Friday 7.17.26 Gus/Jenn/Ariel

Manager Communication: Easy open. Filmbot was $6 over, I put the difference in the over/under box. I tasted the cold brew that was in question earlier this week. I think it tasted like cold brew but like maybe it was brewed with a different style bean and that is why it tastes different. I am bringing some home for my roommate (who works at Homecoming) to taste so that I can get a straight answer of what's up since consistency in the coffee seems to be the main issue. I mixed in the remainder of that keg with another keg and was able to finish it. No complaints or anything from guests tonight regarding iced coffee tonight. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Matthew came out of the gates just batching. A machine. Easy open, both gentleman came prepared today. Lots of ticketing help needed in the first hour. Easy night with a good crew. - AB2 FOH Staff Observations: Evan is very kind. Special Events: The Odyssey Prep List: We are up to par. I juiced all of the grapefruits too. Tevon b...

Manager Communication:  Back to having a very busy third round, especially if we hold on to The Invite for a while longer.  Overall, a decently busy Thursday, both in the theaters and at Trees.  Even without a World Cup game on, the new table layout at Trees does seem to have had the effect of encouraging guests to stick around for another round or two. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Gabrielle and Greg opened. Did great. -Gus Both bars were busy once closers and I arrived, and were able to get in decent restocks before the second round got into full swing.  Greg floated between Trees and Lobby, depending on service, and was great at holding down the bar with Gabrielle while Matthew and I focused on the service pass.  Jeshua was his normal lobby one-man show once we got into the second round, and I got Gabrielle out of here before the last Th1 screening began seating.  Again, Greg held down a pretty busy bar while Matthew annihilated the service pass, the...

Manager Communication: Big ups to Gil who swapped the iPads at Trees, so now the main terminal has a fully functional, party-time-discotheque-strobe-effect-less screen - thanks, homie! Rebecca also heard our prayers and delivered a set of two brand new bar keys for Trees and Lobby. New S.O.P will be to have the key in the bank bag at open, and then have it back in the bag with the drop, handed to Bar MOD at the end of the night - that way a bar MOD has eyes on the keys every day. - IP Really appreciate the support Gil and Rebecca.-LB  I observed a silverfish on the wall in the office. It made its way to the desk and I killed him.-LB Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Matthew is a glassware machine. Danny had a very sleepy lobby. - IP Spoke to both openers about the SOPs for the bar keys, and have included a note detailing the same in my weekly update (which will be posted tomorrow). JH FOH Staff Observations: Alayna put in an order during Jurassic Park 3 for the Strawber...

Tuesday 7.14.2026 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:  Aside from the guest interaction described below, tonight was rather relaxed aside from the one busy burst of action at the start of the DJ set. - IP Customer Comments:  Our 86 list watch list guest who I added, came in today with her husband and 1 year old.  She as expected caused a bit of a kerfuffle in theater 1.  She did her classic I want tots with the dish, but then claimed she wanted fries. We got her fries too.  Then her 1 year old was shaking the chairs in front of her and screaming. Rebecca asked her to take the kid outside, she did not. I then went into the theater to keep an eye on the situation, the daughter kept screaming, the mom was walking with her around the aisles. When she got to me, I told her it would be helpful to take her outside, she said "It is an all ages screening, she is one years old" I said that she was being disruptive.  We got Dwight and brought her into the hallway. She then went off on a tangent and...

Manager Communication:  It has been quite a while that we have not had  bar keys for the Lost and found closet and bar storage closet: in there we have back up soda boxes which are used during service, we also sell merch and the lobby bar needs ticket paper for film bot. There are many reasons that access is requested to this closet during the course of business that requires a key.  While I was writing this I had to let Volo into the bar storage closet. I understand copying these keys is difficult, but I can't imagine impossible. While trying to get admin work done during the course of the week it is difficult and getting pulled away for calls that would be solved by the key, is frustrating.-LB I concur with Lauren. While it is frustrating that the bar keys have been MIA for a long time now, and it would be less work to assign blame and hope that they will mysteriously reappear, that doesn't seem to be in the cards. The standard set of lobby key and trees key was S.O.P. ...

Manager Communication:  I spoke with Natasha about cocktail submissions and will continue to try and foster the process for the bar team. I also told Danny he should get some ideas ready, he seemed enthusiastic. Once I finish inputting my Top Gun information in, this will be my focus for July-August.-LB Natasha also mentioned that one of the OF kegs was not working, I encountered the walk-in clicking when I first got here and nothing was kicked. I immediately checked the OF keg and it wasn't sitting right on the output line. I will soak and clean the lines with hot water before we open. I think that this particular line gets gunky from the sugary elements and that keg is probably fine, just needs to be de-caked.-LB Customer Comments: Had some really lovely guest interactions today. -LB BAR Staff Observations: Greg didn't set an alarm last night after being up with anxiety over the lemonade issue. So he was 97 minutes late. Natasha a champion that she is set up the bar for him,...

Saturday 7/11/26 Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Smooth open.  The England v. Norway game kept Trees bopping all the way into the dinner round.  The Argentina v. Switzerland game didn't bring out as many folks, but Trees had the guests all the way through the end of that game.  The Invite in Th2 was close to selling out, but that was the all the excitement in the big theaters tonight.  First floor was busy all throughout the evening, and Th4/6 had their fair share of bustle, too. JH Customer Comments:  Pretty buzzy for early Trees  -GS BAR Staff Observations:  I cut Tevon. Rolling with 6 today. Its light. We are doing a little special at the bar- good idea Lauren and Jenn -GS Got openers out of here shortly after I got in, and Greg stuck around until the last round had settled and everybody who wanted a break had gotten one.  Gabrielle + Lydia really held down a busy service pass and bartop throughout the evening, only getting weeded once when it came to finding pils...
