Monday / 6.30.25 / Ariel & Lauren / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: Tree's cash had a $5 bill in the singles bundle. I put the $5 in the Over/Under and took a dollar to even the Tree's bank. - AB2 Sound proofing people came in today. All their stuff is in the Mezz so Mezzanine is closed today. All lights need to be turned off tonight before leaving. One of the guys was getting shocked so please do not turn the lights on tomorrow if you come in and things look different. The keys to the light box are in the MOD office in the key box. The keys are labeled "49 TREE LIGHT BOX." Please put them back. We don't wanna lose those. AB2 BAR Staff Observations:  Greg hung around for the expected post-sports crowd. Trees got popping as could be with the mezz closed, a welcome bump for a rather slow day.-LB  Mondays at Trees are a hang-LB FOH Staff Observations: Bruce killing it in the heat-LB Prep List: I batched - 2 Firewalk - Lemonade - Margarita Keg - 2 Hey Queens - Iced Tea DID NOT batch - Rebel with a Cause due to n...

Manager Communication: Ice machine in lobby is doing well. Ice machine at Trees is still pulling itself together this morning.  Beeping in lobby from the gate that needs its batteries changed was fierce, got it to stop after about 5 minutes of holding the buttons down.-LB Got everything prepped for Trivia-LB Came in to everything set up and ready to go - thank you! Besides one nearly sold out F1 in theater 2, and the AC snafu in theater 5 and subsequent rigmarole at the box office, it was a mellow evening. Propped open the saloon doors next to the Trees pass to promote some of the cooler air from the lounge area to percolate near the ice machine. It helps for air circulation in general. - IP  Customer Comments: The AC being out in Th 5 was a big bummer for a lot of folks, but for the most part everyone was understanding. - IP BAR Staff Observations:  Super slow - cut Tevon by 2pm. Maya got out of here shortly after 4. -LB Fran stuck around and helped Darius out in the lob...

Saturday 06.28 Jenn/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:  Sleepy first round, which gave both bars plenty of time to restock glassware, prep garnishes, and roll silverware. JH Megan 2.0 last round was a total dud tonight and made everything feel sleepier than it actually was. Downstairs was fully sold out for the last round and F1 is doing well in Theater 2. Trees stayed busy all night, as Ariel's record store pop-up drew a great crowd (thanks, AB2!). - IP *SEVERAL IMPORTANT NOTES IN MAINTENANCE BELOW FYI* BAR Staff Observations:  Greg and Matthew crushed a very smooth opening, and Matthew is just so great about greeting every guest that comes through Trees.  Once both mids were in, we cut Greg as Gabrielle felt good about running lobby solo until Jeshua came in. JH Trees remained busy for most of the evening, and Patrick and Lydia and Fran handled it great. Jeshua ran the lobby solo for the majority of the evening, aside from when I jumped in to help with his sold out last round. - IP FOH Staff Observati...

Friday 6/27/25 Gus/Ariel

Manager Communication: Lots of Floor support. Shoutout to Wyatt who helped open the building because I was spoken for doing inventory. We did Fran's write up and it was put in his file.- AB2 I am bringing a case of Lime Juice and Giffard Pamplemousse to Williamsburg tonight. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Patrick is a baller. Gabrielle killed thangs in the lobby solo. I got Tevon out early, and Patrick. Fran & Matthew handled things in Tree's. - AB2 FOH Staff Observations: Rebecca is really a pleasure to be around. Lots of homies killed it tonight. Bre, Monica, Rebecca, Kat, Evan, Tiffany, Siete. They were the mains for me tonight. - AB2 Sick Leave/ Call outs: Jenn is under the weather. Hope you feel better. 86ed / counts on items: Weller 12 year. its 86ed in Mobilebites and the new one (Weller Reserve) is active. Prep List: We made a ton of stuff Pay Outs: ($40 - Kitchen trail) 7150 - Misc Operations Received:  12% Union Southern CW (just a bit of wine, not a full orde...

Thursday / 6.26.25 / Ariel & Jenn / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: Fran did not show up today. After 20 minutes had passed, I started to open the Lobby bar. I texted Fran and got no answer and then called and nothing. I fully opened lobby and had Tevon walk through to make sure I had everything good. I decided to text Matthew, Maya, and Jeshua and ask if one of them can come early. Matthew came in shortly after and held down lobby until Jeshua arrived. Fran later texted me apologizing and I told him that we figured things out and did not need him to come in today. I did his write up and put it in my lil cubby thang in the office. - AB2 Not much traffic from the BRIC event, but it did start raining shortly before showtime, so that may have impacted the amount of people who made it to the show. JH BAR Staff Observations: Matthew came in early today in Frans absence. It was very much appreciated. Him and Tevon were great opening. They really came out big for me today! - AB2 Tevon got out of here once the second round had settled, a...

Wednesday 06.25.25 Ian/Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Nice crowd at Trees throughout the night, lots of guests at both bars, with service slowing down a little after eleven. JH Customer Comments: Two of Bruce's guests in the 6:00pm Materialists came to Trees to close out early around 7:15/7:20pm.  When I was closing them out I asked them how their experience was and they told me that as a couple that come here pretty regularly, they were very disappointed in the quality of service they received.   To sum it up, one guest had written a note for a mezcal Negroni, and Bruce checked with the bar if we could accommodate (we don't) and then let the guests know.  The guest then said she would take a neat pour of Siete Misterios and a Tecate.  Bruce forgot to ring the order in (estimated 20-30 min) until a little after seven when the guests wrote a flag asking about their order.  Unfortunately, that was when Th1 was in the middle of its initial service push, so by the time the drinks wer...

Tuesday 06/24/2025 Gus/Ian

Manager Communication: Nothing really to remark about the day. Gus and I had a little mini bar meeting, narrowed down the Jurassic World cocktail and handled a pretty busy Tuesday for not having Trivia. The special screening was a big hit - packed Trees before and after. Good night. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Darius and Tevon are the dream team duo for the party vibe we had at Trees tonight. They're cool, fast and personable - everyone was having a great time. Patrick stuck around a little late to help out with the final 28 Years push and then got outta here, while Lydia flew the lobby solo. - IP  Special Events? The Dog Movie screening had a great crowd before and after the event, with a merch table and a lively group of cool people. They were awesome - would love to have them back any time! - IP Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Tightening up on standing water and potential bug/fruit fly problem areas. This building is a swamp, we don't need to help it get worse! - IP 86ed / coun...

Monday 06.23.25 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication: I will be gone and off the grid until Saturday. Jenn will keep an eye on US foods and Baldor. We are out of cinnamon sticks but Jenn knows, if they can be tacked onto Baldor.-LB  We are so busy with food sales at Trees I had to bust out more service numbers!!!  We got hit with the softball players who came in hot, I didn't think they would play today because of the heat but they did.-LB Timothy was without an ear piece again in the lobby. Kind of an awkward hospitality vibe so I brought him another one.-LB The CO2 alarm started going off some time after 9pm. I reset it, propped the door, tried to source the leak when it was going off. Seemed like the unit all the way to the right on the top was spewing CO2, but it eventually stopped. I ran the line that is attached to that "knuckle", the empty OJ line. -LB The ice machine at Trees was working hard most of the day. Got thrown some codes after dinner saying it was retrying ice. I let it reset and trie...

Sunday 6/22/25 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: I could not locate either measuring spoons set so I ordered two more for bar prep. Very strange.-LB I put in an order for some wire mesh and magnetic tape, I am going to fashion some drain covers that will magnetically stick to the top of the drain preventing limes, bottle caps from going in drain. I also ordered a bunch of green goblin, I spoke with Rebecca about adding this routine maintenance for bar. I can coordinate to do theater drains as well.-LB **With it getting so hot and humid, the frozen machines are having to work overtime to get frozen by the time doors open. If possible, whomever is first MOD in the building, please turn the frozen machines to SLUSH first thing - that should give them enough time to freeze up for service. If you don't know how to change the settings, just ask a friendly Bar MOD. Thanks!!** - IP Later rounds got very busy and Game 7 of the Finals kept Trees buzzing for the majority of the evening. Lauren had us well prepared for...

Saturday 06.21.25 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication:  Sleepy start to the day, with theaters being pretty easygoing for the first two rounds.  Got some cleaning and organizational tasks handled behind both bars and in the walk-in. JH Slow start turned into a very busy night, particularly at Trees. Jenn's coordination of the in-times for the bar team was absolutely clutch, and we were staffed exactly as we needed to be. 28 Years Later had some pretty gnarly drink rushes. Great stuff! - IP Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations:  Since the morning was pretty mellow, both Matthew and Natasha got into some cleaning and organizing projects during the first two rounds.  Natasha got up into the backbar cupboards and got us set up on backup bottles and cleared out some excess, so let's try to keep on top of bartenders keeping it orderly up there.  Greg came in just as Trees and the theaters were getting a little busier, and bar service was smooth sailing throughout the day. JH Greg, Gab and Patr...

Friday 6/20/25 Jenn/Lauren/Ariel

Manager Communication: Solid night and had busy bars and theaters. Everything was smooth. Tree's had the baby people and they had a nice pop in Tree's. After that, we had a few theater pushes. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: We were able to get Tevon and Greg out pretty early tonight. Gab was great in lobby solo and Matthew/Natasha crushed it in Tree's. - AB2 FOH Staff Observations: Cate was coolin' in TH5, Shae was all over the building doing support, Michael was super helpful for me in Tree's, Quetzie killed thangs as always, Raekwon was bodying the 4/6 rush towards the end of the night, Monica was on top of everything for TH1 and directing newer servers for better service. The servers did their thing tonight. - AB2 Sick Leave/ Call outs: Special Events? New parents peoples had a nice crowd in Trees today. I made a good amount of N/A spritzers. They were vibing and ordering food and drinks. I always enjoy when they come through. - AB2 Staff Meeting Agenda notes:  ...

Thursday 06.19.25 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  Busy busy busy across all floors and theaters from the moment we opened today.  Lots of movies grew in sales over the course of the day, and most theaters sold out, or came close to it, in several rounds.  Overall, service was smooth, and I think staffing the bar like it was a Saturday really helped us navigate a nonstop four rounds of service. JH I think we should post a sign downstairs on the ladies room noting that there are many more bathrooms and more generously sized bathrooms on the second floor. There was a long line today.-LB I know it would be unlikely to be possible, but a heat pump vent nearer to the service well at Trees could keep some of the humidity that leads to a lot of issues in check.-LB When we have draft choice come ahead of next menu change, I think we should have them replace the Three's brewing apparatus. It takes entirely too long to get it going sometimes. It is a very popular beer. -LB Wowza. Busy busy busy, really impre...

Wednesday 5/18/25 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: I cleaned the lobby frozen machines, got them back together eventually. Much respect Ian. Tevon did the bubblers since I did not get to them.-LB Ian and I swapped a shorter glass shelf for the long one in lobby bar, so the frozen machines have some circulation. I put a clip on fan on that glass shelf so we don't have to keep the air mover on the bar.-LB Ian and I stacked and rearranged a dubious walk-in. -LB Jenn, please make sure Fran gets to take his new hire quiz again head of his shift tomorrow if he beats me here, I did not get to rewrite anything yet, but I think he will do well now that we went over things. -LB Lobby bar ice machine stopped making ice after it got fully depleted. I took off the face and put small air blower on it. So hopefully it can get it's act together. I will be in touch with Matthew if we need Dio to come by while Gus is gone, I have the number as well.-LB Juneteenth Eve was no joke! Trees was packed all night and Materialist...

Tuesday 6/17/25 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: The Trees ice machine is down for the count, waiting on Dio.  The Lobby ice machine said "thin ice" around 6. I reset the machine (code 8). It then gave code 2, max harvest when I went down to see how it was an hour later. This is likely due to the environmental factors like barometric pressure and humidity. However I do think we might need to consider dehumidifiers to help these machines function. This is unlike anything I have ever seen, humidity-wise and I think it will make new and fun problems for the bar department. -LB So I unplugged the bug light and put the small air mover at the ice machine in the lobby. It is having issues and the fans aren't spinning.  Machines will start to malfunction all over the place when another thing is wrong. I don't know if the water source for theater 7 spout might have something to do with this issue, but just wanted to flag. Hopefully Dio can come early and get stuff moving, I will troubleshoot as soon as...

Monday 6.16.25 / Ariel & Lauren / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: I was able to fully clean all the Frozen Machines in Tree's but did not get to the ones in Lobby. - AB2 I locked the automatic doors to the lobby at midnight since there is no security, so I don't have to worry about new people coming in when I am moving around the building.-LB Customer Comments: The loveliest two folks came in tonight asking if there was any info on the old Sanders Theater. I chatted with them for a while, I brought them up to show them the old photo, I will try to mount it tomorrow with Juan! He made Gods of Times Square. Super lovely.  BAR Staff Observations: Twas a nice and easy opening with Greg and Lydia. They had everything setup nicely for opening. - AB2  Greg got the early cut a little after 7. Lydia has been powering through Trees ebbs and flows with Jericho. Cut around 10pm.   Hiring/Training: Shae is awesome as a floor manager. Really helpful human!-LB Sick Leave/ Call outs: Timothy called out.  Special Even...

Sunday 6/15/25 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Really great hand off from blog, thanks Jenn! I am storing the lids for the pots on the shelf with cambros and boxed glassware, because I don't think DOH would be into current location. -LB I echo what Jenn said about the 16 oz plastic cups. This is an absolute upgrade in functional service. Thank you to everyone who made it happen. We may find we feel like we have less racks when bussing, if that is the case the runners can just stack dirty 16 oz cups and bring to dish pit. I think this is really only an issue during peak soda consumption hours.-LB Very busy day here and really smooth service. Cutting Tevon earlier than expected since Trees is snoozy this Father's day. -LB Lately I have noticed a lot of people accidentally coming to Trees that were trying to access theaters ADA entrance.  Perhaps we refine the signage, for some patrons, extra movement can be challenging. -LB Trying to reinforce Trees to make sure they have roll ups for the day, but unfor...

Saturday 06.14.2025 Ian/Jenn

Manager Communication:  A busy busy brunch turned into a busy busy evening, with most theaters selling out throughout the day.  Sinners , Lilo & Stitch , Friendship , and Mission Impossible are all holding on strong, and all of our newer movies are selling well, too.  Also, Trees was bopping all day, and had a crowd at the bar and tables all the way up until 11:30pm. JH BAR Staff Observations: When I came in around five, both bars were in the thick of it with regards to theater service.  The back-to-back sold out seatings in Th1/2/4/6 in the third round was nonstop, but service went incredibly well.  Matthew did the world's greatest restock for lobby before getting out, to the point that neither Fran nor Jeshua needed to restock lobby for the rest of service.  Greg was a champ and stuck around until everyone had a chance to eat family meal, which was enormously helpful due to that 5 o'clock dinner round crunch. Fran floated back down to lobby by 5:30p...

Friday 06.13.2025 Jenn/Ian/Gus

Manager Communication: Jenn was able to find the hose for rinsing the frozen machines! Yay! She knocked that out and inventory while Tevon batched up quite a list. Rebecca, Gil and I opened up the building. Ice machines are looking right as rain at the time of this writing. - IP Customer Comments: Had a couple of 21/under 21 year olds pretty bummed out that we were carding. That means its working. Shoutout to Natasha for being so solid asking for ID's. -GS BAR Staff Observations: Natasha and Matthew run Trees lounge so incredibly. Last night we cut Natasha cause it was slow and we had people. Tonight we let Matthew go a touch early (after all the major pops) and Natasha was so communicative about what she needed, what could wait till later and how to set the place up for success tomorrow-GS FOH Staff Observations: Jay was great tonight. Erika was also great. Mia who is training seems really on it. -GS Hiring/Training: Sick Leave/ Call outs: Special Events The event for Bobby Carr...

Thursday 06.12.25 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication:  Very mellow first round. JH Very mellow every round.  Good manager team tonight. Very active Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Everyone was on it tonight. Cut Gabrielle and Tevon pretty quickly. Natasha stayed on until about 9:30, then took an early cut.  FOH Staff Observations: Special Events? Staff Meeting Agenda notes:  Workshopped some potential summer cocktails and have some ideas for how to refine them before our tasting.  Will touch base with Gus tomorrow. JH 86ed / counts on items: Prep List:  We made a double batch of the new special. For Tevon 4 Firewalks (Southern is arriving) 4 Lemonade Margarita Keg Back in the Jungle Simple Date Oregeat Cobra Chai (whatever can be gotten through) Do not batch Thermo Nuclear Core (unless we go on an absolute run, lets let this one fade to black R&D comp checks: Over/Short on Banks: Pay Outs: Lost & Found?: Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Tomorrow expect 12%, Skurnik,...

Wednesday 6.11.2025 Ian/Jenn

Manager Communication: Came in and cleaned all beverage machinery at both bars, put away the massive soda/juice order from US Foods, and received and organized large beer order from Union. Lauren isn't feeling well today, so Rebecca helped me out by getting the banks and cue sheets ready for the bars. Then dealt with a little scheduling snafu because Jeshua was unable to come into work today - Tevon put on his superhero cape and said he'd swing a long lobby shift. THEN got the building opened up. Phew, busy morning! - IP Trees definitely was bopping throughout the evening, and cleared out after the folks from the  X/1999  screening had their last sips a little after eleven. JH Customer Comments:  There was a guest at Trees Lounge around 3:30pm that ordered a virgin root beer float and paid with a gift card.  The ticket is J9.  They came back around 8:00pm and showed me on their phone that the pending charge from Nitehawk was $14.38, instead of the $11.98 that t...

Tuesday 6/10/25 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Summer menu change is on track to be the coolest. -LB Chill Tuesday without Trivia. Everybody was on point. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Nothing of note to report. Service was smooth and Tevon even had time to get some batching done.  FOH Staff Observations: Emmanuel is so nice. - IP Sick Leave/ Call outs:   Greg has a cold-LB Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Looking forward to menu change! 86ed / counts on items:  Most Ardently bids us adieu. -LB Prep List:   Ohana, Tycoon, Back 2 Jungle, Thermo.  R&D comp checks: Lauren and I will calculate a tab for today's R&D. Everything was delicious. Gonna be a great new menu. - IP Pay Outs: 5200 - $30 Lost & Found?: CC left at Trees - Alexander, Jeffrey - IP Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Guava came in.  US foods bringing a lot of soda tomorrow-LB Baldor coming tomorrow. -LB Maintenance:    Ice machine seems happy. -LB I fixed the menu holder at Trees lounge. Perchance we...

Monday / 6.9.25 Ariel & Lauren / NPP Bar Blog

Manager Communication: Root Beer was connected to the wrong line. I connected it and we good now for RB in Tree's. - AB2 So it seems that the guava didn't come again, so assuming the Ohana cocktail is coming off Thursday we should be fine, but it may need to be 86ed. I emailed Baldor.-LB I broke out 3 boxes of 16 oz cups at lobby bar. Patrick is going to set up a little stash for them. I took back a couple of boxes of pints. -LB I am having trouble hearing walkie calls when I am helping at Trees, if we can order a few in-ear earpieces.-LB The ice machine at Trees got so full around 9pm we got a H code, basically bin full can't make more. I turned it off for a bit. I will turn it back on at night's end and aim the fan towards it. -LB A man got faint from all the blood, I am guessing Santa Sangue. He was laying on the couch at lobby bar, then he was laying on the floor in the lobby, unsure if he fainted again. He was being helped into a cab by a friend. Timothy seemed to ...

Sunday 6/8/25 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Conner asked me if the Theater 5 service station could get one of the black holders I got for paper towels for that station. I told him I would run it up the chain, since those areas are not my area. But I feel like C-folds are never a bad thing to have around. -LB Ice machines had ice when we opened. So far they have been good for the last 3 hours. I think having the front plate off the one at Trees helps it stay cool, but obviously not a long term solution. Soda was rehooked and still waiting for Coca cola.-LB Damon stopped by, we talked about both ice machines in detail. He emphasized the importance of the machines being able to have good air flow for cooling.  He mentioned that pulling out the Trees machine to fully get behind it and clean out those vents/fans would be a good choice upon next cleaning visit.  I told him I would try to get the vent cleared and perhaps install a fan that faces down towards the machine to aid in air flow. I do think a ...

Saturday 06.07.25 Jenn/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Trying to make sure we order the dishpit nozzle, I consulted Gil, who told me to ask Matty. Matty is gonna take a look and says he may have a piece.  BOOM Matty fixed it for us!!!-LB Ariel, just a heads up, we have been storing the tea in the walk-in on the bottom shelf with all the other NA drinks.-LB  I went to look for Cambros in the kitchen and noticed some more of our carafes. I spoke with Jenn about letting the bar team know in this week's email that opening lobby bartender can take a look when sweeping kitchen for other items. Bar managers, also just keep an eye. They end up on the top shelf to the left of the kitchen dishpit.-LB So we keep gettin more piles of events waters that intermingle in the exceptional organization in the liquor room, done by Ian. Jeremy snagged us an aluminum riser so we can keep them in one place grabbable by events staff etc. -LB Teamwork makes the dreamwork. Everyone helped today happen.-LB Lots of dumb machine error t...

Friday 6/6/25 Jenn/Gus/Ariel

Manager Communication: Pretty normal day here at the hawk. Wasn't buck city. Bars were not too hectic. I was able to get Fran out after that Downstairs dinner round settled and Jeshua followed soon after. - AB2 We were running a little low on pint cups. It was not too close to where I had to whip open a new box but we may need to soon. - AB2 Runners and Servers were doing a great job not putting any pint cups with water cups. I helped with a good amount of flips and did not see anyone mix them up or even put the Pint cups where the water cups belong. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations:  Natasha was an hour late today. She texted me at 5:33 that she was going to be late. She texted me a second time at 6:26 stating that her ETA was 6:50. I read this at around 7:01 and she arrived shortly after. I was busy in the building and did not respond immediately. I ended up writing her up... I later learned that she was having a bad day and had a panic attack and I was unaware until we spoke during ...

Thursday 06.05.25 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication:  Very hot day and an early weekday open, with the third floor selling really well in the first round and Th3 Lilo & Stitch kicking off the busy kid screenings.  The Phoenician Scheme did pretty well during the dinner round. All of the other movies that do not include extended martial arts sequences continue to sell well in the first two rounds. JH Customer Comments: I got a call to the lobby around 6:45. Guest wanted to see Phoenician Scheme, but was late, Jeshua wouldn't let him in as per our rules. He called Jeshua a profanity. He then kept repeating it and called me a profanity. I told him he wasn't getting in and to leave. That is all. GS There was a lady in theater 7 who came in late and apparently really drunk. Connor told me this. However, from what I heard she was just a drunk lady, so I let it ride. Then I was walking back to bar prep and this guy was lost. He was quite, but a bit over the top pissed about not being able to find the theate...

Wednesday 6/4/2025 Ian/(Gus)/Lauren

Manager Communication: Came in a little early this morning to be able to have all the machine cleaning done by the time the massive delivery arrived. It was a very sleepy daytime service so I had time to organize said delivery in the liquor room. - IP  It looks like Coca cola is out of stock at US Foods until 6/9. So fingers crossed we get one tomorrow. We can probably make it we just crush a ton of soda.-LB Customer Comments: A peculiar interaction with a guest in the lobby that left the Redlands Q&A and was a little overwhelmed. I think he felt the actress was being disrespected, it is a heavy film according to them. I talked to them for a bit as I think that is all they really wanted was to decompress. I didn't have a lot to say back, but I listened.-LB Bar Staff Obs:   Jeshua is such a reliable member of the bar staff. Just so consistent in all he does. -LB Hiring/Training: Fran got a print out of the test from Gus and I believe took it with him. I reminded him to...

Tuesday 6/3/25 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Bar managers had a little meeting - discussed upcoming menu change and R&D. Dion called out tonight and Lauren went home a little early because she wasn't feeling well, but Jame and I were able to handle a smooth evening, complete with Trivia! - IP BAR Staff Observations:  Franny seems to be gelling with the bar team like candy.-LB Trivia team crushed with a lovely assist by Fran. Having the extra hands was nice - it also allowed Fran a little practice with the Trees Special Cocktails. Lobby was chill tonight. Greg rules. - IP FOH Staff Observations: Dwight is the real MVP. - IP Hiring/Training: Fran came in to help out with Trivia tonight. He did great! He held down the pass by himself a couple of times and also got to make some of the specialty cocktails. He said he feels good about working both bars and is looking forward to developing the muscle memory. - IP Sick Leave/ Call outs: Dion called out, Lauren scooted out a little early because she wasn...

Monday / 6.2.25 / Ariel & Lauren / NPP Bar

Manager Communication:   I decided to hold rolling out the new cambro cups tonight so we can make some good decisions as a team. I am going to wash a bunch of them so they are good to go for service.-LB  I unpacked and washed 36 16oz cambros, had a few cracked from packaging, will keep a running tally to ask Webstaurant for credits. I will try to do another three boxes if these look decently dry. -LB We can do Sad Mix for trivia tomorrow. Gus as I see Jenn is not on tomorrow, if it is helpful for me to come in earlier tomorrow, knowing what we want to get done, let me know.-LB BAR Staff Observations: Maya needed a reminder that we don't do small plates to go unless the patron wants to pack the stuff up themselves. I went over it with her.  Lydia got out of here at 8pm after a thorough restock and preparing both bars for the night.-LB Greg wanted to communicate that we should be mentioning there are "daily specials" to guests in the lobby about Trees lounge rather than sa...

Sunday 6/1/25 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: It feels like there needs to be better communication when something breaks in the building so the next folks have an idea how to fix it. I think this is possibly just a recent phenomenon since we have had the internet outage. Everything seems so tenuous and in the busy moments it feels a bit more chaotic than it needs to.  I am uncertain if any of this is related to our hardware, Cervion, Mobilebytes, or the sockets, perhaps it is time to consider Toast?  I would love a tutorial on more interactive POS fixes so I can help in these instances since the burden feels like it falls on Floor, but having extra hands never hurts.-LB I know I am partial to Toast and this is because I have more expertise on it, I know the benefits it would provide. I do think an open-minded exploration of options to fix the current issues would be a really positive move to optimize the current system. -LB Started doc for our input/wishlist for new dumbwaiter/bar prep transition.-L...
