Manager Communication: Really great hand off from blog, thanks Jenn!
I am storing the lids for the pots on the shelf with cambros and boxed glassware, because I don't think DOH would be into current location. -LB
I echo what Jenn said about the 16 oz plastic cups. This is an absolute upgrade in functional service. Thank you to everyone who made it happen. We may find we feel like we have less racks when bussing, if that is the case the runners can just stack dirty 16 oz cups and bring to dish pit. I think this is really only an issue during peak soda consumption hours.-LB
Very busy day here and really smooth service. Cutting Tevon earlier than expected since Trees is snoozy this Father's day. -LB

Lately I have noticed a lot of people accidentally coming to Trees that were trying to access theaters ADA entrance.  Perhaps we refine the signage, for some patrons, extra movement can be challenging. -LB

Trying to reinforce Trees to make sure they have roll ups for the day, but unfortunately a few times today there were no knives to be found. I don't know if we need more, but in these situations, is it acceptable to do roll-ups with just forks in the meantime for Trees? I just want to make sure we can accommodate as many guests as possible when these issues arise. -LB

BAR Staff Observations:
Oooheee. Busy first round, Tevon knocked it out. Greg came in hot and helped restock both bars for popping service. Maya did a banging job opening today, she was fast and on top of things, very happy to see it.-LB
Gave Fran a reminder to not be on personal phone in Lobby bar and to keep vibes facing out in a welcoming manner. I got his new hire quiz back.-LB

Team was great for a very busy, rainy Sunday. Maya held down lobby until Fran got settled - Greg popped downstairs to help out during the family meal kerfuffle, and later supported Fran for the sold out first floor evening round. Jericho and Jeshua are automatic behind the bar. Service runs smoothly and the patrons are well taken care of. Made light work of a busy Sunday. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Sam is just engaged all the time and on top of everything, huge fan of hers. Sunday morning server crew is pretty sick in general. (like good sick)-LB

Michael Melandro is wonderful. So flexible about any snafus or requests. I always appreciate working with him.  - IP

Timothy did a great job handling an agitated woman in the lobby who was clearly not interested in purchasing a ticket. He kept her away from the guests waiting in line and calmly found a way to get her to leave on her own accord. - IP

Sick Leave/ Call outs:
Natasha has to put down a dog she helped raise and care for today, so she got Tevon to cover since it was too busy to go without a mid.  I really appreciate her finding the cover.  -LB

86ed / counts on items: down to the last bag of coffee beans.-LB

86 Ohana until Guava comes in to finish batch in walk-in. - IP

Prep List: Lots of stuff batched thank you. I started off with infinity, tea and honey syrup.-LB

FOR TOMORROW: Simple syrup, Unsweetened Iced Tea, OF Keg,

Over/Short on Banks:
Lobby bank was inexplicably $5 short - Fran said that he broke some larger bills down for servers, but first had to make change out of the Filmbot drawer. I told him to always keep those drawers fully independent of eachother in the future - it's possible when he was making change he just miscounted - but not sure. - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US foods bringing just lime juice. Baldor coming, Ariel sent you the list. -LB
Kitchen took our sugar Friday, so Nick is adding a bag for us for tomorrow, no need to do transfer on craftable.-LB

Maintenance: It is really cool when machines work. -LB

Mobilebytes Issues: Strange issue with a Jameson Triple triple being ordered from a theater, has to be a mistake or a search, but no Jameson cold brew and triple triple are in the POS, those are not stocked nor are they on the backbar at trees nor on the menu. I have 86ed them in the time being.-LB

Filmbot Issues:
So Greg spilled a water cup into the Filmbot printer at some point this evening. The printer proceeded to stop working. I wasn't sure what to do, so I ended up unplugging everything, taking the printer itself, opening it and placing it in front of the fan in the lobby to dry. After about an hour (during which Fran, Greg, Dion and Myself made sure that anyone who needed tickets at the box office had them either sent electronically, or we hand-wrote tickets with all of the pertinent info), I plugged the printer back in. It turned back on, but still had an error message. I fiddled with the interior compartment, and took out a small plastic insert on the inner side - when I tried putting the paper back in and closing the lid, the printer turned back on, spat out some test paper, and has been working fine since. I still think we should have a backup printer for just such an occasion, but for the time being, it seems everything is fixed. Someone with better working knowledge of the Filmbot specific printer should take a look as well. - IP
