orders that are scheduled.  Also, don't swipe the kitchens orders, we did not have Baldor yesterday and someone grabbed coconut milk, it may have been Esther, I gave them ours that came today. -LB The glass boots are trophies for VOLO, so the one that broke that is now in the liquor room? I tossed it and let them know. -LB Smooth day. Slow start, Tony definitely has a good crowd. Went over closing plan with Wyatt and the team.  Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Sam misread his in time as 3 pm, while it worked out with business levels. He will get a write up for being an hour late.-LB FOH Staff Observations: Hiring/Training: Sick Leave/ Call outs: Special Events? Staff Meet...

Friday 08.14.26 Gus/Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication: Wow tonight was a DOOZY - but oh man, this team, from top to bottom, is awesome. There was a SNAFU with the Nitrogen tank count, and we thought we had a full backup when that was not the case, and around 7p the products on the draught lines (primarily the beers) began to have issues moving through the line, due to lack of Nitrogen. Gus and I scrambled to find a solution - after about an hour of uncertainty (and me pouring roughly 6qt of each kegged cocktail into cambros and store'n'pours for the bars in case the cocktail lines stopped working), we were saved by the angels at Threes Brewing who offered us a tank of Nitrogen if we could come pick it up. It was around 8:30p at this point, and since Gus is still medically barred from lifting more than ten pounds, he offered to swing back to Nitehawk, jump in as Bar MOD, while I grabbed my car and popped over to Threes Brewing (with the assistance of absolute hero, Vlad) to transport the tank back. By 9:30 we...

Thursday 8/13/2026 Gus/Ian/Jenn

Manager Communication: Got the orders all stashed away and was able to get to the Lobby frozen machines/bubbler. There was an extra menu from theater 2 that found its way to the office last night - pretty sure it was liberated from the lobby by a guest a while ago. I've put it back at the lobby bar, in case anyone is looking for it. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Gab and Danny opening. Uncharacteristically slow afternoon - but the later shows are steadily growing. - IP  Back to busy third rounds in the big theaters, so Gabrielle hung around Trees until the Th2 Camp Miasma had gotten through its initial service push.  Danny helped Trees get through the second round, and covered Greg for a restock and a break before getting out of here.  Greg was solo in lobby and closed without issue, and Matthew restocked a bunch of glassware at Trees before getting out of here in preparation for his opening shift tomorrow. JH Staff Meeting Agenda notes: The ice well for lobby is downsta...

Wednesday 8/12/2026 Ian/Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication: Was able to get the Trees machines cleaned thoroughly this morning, but had beer deliveries etc. to coordinate (and some odds and ends to tend to) so I will get to the lobby machines tomorrow morning first thing when I get in. Speaking of deliveries - the elevator repair guys got things back up and running right in the nick of time and there were no issues with portage. - IP The Coke service ticket got closed last night when they called me back. They are sending us a replacement kit for the lobby bar gun piece that broke off. I also asked them to put in a swag request with the sales department since we sell so much Diet Coke. -LB Customer Comments:  A gentleman came down to Trees when I was doing some R&D and had complained it had been over 30 minutes since he got his drink and popcorn. I asked his seat number, he didn't know it, but said he was in the last row in theater 4. So I went up there. Bayly had that theater. I said you have someone waiting for ...

Tuesday 8/11/26 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:   Gus is back and answering the phone lines.-LB Had a very constructive meeting about Fall menu change.  Gus called NuCo. I submitted a ticket on Coke service    39266501  for our lobby bar gun that has a cracked coupler and tube broken. -LB Got to almost every outstanding thing for tomorrow, but have yet to think of a possible back-up name for the End of Oak Street drink - will figure it out tomorrow. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Bar was hoppin. Lydia and Darius rocked it out - Lydia cranked out the service tickets and Darius did his charming thing behind the bar. The team is really stepping up all across the board, and Trees lounge is busy every single night. Woohoo! - IP Hiring/Training: Just a general shout out to all the new servers who really seem to be fitting right in and making this very busy few weeks as seamless as possible. - IP 86ed / counts on items:  Just reminder no more red ale at all.-LB Prep List:  blonde in ...

Monday 8/10/26 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:  Well this morning started out with bartending the Theater 1 rush and then sprinting to help break up the fight in the theater. Manic Monday.-LB The rain packed Trees with soaking wet softball players for the majority of the evening. The theaters grew steadily throughout the night and wow, yeah - another crazy Monday. - IP Lauren got the COGS sheet done for the "End of Oak Street" drink special, and I made the build sheet. It's in the first run specials folder in the drive, I also printed out a copy and left it on the desk in the office. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Tevon, Greg and Lydia got absolutely ambushed by all of the local softball teams simultaneously while we still had very busy drink rushes, and as per usual, they crushed. Lydia stuck it out to help Greg through the last theater pushes and then after Trees cleared out it was a pretty steady close. - IP FOH Staff Observations: The runner team absolutely killed it tonight. We were surpris...

Sunday 8/9/26 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: Busy open with Wyatt. Catvideo Fest and Spiderman both sold out to start the day, further being complicated by a callout. The frozen machines were accidentally turned back to cold at some point during the open, so we had a brief moment where we had to hold service on Firewalks, but they froze up shortly thereafter and began to behave themselves. - IP Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Greg and Danny opened - Tevon came in at 10:30. If Sam had let me know he was too ill to work a half an hour earlier, I could've pushed Tevon back to accomodate the later dearth of bartenders - but Sam texted me about five minutes before Tevon walked in the door. I've been making sure to provide ample opportunities for breaks to keep the staff we do have here as fresh as possible for the dinner rounds. Fortunately, the evening looks as though it's peak will be within the dinner time window which shouldn't over-work anyone too much. - IP Jeshua and Tevon ar...

Saturday 08.08.26 Jenn

Manager Communication:  Busy first round in the big theaters, but after the second round began in Th2 we had a decent lull to make sure bars were prepped heavy and whoever wanted a break got one.   The timing between Th1/2 seatings was fairly spread out throughout the day, so the service pass at Trees never got backed up and we had a good flow of glassware restocking throughout the day.   Seven bartenders is really the ideal number of bartenders on a Saturday, so we never missed a beat.  BAR Staff Observations: Greg, Matthew, + Natasha were well into the first round when I got in, and the day passed by fairly quickly.  I cut Matthew shortly after Sam got in, and then got Greg out of here once Lydia arrived.  Natasha floated down to lobby and provided coverage for Jeshua to grab family meal and then take a break, and then she was out of here. Evening crew at Trees were great tonight, even with a very busy schedule.  Sam took the lead on servi...

Friday 08.07.26 Jenn/Ariel

Manager Communication: We are low on peelers for the bar. I ordered some from Amazon that should be coming in on Sunday. It's labeled under my name and we can have this as a little backup stash when the others break. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: The Aloha Friday team killed it today as always. Peeps was gangsta and shoutout to all of them for making my shift so much smoother. - AB2 Hiring/Training: Michael was not a fan of PJ for day 5. More info in FOH Blog - AB2 Prep List:  Looking pretty set going into another Spidey weekend. JH I did a 4x of Iced Tea Concentrate. We may need Simple Syrup tomorrow. I was unable to get to it tonight. - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Baldor + Empire + Skurnik + Union arrived. JH Maintenance:  Updated Ariel and other managers about the nitrogen tank situation, so that everyone knows that it will just be a momentary disruption when we need to attach the new tank. JH I attached the new tank. - AB2 Mobilebytes Issues:  Tevon acciden...

Thursday 8/6/2026 Ian/Jenn

Manager Communication: Got in a little early to escort the NuCo man through to the equipment - notes on that below in the maintenance section. Got a big baldor order put away after NuCo left, and also reorganized the walk-in and played keg Jenga. The walk-in looks lovely now. I also cleaned the machines and checked out the Fro-Co that was over-freezing - unsure why it is doing this, but it continues to act up. Switching between cold and slush intermittently is the only short term fix I can think of at the moment - the bar team is aware, and hopefully when Spidermania calms down I can give it a proper look-see.  After all that, Becca and I opened up - first round was relatively mellow. - IP The second round was busy at both bars, but the screenings were staggered in a way that each bar was busy when the other was more mellow, which made for a very smooth service.  Spider-Man , The Odyssey , + The Invite continue to sell out their last round screenings. JH BAR Staff Observatio...

Wednesday 8/5/26 Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Really great tasting today with only a few of our best bartenders in attendance, but we hashed out some directions we want to go in. Gus showed up to give his best advice, nice lovely surprise. Things are coming together nicely. -LB Busy, busy throughout the building for the dinner round, with the exception of Th1.  Having a pretty mellow second and third round in Th1 tonight definitely made the service pass a little bit easier to navigate.  Trees was pretty bopping all evening, up until about ten or so.   The Odyssey still selling out those small theaters, so those seatings can definitely sneak up on the service pass. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Matthew Soler is a bartending God. -LB  Jeshua was all set at lobby bar once he got a restock in, so I had Sam float up to Trees to help Gabrielle + Matthew.  Was able to get Matthew off the floor and back to the liquor room to finish up the rest of the bar prep list, and Sam stuc...

Tuesday 8/4/26 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: So unfortunately NuCo did not make it to us today. I spoke to Gus today. He is doing well, he said they came by last Tuesday and messed with our nitrogen unit.  Then the issue happened on Wednesday with our drafts all going flat. So they switched to the back up tank, which they thought was CO2.  I harassed them every few hours for a new eta. I told them I wanted to be here when they arrived tomorrow so they will come tomorrow between 12-2.  I hope the gas level holds us til tomorrow.-LB  Everything held up fine for tonight's service. Hopefully NuCo will show up tomorrow and get everything hunky dory. Another night of deft management from the whole team. Jared's anticipation and handling of the A/C outage in theater 5 was beautifully executed by Christine and Becca while we were absolutely weeded at Trees lounge with a packed Trivia and sold out 1's and 2's all night. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Bar team still functioning at a pace and skill le...

Monday 8/3/26 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: I spoke with NuCo, it seems we may have a Nitrogen problem and not a CO2 problem as the back up tank we switched over to is a Nitrogen tank and not a CO2 tank. They will be sending a tech out to help figure this out. The readings are not correct on the box so it seems like the leak could be between the tank and the mix box. It did seem like we needed CO2 anyway as they delivered 70 lbs more than expected, but hopefully we can get to the bottom of this and I will surely ask them more questions than they prefer to answer.-LB We are out of menus at Lobby bar, we were down to 1 and now we have zero. I feel like we need to attach it to a 2 by 4 like a key for a coffee shop bathroom. Anyway, I don't think I will have time to get to this if anyone has the bandwidth to track down some empty menus and print/stuff for Lobby bar. -LB It was an extraordinarily busy Monday night at Trees lounge. Theaters were almost totally sold out, and the Darkroom Series and screening ...

Sunday 8/2/2026 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened. Preparing for another big day, as our two prize stallions continue to totally pack the building. Got a good team on today - we should be ready for action. - IP I broke out two cases of rocks glasses and 10 new trays. Trays have been in short supply with all of these sold out theaters.-LB So it has been a night of challenges. I think that everyone that worked this weekend is a little exhausted in many senses. The sold out Theater 2 at 10:05pm on a Sunday night really was icing on the cake.  Bar team manages pretty seamlessly in these situations but Jeshua needed Duan to stick around late to help restock and help close. Solidly bartending through 10:45pm on a Sunday is irregular. So he is quite behind on his close. Lobby bar had a pipe break off under the bar and this time it was not Darius' fault there was water all over the floor, but man was he quick to get that shit off the floor. -LB Michael was a huge help and put together the new sod...

Saturday 8/1/26 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:   In the rare occasion we run out of CO2, we should add that stuff to the standards guide. As I am just a little unsure putting it back together.-LB NuCo came and refilled out main tank, we do need to reach out and talk to them about getting a full back up tank. I will also try to fill out the protocol for the SOP manual next week since there is nothing in there for this very rare situation.-LB Just slam city all night. Everyone was turnin' and burnin'. Pre-bussing was on point. Servers never let any drinks back up for any of the sold out shows. Everyone stepped up to the business levels. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Natasha and Danny make quick work of back to back busy theaters. Like a light breeze blowing through.-LB Jeshua was over 30 minutes late for his shift. I will be issuing his write up tomorrow. For the record, I think Natasha was just about 30 minutes late for her shifts as well. She was not clocked in at 9:30. When I went down to drop the ban...
