Monday 6/15/26 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: I think with the early success of the world cup games and the Knicks watch parties, we should consider advertising US Open Tennis coverage at Trees. The end of August is usually slow so any business is good. We can also do a mock version of the Honey Deuce.-LB I also wanted to note, some of these World cup games will start late and we will have the issue of closing Trees while games are still being played, I do worry about advertising games and then asking people to leave before matches are over. So I think we need to pick and choose what games we start just to avoid the issue of having to keep people on OT.-LB  There is still a little pushing out of old inventory we need to make room for all of the grapefruit soda items in the walk-in. Tepache sale for next week trivia? We are lose. I moved some stuff around, looking really good. Also growing pains that will settle as the new item prep fears settle. (for me)-LB Chill Monday from the evening on. Sales were m...

Sunday 6.14.2026 Ian / Lauren - WORLD CUP BONANZA

Manager Communication: Opened 'er up with Wyatt. Kudos to last night's closing team - it was WILD in Trees last night and it looks great in here! - IP Busy Spielberg shows but otherwise very chill. World Cup got going as the day went on. Team was fantastic, and our new bartender Andrea is AWESOME. - IP I already spoke to Gil about this, but I mentioned how it might be smart with the tables being out at Trees to have a QR code menu/ instructions on ordering at the bar. I have had some customers ask. This would be primarily of facilitation on the weekends. The tables are a definitely a plus and I have seen Conrad mention QR code menus for LoRes, so maybe some brainstorming regarding this.-LB Love that the popcorn neon is back, I put the nice little USB lamp in bar storage.-LB And we have the creepy candelabra from Death Becomes Her in the Lobby, it looks great.-LB Customer Comments: The tables at Trees seem to be a truly excellent fit. Might move them around tonight when closing...

Saturday 6.13.26

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened the building. Pretty breezy. -GS Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Tevon and Matthew opening are such pros. I was able to push everyone back today. Cut Matthew at 4. Cut Tevon around 4:30. -GS\ Theaters were quiet but really glad I held onto Danny and Gab for the game. Trees was packed and busy.  I cut Danny around 10:15. Gab as the game ended.  I staff perked food for Patrick, Lydia and Gab since they did not stop moving the entire night. It was great and I do think we should keep the tables. It has been really good vibes in there since we have kept them.-LB The whole team crushed it. Really excellent service. -LB FOH Staff Observations: Hiring/Training: Andrea Day 1 Andrea got a lot of reps on Filmbot, made a good amount of tickets for theaters. Points to work on: Register management and ringing in orders (we completed POS training, but there just wasn't a lot of actual live things to ring in.) She has great attention t...

Friday June 12th Gus/Jenn/Ariel

Manager Communication: Smooth menu change (albiet a small one)  - GS Customer Comments: Filled up in Trees around 5pm - GS BAR Staff Observations : Going to call Matthew in earlier for Friday batch shifts and give him an hour break before his shift  -GS Would he prefer that? I can see Matthew preferring to just work through the long shift. - AB2 Was a nice busy day. The rain brought some peeps in, The World Cup brought some peeps in, and the theaters were busy. Jeshua was bugging out a bit due to the POS/Card reader not working (Read Mobilebytes issues). This did not help. I told him to take it easy several times. The system breaking down is not fun but usually forcing things and bugging out and getting mad does not help and does not look good in front of guests. I put a sign over that POS and had the whole team close people out from the far POS. Good thing we have 2 here. - AB2 I held Tevon here later than usual. I needed him. We were busy with everything tonight ...

Thursday 6/11/2026 Gus/Ian/Jenn

Manager Communication: Got a bunch of menu change stuff accomplished and Gus did some great reorganization on the liquor shelves. - IP Everything except the Irish Coffee cheater update is batched and ready for launch tomorrow. Gus will amend the Irish Coffee cheater tomorrow. - IP Trees menus (full + happy hour) have all been updated for menu change.  All Irish Coffee cheaters have been brought to the liquor room to be sweetened up for service tomorrow. JH BAR Staff Observations: Danny and Gab opened. - IP Pretty busy evening at both bars, with the second round doing pretty well across the building.  I swung Danny up to Trees during the second round load-in for Th1, and then he was able to get out of here once both bars were restocked.  Jeshua held down lobby solo without issue for the rest of the evening.  Just as Gabrielle was going to get out of here, a bunch of guests from Th1 came to Trees to hang out once their movie ended, so she hopped back behind the bar w...

Wednesday 6/10/2026 Ian/Jenn

Manager Communication: Very slow day for theater service, so I was able to tackle a bunch. Machines cleaned first thing, orders (Southern and US Foods) put away, built the O-Ren Keg - it is in the walk-in ready to go. I also played some keg jenga and the walk-in is looking good. Got us up on anything that wasn't in surplus in the walk-in (prep info below). - IP Matt had a great idea to do a 50/50 shot of the Firewalk and the 50yr Storm as a special for the Knicks games - just a shot glass with a dollop of each frozen. There is a button on bar speed labeled "Knicks Shot". I made little graphic cards to be put at Trees for the games. - IP  BAR Staff Observations: Matt and Jeshua opened so everything was set and ready and I was able to get a bunch done. - IP We sailed right through the dinner round, and Jeshua was able to get out of here once Tevon arrived.  Also, shoutout to Jeshua for giving the backbar at Trees a deep clean during a pretty mellow first round.    An...

Tuesday 6/9/26 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:  I put masking tape in the walk-in where the coconut water, saline and acid solution can go for the upcoming cocktails. -LB Gus spoke with coca cola and they had in fact been having our tickets closed by random companies saying they came here. Hopefully they understand that they need to come out and service us now since no one has come-LB Bar binders are good to go.-LB Lauren crushed menu change tasks. All three of us together locked in the Disclosure Day special (I made the build sheet in the drive and updated the menu change doc). Pre-Code Parade had a lovely little crowd who partied heartily beforehand and had a little afterparty action. James makes life very easy for us bar managers, and I deeply appreciate it. - IP BAR Staff Observations:  Lydia and Patrick did a great job behind the bar. Tevon and Greg were stalwarts in the lobby. - IP Special Events?  pre-code - this has been getting busier! The DJ is spinning some good tunes and people seem ...
