Manager Communication: 
Busy first round in the big theaters, but after the second round began in Th2 we had a decent lull to make sure bars were prepped heavy and whoever wanted a break got one.  

The timing between Th1/2 seatings was fairly spread out throughout the day, so the service pass at Trees never got backed up and we had a good flow of glassware restocking throughout the day.  

Seven bartenders is really the ideal number of bartenders on a Saturday, so we never missed a beat. 

BAR Staff Observations:
Greg, Matthew, + Natasha were well into the first round when I got in, and the day passed by fairly quickly.  I cut Matthew shortly after Sam got in, and then got Greg out of here once Lydia arrived.  Natasha floated down to lobby and provided coverage for Jeshua to grab family meal and then take a break, and then she was out of here.

Evening crew at Trees were great tonight, even with a very busy schedule.  Sam took the lead on service for the first bit, and then Lydia swapped in when Sam was feeling unwell and needed to step off the floor for a moment.  

I'm rarely here Saturday nights, so took a step back to see how the Saturday line up took care of service, and it honestly went very smoothly.  I did not need to call a single ticket during any of the rushes, and just trayed up drinks as they hit the pass and grabbed ice once or twice.  Sam, in particular, was super on top of restocking glassware, which is always great to see.  Overall, just a dynamite team at both bars tonight.

Gabrielle is going to stick around until the last Th1 seating gets past its initial service push, and then Sam is going to stay through last call in theaters.  Floor managers know the plan for the rest of the evening, and Jeshua + Lydia know to reach out to them should they need any assistance.

Sick Leave/ Call outs: 
Lauren called out last night, so I am working a midshift today to get both bars through the bulk of the busier load-ins.  7Shifts has been updated. 

86ed / counts on items: 
86'd Cap'n Crunk, so we will need to make more before our next ST&B (08.19).  Other ST&B batches should be fine though. 

Prep List: 
I made a batch of the Odyssey spritz + a Bloody Mary (using the last Concentrate) + an Old Fashioned keg.  
Princess Peach kicked just as I was walking out the door, so the keg needs to be cleaned (it’s chilling in the walk-in). 

There was a sneaky Simple Syrup hiding behind the middle door of the liquor room lowboy, so we should be set through the weekend. 

I was able to restock the wine shelves in the walk in, so we should be well set for tomorrow. 

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
US Foods (water bottles for an event Tuesday, 08.11) arrived. They are in the liquor room, but should be moved into the walk-in Monday night so they can chill.

Manager Communication: Solid Open Lots of forward motion toward menu change and such. Looking good.  If it is at ALL possible to have it say THEATER 1 and THEATER 2 at the top of the ticket the way it does on the kitchen tickets that would be extremely helpful. This is a service issue at TREES for sure during busy times. It will lead to mistakes.  There are also lots of handhelds still printing multiples ie. 2 lemonades vs lemonade lemonade. It seems across the building and across menu. So I think a fine eye to just make sure that is all worked out or things may get missed. The non-consistent nature of it, will in fact lead to mistakes.  The handhelds at Trees are also difficult to use without any color differentiation in the BAR COCKTAILS CATEGORY. If you could take the notes from the people doing the serving it would be super helpful for us. We are a little older and we are using tiny little machines that slow us down. Saturday 10.17.26

Manager Communication: Saturday mornings. Classic. Rebecca & I rocked it out -G It got really cold tonight in the mid-40s. I turned on the entry way heaters because Christine asked me to since Jeshua was cold. The exit doors were fine, did not smell, but the entryway doors were very rank so I turned them off. Probably a vacuum would be enough. But smelled like a hairdryer full of dead pine needles. I broke out the space heaters for lobby bar.-LB The spotify iPad at Trees is not connected to the internet now, if that could be addressed. Only downloaded playlists are working-LB Customer Comments: Had a bday party for a 1 year old. Matthew handled like a champ. There were a lot of them. Filled the place up early- was great. Manager Communication: Battening down the hatches for the Nathan Fielder Doc. Not ideal to be down a bartender, but if you're going to have three bodies at Trees, the ones you want are Tevon, Matthew and Natasha. Weather is also gross today, so we can expect the smaller theaters to grow. Gonna be a busy one. - IP Holy cow the drink rushes for back to back sold out 1/2 showings really just go on and on and on... The 1/2 rush for the dinner round lasted 90+ minutes - non-stop tickets the whole time. Bar team was INCREDIBLE. Ariel jumped right into service and helped knockout the last half hour or so of the rush - absolutely clutch. - IP We was nice and poppin' homies. The You Can See Everything doc has people drinking nonstop... which is fresh.
