Manager Communication:
A busy busy brunch turned into a busy busy evening, with most theaters selling out throughout the day.  Sinners, Lilo & Stitch, Friendship, and Mission Impossible are all holding on strong, and all of our newer movies are selling well, too.  Also, Trees was bopping all day, and had a crowd at the bar and tables all the way up until 11:30pm. JH

BAR Staff Observations:
When I came in around five, both bars were in the thick of it with regards to theater service.  The back-to-back sold out seatings in Th1/2/4/6 in the third round was nonstop, but service went incredibly well.  Matthew did the world's greatest restock for lobby before getting out, to the point that neither Fran nor Jeshua needed to restock lobby for the rest of service.  Greg was a champ and stuck around until everyone had a chance to eat family meal, which was enormously helpful due to that 5 o'clock dinner round crunch.

Fran floated back down to lobby by 5:30pm, and was able to get out of here around eight.  He's really settling in to the flow of service, and is engaged with both guests and staff.  And Jeshua, as ever, was the champion of lobby bar until first floor was routed, needing barely any assistance from myself or the rest of bar team at all.

Gabrielle, Lydia, and Patrick also crushed an absolutely slammed Trees Lounge, both at the bar and at the service pass.  Everyone was really great about shifting into different service positions throughout the evening, and I definitely noticed all bartenders being much more proactive about getting out to bus the floor and touch tables and restock glassware.  Gabrielle got us batched up on some essentials before getting out of here, and both Lydia and Patrick closed Trees without issue.  Overall an outstanding team for a very busy Saturday, tokens for all. JH

FOH Staff Observations:
Sabrina really held it down at Trees all night, always running trays to other theaters and running glassware through the washer at Trees.  Isobel and Siete were also Trees service pass superstars. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Found a good deal of mushy tape clogging the drain at the Trees dishpit - let's make some friendly reminders to please be removing the tape from containers before washing them. - IP

It came up a few times tonight, and I'll definitely mention it in this week's bar email, but not all kitchen tickets labeled 'staff' are for clocked-in employees.  A couple of calls came through for staff food/kitchen pick up for folks who were clocked out and sitting at the bar.  I was able to catch them, but could definitely see this getting missed and leaving the food to get cold.  I will reiterate to bartenders that they must use the staff food/kitchen pick up button on MB for the appropriate tickets, so that there are no ring-in mix ups. JH

This was my first very busy shift since we introduced the plastic cups for n/a beverages, and I have never seen such smooth glassware restocking all night.  Servers and runners were really great about pre-bussing and getting those racks down to Trees, so neither bar ever had to scramble for glassware mid-service. JH

Prep List:
Looking good to start the day tomorrow.  There is an unfinished Ohana batch in the walk in, just waiting for more guava puree to come in (ordered for Monday). JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Received Saratoga and almond/oat milks from To Rise. - IP
Received Southern order - order was shy one case of Dry Curacao, we got three instead of four - otherwise all accounted for. - IP
Received small Baldor order. - IP

Maintenance:
I had to unclog the floor drain underneath the dishpit in Trees. It was really gross - I let Vlad know to give all the floor drains a check and to debride them if necessary. Noted it on the maintenance doc just in case. - IP

Filmbot Issues:
MubiGo passes currently require a Manager Pin.  I emailed Conrad, so hopefully it will be updated tomorrow. JH
