Manager Communication:
Wow tonight was a DOOZY - but oh man, this team, from top to bottom, is awesome. There was a SNAFU with the Nitrogen tank count, and we thought we had a full backup when that was not the case, and around 7p the products on the draught lines (primarily the beers) began to have issues moving through the line, due to lack of Nitrogen. Gus and I scrambled to find a solution - after about an hour of uncertainty (and me pouring roughly 6qt of each kegged cocktail into cambros and store'n'pours for the bars in case the cocktail lines stopped working), we were saved by the angels at Threes Brewing who offered us a tank of Nitrogen if we could come pick it up. It was around 8:30p at this point, and since Gus is still medically barred from lifting more than ten pounds, he offered to swing back to Nitehawk, jump in as Bar MOD, while I grabbed my car and popped over to Threes Brewing (with the assistance of absolute hero, Vlad) to transport the tank back. By 9:30 we had a fresh tank of Nitrogen hooked back up and everything was flowing like normal. All in all, we only had to 86 the draught beers for a little under two hours, and none of the wines or cocktails were ever adversely affected enough to 86 them.
The only things to note for tomorrow: There are 8qt cambros filled with cocktails from the back-up kegs in the walk-in. They can either be poured back into the kegs, or used with their store'n'pours. Also, the nitrogen tank will need to be flipped back to run in the morning. There is a small silver knob on the tubing to the right side (attached to the tank) - just flip that parallel to the tubing and it's flowing. - IP

BAR Staff Observations:
Very lucky to have the staff we do. Matthew Soler worked an insanely long shift to accommodate Natasha's absence. Tevon also pulled a long one. Duan and Gab were magnificent closers tonight. Everyone was wonderfully positive and kept the vibes good during what could've been a real stress nightmare - but these guys just understood the assignment and made the best of the situation. Gus was also massively clutch tonight in getting the hookup from Threes and offering to come back in to manage the bar while I was fetching the Nitrogen. Even when we're a man down and we literally run out of gas, this team will not be stopped. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Similar note for the whole FOH staff. I let everyone know about the impending situation, and the possibility that we would have to 86 the draught options, and there was no panic, no negativity, and everyone just sorta understood that these things happen and we're all working together to make this giant machine work. Really lovely to see - even in spite of a sold out Friday, with callouts and machine failure, there were good vibes and lots of support. - IP

We have enough Ancho Verde to make one more batch of Paloma.  I just made a double batch, so we will definitely be set through the weekend. JH

Once again, the back-up kegs of the draught cocktails are light by several qt, to use in case the lines went down. You can either use the store'n'pours, or put the prosuct back into the kegs. - IP

Saturday 11.22.25 Wicked Day 3 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  Th1/2/3 were pretty much sold out for the day, with Wicked doing really well and Bugonia / Frankenstein taking up the smaller theaters.  Definitely a lot more kids coming through for Wicked this time, just as a heads up.  Sentimental Value is also selling out the smaller theaters, too.  Trees also had a group of runners (probably between 10-12 folks) hang out for drinks and brunch post-run.  A couple of more groups came through throughout the day and kept Trees happily busy during the early rounds. JH If we can change the temp on Trees lounge to 70 for this busy stretch, it gets really hot back there when they don't stop moving. -LB Wowie. everyone busting their butts today and I blame L. Frank Baum.  If we didn't switch to the plastic soda cups, we would have drowned today. Made it optimal. I think we need more empty grey racks, they were thin in circulation for the last round. Jesse Sunday 1.5

Manager Communication:  Holiday level business keeps coming, we had a very busy day overall at the bar. Movies kept service bar going strong through 9 pm and then the bar stayed crowded with a group of people watching the Golden Globes. No issues with getting overly busy, however, as the push to service bar died right as the awards show started and a crowd grew at the bar. We were able to get all duties done tonight; batching, cleaning projects and strong service. The 4 pm rush was very heavy in particular, with Theatres 1, 4 and 6 very tightly seated but we never ran overlong on timing. Customer Comments:  We had a guest come to the bar around 4:30 to complain about some late food, which was dropped by a manager. Julie had a flag that she forget to ring until right before check drop and the guests complained about the wait, but were happy with our resolution of some passes and goodwill discounts on the check. Monday 9/1, Labor Day, Gus/Lauren

Manager Communication: Sleepy start. Carly and I opened the building Customer Comments:   Lol, Jeshua provided me with an entertaining exchange. He walkied for an MOD, I came down and there were two teenage boys trying to see Weapons. They did not have ID. The younger looking one claimed to be 18 and had shown Jeshua a photo of his Polish passport. It said he was 25. So I told them that they can't come in. I appreciate Jeshua's keen eye on the upholding of our policies. They were clever at trying to negotiate their way in, but lacked some common sense. -LB BAR Staff Observations: Charlie opened the Lobby, Greg upstairs. Went off without a hitch. Greg was rocking  FOH Staff Observations: Sam was crushing support. Madison hustling for 4/6 (getting that first hot toddy of the season up there hot UGH too early for this.)
