Manager Communication: 

Nice crowd at Trees throughout the night, lots of guests at both bars, with service slowing down a little after eleven. JH

Customer Comments:

Two of Bruce's guests in the 6:00pm Materialists came to Trees to close out early around 7:15/7:20pm.  When I was closing them out I asked them how their experience was and they told me that as a couple that come here pretty regularly, they were very disappointed in the quality of service they received.  

To sum it up, one guest had written a note for a mezcal Negroni, and Bruce checked with the bar if we could accommodate (we don't) and then let the guests know.  The guest then said she would take a neat pour of Siete Misterios and a Tecate.  Bruce forgot to ring the order in (estimated 20-30 min) until a little after seven when the guests wrote a flag asking about their order.  Unfortunately, that was when Th1 was in the middle of its initial service push, so by the time the drinks were trayed, the guests had already left the theater.  

I apologized for the inconvenience, and they were pretty understanding, so I gave them some yellow passes and told them we hoped to see them again in the near future.  It was ticket X9. JH

BAR Staff Observations: 

Easygoing service this evening, even with the bar crowd at Trees remaining pretty consistent.  Jeshua got out of here once the first floor settled down and all second round screenings were underway, and Matthew stuck around until the last round in Th2 tickets slowed down at the service pass.  Gabrielle and Jeshua closed each bar without issue. Special Events? 

Tech went long for the pre-screening performance in the last round of Th2, ultimately pushing us back thirty minutes.  Gabrielle and I kept Trees open for a quick one-and-done last call as Th2 let out. JH

Prep List:

Zombie should be batched before doors tomorrow, and there is enough Don's Mix in the walk-in to make a double batch. JH

Used the last of the ricotta-washed Lillet Rose to make a Rose of Versailles cheater.  We still have Lillet Rose in-house.  Do we want to make another batch, or should we just run through the cheater we have left in the run up to menu change? JH

Lost & Found: 

A set of keys were left behind at lobby bar.  They may have been left by one of the guys who was in to check out the Th7 water station, but we don't know for sure. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 

Baldor and To Rise arriving tomorrow.  US Foods arriving Friday. JH

Mobilebytes Issues: 

There was a routing issue that backed up drink service for Th2's last round, but everyone worked hard to get things back on track and service was fine afterwards.  I'm sure FOH Blog will go into more detail. JH
