Manager Communication: Busy morning with LOTS of deliveries. Rebecca and I opened - not a whole lot going on until later in the day. - IP Did a proper scrub down of the lowboy and prep area back wall. Looking shiny shiny. - IP Ian gets MVP of the day. He was just doing it all. Thanks Ian. We couldn't do it without you. -LB So the projector bulb went off during the end of All the President's Men. The light's went up automatically, Jack walkied us. He asked someone to do an announcement. Wyatt did. It appeared before that happened someone ran out of the theater without their shoes, purse and waterbottle in what we would assume was  PTSD fueled fear.  Shortly after that Michael walkied from the lobby and on my way down I was met with a dozen cops. This person called in an active shooter.  I told them about this individual and that everything was okay but they could do a walk-through. They were in and out. I brought the person's belongings to MOD. We have her seat number. ...

Manager Communication: The light above the first landing up the stairs to Tress Lounge is out again, and this time I cannot get it to come back on. I jerry-rigged a scoop light (I pilfered from a box in the back of Juan's closet on the third floor) affixed to a high-top table at the window that overlooks the stairwell to shine at least a little bit of light on the stairs (until we can get that light back up and running). I put a "DO NOT TOUCH" label on the switch last time it was giving us problems, but someone on the closing team last night flipped both switches back off. If we can get the light back on, let's make sure to tape the switch in the ON position to avoid this snafu again. - IP The main service iPad (attached to the drawer) at Trees has been damaged somehow. Today when Natasha opened the bank, she alerted me that something was messed up with the display. There is a streak of pixels that are flickering and shuddering across the middle third of the iPad, wh...

Manager Communication:  It was a hot one.  I'm sure FOH Blog will go into more detail about the ac situation in Th1, but we are currently back to partial ac service in that theater (which is getting us back to the low eighties).  Not too much foot traffic coming in from the park, as it is an absolute scorcher today.  Toy Story 5 continues to sell really well, and outsold Minions a couple of times, so that drink special may be good to stick around for a minute. JH I don't think an adequate shout out was given to IAN AND GUS WHO FIXED THE LOBBY BUBBLER!!!! -LB  Jeshua as he is the man and the resident cleaner of all things. He didn't do his regular awesome cleaning last week when he couldn't see. The lobby lowboys have a bit of grossness. So I think whenever we decide to get on the team for cleanliness we should highlight standing water. But we should also have Dio blow out the lowboy's compressor whenever they come to do the ice machines.-LB I spoke to Vlad, he...

Friday 7.2.26 Gus/Jenn/Ariel

Manager Communication: Solid open. Was a nice hot one today. Peeps were bummed in TH1 and TH3 because of A/C complications so we had a bunch of returns, eCredits, and theater swaps. I was with James in TH3 helping with the A/C and it ended up being reset and fixed so TH3 was smooth sailing after that dinner round preshow. - AB2 Customer Comments: Lots of customers were bummed about the temp of theater 1. That being said, Trees was popping. World Cup had Trees banging. I had a lady get all buck nasty because her daughter (who was somewhere between 14-17) had a ticket for Obsession. She was mad that she was not asked for ID and that she was able to get into the movie underage. Daughter was smart and bought a ticket online. I let homegirl just yell at me. She may email but all was fine. Can't win em all. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Tevon and Matthew are rock stars.  I got Greg out of here once dinner round was fully settled and chillin'. Gabrielle was gangsta in Lobby. Natash...

Thursday 07.02.26 Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Smooth open from a building standpoint. Second round was bopping on all three floors, with Th1 (6:00pm) + Th6 (6:15pm) + Th4 (6:30pm) all being sold out, or pretty close to it.  It was great for Sam to see what Trees can look like with a crowd and a very active service pass, and service went really smoothly. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Gabrielle and Jeshua opened very well today. Busy, busy second round, so I had Matthew start his bartending shift up at Trees, since they had an earlier second round hit.  Matthew went down to lobby, where he and Jeshua knocked out some screenings, and then Jeshua was able to get out of here once lobby had done a restock.  I told Gabrielle to hold off on making a stock list for Trees, as I wanted Sam to shadow Natasha while she wrote it.  In the meantime, I had Garbrielle and Sam focus on restocking glassware. Once Natasha got in, she and Sam did a big restock for Trees to prep for All the President's ...

Wednesday 7/1/26 Lauren/Gus/Ian/Jenn

Manager Communication: Well we came, we cleaned, we conquered. Not much more to say.-LB More details in the FOH Blog, but the internet went out in the building justttttt as the USA-Bosnia was wrapping up. James + Becca were on top of the issue once it was noticed and were super communicative with all departments. James was on the phone with tech help and they did all the trouble shooting that they could. Ultimately, we were unable to get the internet back up and running for the rest of service, so we made some adjustments.  For bar, Lobby was just about to close, so no sales were impacted. I was up at Trees and explained the situation to guests (who were in a good mood and gearing up to head out), and we will be able to add their tips to their tabs when we are ultimately able to close them out.  We could not open any of the cash drawers, so I had bartenders gather up their cash tips and mark which cc tips had and had not been entered.  I’m going to stick around and help ...

Tuesday 6/30/26 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:   I was in 4/6 and noticed a gross amount of spores on the fridge that they keep root beer and condiments in. I took Gus up to show him and we found that the entire gasket is caked with black mold. This would be a major DOH violation. We will steam it with our new cleaning toy tomorrow, but this needs to be side work that gets assigned. Along with there being a brown puddle on the bottom of the fridge, the gaskets need to be wiped down with sanitizer twice a week. I suspect the spores blossomed on the outside of the fridge recently since the air conditioning has stopped working, but it is pretty alarming people working in this industry didn't notice or care to do something about it.-LB Ticket sales were regular for a Tuesday, but Drag Bingo brought in a good crowd. Becca and Christine were awesome on the floor tonight. Christine patrolled the first floor and took a LOT of reps on Filmbot / ticketing queries. - IP BAR Staff Observations: The whole team di...
