Manager Communication: The Trees ice machine is down for the count, waiting on Dio.  The Lobby ice machine said "thin ice" around 6. I reset the machine (code 8). It then gave code 2, max harvest when I went down to see how it was an hour later. This is likely due to the environmental factors like barometric pressure and humidity. However I do think we might need to consider dehumidifiers to help these machines function. This is unlike anything I have ever seen, humidity-wise and I think it will make new and fun problems for the bar department. -LB
So I unplugged the bug light and put the small air mover at the ice machine in the lobby. It is having issues and the fans aren't spinning.  Machines will start to malfunction all over the place when another thing is wrong. I don't know if the water source for theater 7 spout might have something to do with this issue, but just wanted to flag. Hopefully Dio can come early and get stuff moving, I will troubleshoot as soon as I get in tomorrow.-LB
Jenn if you can communicate to bar team to slice orange and grapefruit wedges thicker. -LB
Carly if you can remind servers/runners to keep water cups out of grey racks. It happened a lot today, I know it is a new system but it will help. Thanks.-LB

Lauren really shouldered some extra load tonight as I have been feeling rather poorly since family meal. She made sure everything was ready to go for Trivia and helped with the Matrix rush. I took occasional breaks, but have just been lethargic while experiencing stomach cramping. I did my best to stick it out, but got out of here right before last call at Trees lounge. Dion was a hero and made sure to collect everything from the bars so I could split. Sorry to duck out a little early, but I wanna try to sleep this off as much as possible before I have to be up early for the Jurassic World screening tomorrow. - IP

Not, as it turns out, a full moon tonight, but I guess no one told the guests that! LOTS of weird energy tonight, but the team handled it all with grace and humor. - IP

BAR Staff Observations: Bar team all around supporting one another and just taking initiative to get what is needed. Glad to see we can swap people out of a busy Tuesday like no big deal.-LB

Team crushed - Natasha is maybe the best service industry professional I've ever worked with. She marshalled the floor for trivia like she'd been doing it every week for years. Super busy service pass coupled with trivia could have been dicey, but the team was aces. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Kat continues to be a really strong member of the team. She even helped out Natasha tonight with some deep POS knowledge. Great job! - IP

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
