Manager Communication:
Trying to make sure we order the dishpit nozzle, I consulted Gil, who told me to ask Matty. Matty is gonna take a look and says he may have a piece.  BOOM Matty fixed it for us!!!-LB
Ariel, just a heads up, we have been storing the tea in the walk-in on the bottom shelf with all the other NA drinks.-LB
I went to look for Cambros in the kitchen and noticed some more of our carafes. I spoke with Jenn about letting the bar team know in this week's email that opening lobby bartender can take a look when sweeping kitchen for other items. Bar managers, also just keep an eye. They end up on the top shelf to the left of the kitchen dishpit.-LB

So we keep gettin more piles of events waters that intermingle in the exceptional organization in the liquor room, done by Ian. Jeremy snagged us an aluminum riser so we can keep them in one place grabbable by events staff etc. -LB
Teamwork makes the dreamwork. Everyone helped today happen.-LB

Lots of dumb machine error today but we all came together and got through it. Ice machines are both seemingly operational for the time being. At the time of my writing this, they both are functioning and making ice for tomorrow morning. The CO2 compressor that was leaking is continuing to leak, and I unplugged it after we completed service. Lauren knows to check tomorrow, hopefully Coke can get a tech out. We had a snafu with the door lock on the office door tonight - we ended up having to call a locksmith and once they swung by we were back in business. The office door is currently not lockable, but everything has been secured in the safe. - IP

BAR Staff Observations: The team was really helpful with the soda issue. As always they roll with whatever comes their way. They all deserve shout outs. Working smoothly together.-LB
Trees is busy and fun. Had 4 bartenders working from 6:30pm to cover theater rush and Trees business.-LB

Seconded for evening crew. Lauren went full MacGyver and got the CO2 leak plugged up enough to use the soda gun at Trees for the evening's service, which was absolutely necessary. Jeshua made a good note about making sure that anyone closing please don't forget about underneath the glassracks in the dri-decks. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:
Lol, Jeremy get pulling tickets for Theater 4 and Natasha let them know it was not well tolerated. A fun exchange to watch. -LB

Jose is a real asset to Nitehawk. Really cares about supporting his team. - IP

Special Events?
ST&B: All Ages in Th1 went well, nearly sold out.  We have enough of the ST&B drinks in the walk-in that we will not need to batch anything for the next one. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
system for making sure cheaters have back ups for Trees cocktails.-LB
Cleaning project idea!-LB
In Bryan's absence the bar team doesn't stock back ups as thoroughly. I can try to assign a hawkish eye to this task during a regular open shift to this, or perhaps during inventory of Trees a small back up needed list could be made.-LB

Prep List: Tevon got us an OF keg, double Tycoon, buncha Lemonades, Infinity and beyond. Ian made a double date orgeat.-LB
I quick batched 2 for closers only cheaters.-LB

Bars are fully stocked and ready for tomorrow morning - but there will be some batching to do tomorrow. Will def need Thermo Core - otherwise should be good at least until someone has a second to take stock. - IP

Pay Outs:
$40 Kitchen trail

$380 - 7475 (Locksmith)

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Baldor & Sarene arrived this morning. JH
Placed a Webstaurant order for some large cambros and water cups, both are in short supply today.-LB

Maintenance:
CO2 alarm for the soda closet was going off when Gil got in.  Gil called NUCO, but their tank appears to be fine, with the leak coming through the soda stack.  We contacted Coca-Cola (service number: 31690293) and they have marked us as high priority and a tech will come check it out, but they unfortunately were unable to provide an ETA. JH
I gerryrigged the CO2 leak for dinner service. I taped off the part of the compressor we suspect to be leaking and also put a bag over the apparatus that does regulate pressure. That way if it is leaking a lot it should fill the bag fairly apparently. I am going to show Ian to unplug it at night's end. I will replug in the morning. -LB

Compressor unplugged - will need to be checked tomorrow morning. - IP

The ice machine at Trees was being a little wonky again this morning.  It did not make much ice overnight because the sensor was reading the bin as full when it was not.  I reset it and it began to make ice without issue, but then had the same sensor issue about an hour later.  After another reset, it resumed making ice and we left the cover off so we could keep eyes on the display panel in the top left corner.  Lauren reached out to Gus to let him know that we may have to reach out to the ice medic again. JH
The ice machine has steadily gotten worse since I got in at 1 and reset the machine. I also repositioned the grey flap a bit.  The inside of the machine is quite warm, so unsure if this is an indication it is more serious. Hopefully it will crank all night.-LB
Update we got a code 4 or 8 (one code was for the lobby machine), which is about the discharge heat being too high. We turned it off for a bit. This could be a matter of the service pass area is just too hot or lacks circulation to help the machine.-LB
The lobby machine was giving code 4 (I think thin ice) and we rebooted it. It is dropping ice as of 8:40pm.-LB
Trees ice machine turned itself back on. It still thinks the bin is full, I got all up in there and hopefully cleared the sensor. Ian will make sure it is on and tilt the air mover toward it.-LB

As mentioned above, both ice machines are currently operational, and there is a floor fan pointed at the guts of the Trees machine. Hopefully that keeps it cool enough until we can figure out wtf is actually going on! - IP
