Thursday 4.30.26 Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Easy open. James and me beasted it -GS  The second round was busyyyyyyyy for a Thursday night.  Encore screening of Butthole Surfers and TDWP2 is easily selling out our larger theaters.  Busy busy weekend ahead. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Gabrielle had some really thoughtful things to say about the bar, staffing and such. Will share at the meeting on Tuesday Once closers were in, lobby did a big restock and I had Greg float up to Trees just as the second round was hitting Trees Lounge.  Definitely needed the three bartenders, as it freed me up to not only expo, but tray up drinks.  Excellent work across the board, guests at the bar were attended to and no drinks were left to die in the pass.  It was a very busy ninety minutes or so, but everybody absolutely crushed it.   Got Greg out of here and held on to Gabrielle to handle the late round TDWP2 and the Bingo crowd.  At 10:15pm, I went down to lobby and ...

Manager Communication:  Coca cola came by and the lovely technician Jim hooked us up with a new bar gun and manifold (the under part) so we are back in business in the service well. -LB I put out 4 dozen Collins glasses, we have no more back ups.-LB BAR Staff Observations:  Jeshua handled a very busy Lobby (lots of new folks coming through for Doc'n Roll and just could not resist the opportunity to order a drink before heading up the stairs).  Routed first floor once the lobby gate came down, and he was able to help Gabrielle with a few closing tasks.  The last two Wednesdays have had a very busy Trees crowd, so Jeshua has been a real champ the last two weeks.  Matthew + Gabrielle sailed through service, with Matthew sticking around until Trees had mellowed into the third round.  Gabrielle handled a very busy bar for the rest of the evening and closed without issue. JH Special Events?  The Q&A in Th1 ended up running long, so Matthew stuck around a...

Manager Communication:  Everybody in the house today. Chill until Mulholland Drive. Was a good pop but nothing crazy. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Lydia rocked the long lobby with no issue. Tevon and Danny were great in Trees. Danny handled the smattering of tickets and bar crowd after Tevon left with ease. He's also a thorough bartender from drink making to breaking down at end of night. Love to see it. - IP Special Events?   Miss Malice Mulholland Drive. Super sold out and had a very elongated drink and food rush. Always a good show! - IP 86ed / counts on items: 86ing Infinite Possibilities going forward. - IP Prep List:  2 lemonades, twitterpated. -LB Will take a look and replenish tomorrow for rest of week and syrups/etc for batch shift Friday. - IP Pay Outs: Miscellaneous Expense - $30 - IP Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  USfoods. To Rise coming tomorrow. Union coming tomorrow. Baldor coming tomorrow.-LB Good that we have beer on the way! EVERYTHING kicked tonigh...

Manager Communication:   We are on our last bottle of Monkey 47 gin it is at Trees.-LB  We need to put more Collins glasses into circulation before this weekend.-LB I was checking on Spoons inventory, which we are good on except cuckoo Bananas (but Gus we will need a sweeter coffee liqueur for that to make more). The store and pour lids had some spores on them. So I transferred them to 4 quarts and will leave them just on the shelf and not in the bus tub if the lack of circulation of cold air was creating a warmer environment for spores to thrive. I did notice this with the former menu old product on the bottles.  Also if you notice spores on the top of the cocktail kegs, just turn them upside down and use the floppy drain stopper to soak the tops and the yellow brush to brush off the spores. I did this with three kegs today. Super easy maintenance to keep things fresh and prevent further spore spread. -LB Super chill night. Reel-ability screening was awesome - had a dece...

Manager Communication: Less busy morning than yesterday, but the Brooklyn Half Marathon has flooded the park with people. The weather is staying dry (for the time being) but the influx of people in the area will likely lead to good walk-in sales. Staffing levels are great - Wyatt and Rebecca on MOD, me at bars. Let's rock. - IP So I don't know what happened to the elevator side door to the lobby but it is now automatically locking. I closed the door after Darius was done so it wasn't left unattended when Michael was doing rounds. I will open it for Junior, but someone should investigate why that is happening. We also need a replacement key for the lobby bar key set so they can open the projection closet for L&F and the liquor room if needed.-LB It felt like glasses were constantly in short supply as they were out being used but as one of the servers put it: the glassware is the blood and we are the heart pumping the glassware throughout the building. So very poetic.-LB...

Manager Communication: Opening round sales were mellow-ish but Michael is packing the house with lots of first-time fliers. Staff has been very patient and very communicative, and overall I think the majority of our new guests are leaving with an awesome first time experience. - IP I cut my finger on the mesh metal strainers we use in the sinks at Trees when I was helping Lydia reset ahead of the 8:30  Michael. There are two like this. I put in an amazon order for the simpler type we have which I think would lend itself to more frequent cleaning and safer usage. The metal on the sides is very sharp. -LB   Customer Comments: In the last MJ movie on the night seat seat 1717 came out to Trees to complain that they didn't get their food or drinks even though they ordered before their neighbors. I checked with Lanie who seemed confused and unphased, thought it was a different table. I found the order on the table but it didn't seem to have gotten to them. I comped the sodas, ...

Friday 04.24.26 Gus/Jenn/Ariel

Manager Communication: Jared and I opened up the building. Shoutout to Jared who covered my normal part while I helped a delivery of booze. Customer Comments: There was very spirited man who wanted Nitehawk popcorns to go. Jared helped him out. BAR Staff Observations: Matthew and Tevon opened. Legends. Everything was pretty chill FOH Staff Observations: Bri is always a delight to be around Solid busy night but not too hectic. Maybe it's just me but I feel like servers can be a bit spoiled here and always expect support and additional help with flips. As TH1 last round was getting in, servers were noticeably bummed that they did not have support, and drinks sat at the pass for a bit. We had 5 servers (Bre was starting and darting) for a close to sold out (192) theater 1. I feel that the muscle memory for putting in orders and then walking to the bar is non existent. We had a good team in the theater (Bre, Alayna, Connor, Jay, & Shane) and I knew they could handle it, but som...
