Tuesday 12.31.24 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication: New Year's Rockin' Eve indeed. Jenn knocked out a ton of batching which was CLUTCH because that was not the end of batching! I put away all the cases in the liquor room (OF Rye is now in front of OF Bourbon, as requested!) and also the soda delivery which came around 7:00p, and when there was a moment to breathe at the Trees service pass I got to setting up product for tomorrow AM. - IP BAR Staff Observations:  Darius and Lydia opened both bars without issue, and sailed through the first round.  When Patrick got in for his midshift the bigger theaters had a bit of a lull, which gave both bars ample time to reset for the late round. JH The last round was positively HUMMIN', and everyone rose to the occasion. Maya has rehearsal during the week and her in time can be no earlier than 6:30 - this has been discussed and approved, but had not been updated on 7Shifts, therefore if it looks as though Maya clocked in late, that was not her error. Lydia absolute...

Monday 12/30/24 Gus/Lauren

Manager Communication: Strong team. Gil. Wyatt. Carly. Daniella. Lots of spirit. Lots of fight. It was really busy. Customers and tickets just kept coming, but so did we. Great communication. -GS So I fell down the stairs to Theater 5 service station when I went to reroute the printer back. I am uncertain if it was my general oafishness, my bell bottoms or the top step's friction tape being a little peeled back (someone should check on this). I am fine, likely will have some bruising but I am an expert faller as I have been this gifted my entire life. And fortunately my pants did not split open when I fell into a split, probably funny footage though.-LB Customer Comments: Some definite characters today.  *There was a group in Trees- Gore was the tab. They had a stroller and two scooters in between the bathroom and the elevator in Trees. This isn't near the first time they have been asked to put their stroller in the proper place, nor the first time they were hanging out past ch...

Sunday 12.29.24 Gus/Lauren

Manager Communication: There was some loud noises coming from mezzanine so I did a lap. There are a bunch of young looking folks, some with beers, some with empties.  Jeshua IDed the ones that bought drinks but as we don't have real oversight to the mezzanine I asked the kids without ID to leave. I told Nick and asked him to do a walk through ten minutes after I did. I am going to make a laminated sign for the mezz stairwell stating "No one under 21 permitted on mezzanine after 7pm." I think this will better protect our liquor license. I think having a mirror so the bar staff can see what goes on up there would also help. Bar staff have mentioned this in the blog over the past month repeatedly and some guidance or help would be appreciated. I hope I am not overstepping with this signage, but I do think it is an important situation to address.-LB The sign I made and posted is very shoddily attached to the framed information on the art organization. I am happy to make a per...

Saturday 12.28.2024 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: BIG Baldor order - lots and lots of Saratoga. Had a little spill and two cases of sparkling water fell off the handtruck - only two bottles actually broke, and everything was totally fine. Rebecca and I got the building open and Matthew and Natasha were rockstars for the opening push.  Stewart hooked me up with 6 inch skewers and is aware we need bev naps for Trees Lounge. Jeremy tracked down some for me, but we probably need more. -LB I threw out a teen that was hanging in Trees mezz at 9:15 pm. I IDed two people playing pool who also looked quite young. One of them only had a photo of their ID. I let them finish their game then asked them to leave. I do think we need to address this issue as it can potentially put our liquor license in jeopardy. A mirror that faces upstairs that the bartenders can see would alleviate a lot of the clandestine vibes that people trying to fly under the radar enjoy. -LB I unpacked new glassware, some liquor boxes and the new st...

Friday /12.27.24 Jenn, Ian & Ariel / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: Jenn filled me in on what needed to be made / kept eyes on for the day and I got started on some batching after counting the banks. Rebecca and Jared opened up the building and we were well covered to start the day. - IP I tried the Project Shadow today and I think it should be strained while batching since it is pretty pulpy. I strained the one in the walk-in and updated the sheet and updated bar prep binder to have it strained. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Brian and Tevon crushed their openings. It was mucho busy and they flew their ships solo - great work. - IP Was able to get Bryan and Tevon out of here after the second round settled down. - AB2 Matthew and Natasha crushed it in Tree's with no issues through the rushes. - AB2 Gabrielle was great in Lobby solo. - AB2 FOH Staff Observations: Caleb is really awesome about helping out when the team is shorthanded or things are particularly hairy. Did a great job during a busy day time service. - IP 86ed / co...

12.26.24 Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication: Really busy first round. Think we were a little think in certain places so lots of active management was happening. BAR Staff Observations:  Bryan and Tevon stuck around until the third round was underway, and left both bars stocked up.  Jeshua handled Lobby solo, and Matthew and Natasha managed a busy Trees crowd and service pass without issue. JH Staff Meeting Agenda notes:  Since we are phasing out Mr. Black, will we be serving Borghetti cereal shots at ST&B instead?  We may need to give them a heads up, and should update the MB button if so. JH Prep List:  Margarita keg needs to be made tomorrow. JH Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Union Baldor Finnback T Edward    Mobilebytes Issues:  Borghetti needs a button on MB. JH

12.25.24 Gus/Lauren

Manager Communication: The office door was propped open with no one in it with the cash box drawer open in sight. around 7:55pm/ perhaps a reminder that we still need to act like it locks.-LB BAR Staff Observations: Matthew and Natasha are studs. We were a tad shorthanded- you'd never know it. They just crushed it. Matthew and Natasha are killer at teamwork. They stayed to support their coworkers until almost 8pm.-LB Jeshua, who notoriously walkies for MOD at Lobby bar, didn't walkie for me and left the bar unattended. I would have gone right down from Trees to cover for him. -LB Patrick is amazing and is just now restocking Trees lounge at 12:04. Their teamwork is absolutely essential and they treat each other so well.-LB Patrick stayed to close with Lydia because he is an absolute gem.-LB FOH Staff Observations: Rebecca is a beast. Kaya seems really awesome Daniella helped get us dishes through the dishpit when we were scrambling during the chaotically busy 9-10pm seatings. ...

Tuesday 12.24 Jenn

Manager Communication:  Pretty laidback Christmas Eve, with a slow start in the larger theaters.  Second and third round definitely filled out a bit more.  Trees had a pretty nice crowd from around 6-8, and then began to clear out once all of the last round movies were seated.  Customer Comments:  Had a guest in the 6:15pm Wicked in Th5 who got pretty upset about not being able to get a refund for three of her six tickets, after three of her party did not show up.  I explained how e-credits work, but she was adamant that her server and the Lobby bartender had used the word 'refund,' not 'exchange.'  I apologized if anyone misspoke earlier, and reiterated the credit policy.  Ultimately, she received a credit for all six tickets, as she did not want to sit in the front row of Th5.  Just a heads up, in case she reaches out for a refund by email.  BAR Staff Observations:  Really great team tonight, they made it look easy.  Gabriel...

Monday 12.23.2024 Ian/Gus

Manager Communication: Gil and I opened up the building with no issue. Pretty good numbers across the board, but nothing crazy until It's a Wonderful Life  tonight at 8:45. - IP Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Brian and Darius opened to a pretty busy first round. 2/3/7 all had big numbers and both bars easily crushed the rushes. I threw together a double batch of cacao water and a Project Shadow before service started. - IP Maya is a boss of the lobby bar. Great teamwork tonight. -GS FOH Staff Observations: Cate always has good energy -GS Special Events? It's a Wonderful Life special screening at 8:45. Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Prep List: Tevon and I batched a lot Double Old Fashioned 3 FWWM 3 Lemonade 1 Big thing of simple  -GS Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor order was received and put away (sugar, peach and passionfruit purees, tart cherry, cacao nibs). - IP I ordered more juice and Tajin from Baldor, arriving tomorrow.  -GS Okay so there was a bit of...

Sunday 12.22.2024 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I got the building open easy peasy. First round was super chill, giving us plenty of time to get properly set up for the very busy ELF screening. Ticket sales grew incrementally, but not enough where we felt like we needed more hands. - IP Ian caught me up on the day and left me all stocked up in a great place for the evening.-LB I don't know where our straws come from, but I feel like people on the whole do not like them. I had been ordering agave straws from Sysco at my other job and they are pretty excellent. -LB Customer Comments:   A lovely gentleman in the lobby complemented the wine he got and was super happy with the size and the glass. Chenin Blanc for the win. Everyone else in the lobby is nuts.-LB BAR Staff Observations: Tevon and Matthew are absolute pros. Got the bars opened and rolling with no issue. Brian came in at 12:30 and got Trees stocked up after the ELF rush began to die down. - IP Openers were great and out of here a litt...

Saturday 12.21 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication:  Really lovely brunch today, steadily busy, but never overwhelming.  Elf led the way in the morning and  Sonic ticket sales steadily grew throughout the day. JH Steadiness continued into the evening. Large but manageable ticket numbers and a good sized crowd at trees most of the night - including a large party that hosted an impromptu birthday gathering on the mezz. They brought a cake, and fortunately I got up there right in time to make sure they did not light their candles. I kindly asked them to shoot us an email next time they want to bring in a cake or anything, they were very understanding and assured me they would do so in the future. All good!  - IP BAR Staff Observations:  Tevon was a champ at Lobby this morning, and was able to get out of here shortly after four.  Natasha did a great job running Trees for the morning, and was able to get out of here once all closers were in. JH  Downstairs was well-sold but mellow, s...

Friday 12.20 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication: Please try adding the amount of servings per first run special batch.-LB I put away all the baldor stuff. Restocked cold wine as the shelves were close to bare. We should try to get flats so the bottles stop falling over come January, I think this change would facilitate the system.-LB It would be great if whomever uses or takes the last bar rag in the liquor room would replenish the supply. I was cleaning out the empty kegs and water got all over the floor because I had to run it to get hot water, the hose flipped out of the sink basin.  And there is no porter late on Friday night. Those empty kegs are upside down in the bar prep sink.-LB I took the blue key that was hanging on the cork board Rebecca. Also, is there a document that has Matthew's number in case of issues like the office door in the future?-LB We could put the Vodka Glindade as the mystery cocktail to unload it quickly, since the LPP is not perishable. I also think we could do a cute frizzante...

Thursday 12/19/2024 Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication:  As always a quick cameo by Gus to grab stuff and run it to Williamsburg.  We need a new thermal printer possibly at Trees. It is printing very pale. -LB Gus and I discussed trying a protocol out where we input the drink count for batches for the first run specials. We need to be diligent to make sure when batched they are entered. If this system seems useful we can launch it for other batches as well to make sure we aren't over-batching. -LB I am going to need a new master key since mine broke in the door. I am closing tomorrow night. I suppose I can use the bar's key, but if there is one around please lmk. -LB BAR Staff Observations:  When Gus and I did Maya's review, she mentioned that it would be great if we could give the Trees staff memos when they open if there are events that day. It can change how they prep for the day.-LB Special Events?  Had the 14th Street Block Holiday Party at Trees tonight, and boy oh boy do the hosts like to sho...

Wednesday 12/18/2024 Ian/Lauren/Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Learning the way of the film feast on the fly.-LB BAR Staff Observations:  Matthew got out of here just as FF was beginning, and Jeshua was great back up support when it came to ice refills and setting out trays.  Gabrielle and Tevon ran upstairs without me all evening, and Tevon got out of here as we were sliding into the third round of service.  Both Gabrielle and Jeshua closed each bar without issue. JH FOH Staff Observations:  Massive shout out to Dani and James holding down the floor while I was otherwise occupied with FF service.  Really smooth sailing throughout the night. JH Special Events?  Film Feast. -LB Film Feast service went swimmingly, all rounds looked and tasted great :D Gus and Lauren both got to help prep and send some of the earlier rounds out, so everyone got a chance to get into the FF groove.  Definitely had a service pop up at Trees once Th3 emptied post-screening, so I hopped behind the bar to make ...

Tuesday 12/17/24 Lauren/Gus/Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication: Copious communication regarding oat milk.-LB Sarene is spelled Serene in Bevager, if I can figure out how to change that I will.-LB Customer Comments: There was a table at trivia this evening that brought a small dog with them. The woman explained that the dog was a service animal and had the proper documentation - I did not ask to see the documents, and expected everything to be fine. About halfway through trivia, the "service" dog nipped at Maya' ankles. Maya was a little shaken up and took a break from the floor. We considered asking the table to leave, but Maya insisted it would be fine to let them stay for the remainder of trivia as long as I handled the table from then on. Everything ended up being fine, but I just wanted to make sure that Maya felt as supported as possible. - IP   The lovely couple that owns Al's stopped by and I had an idea to sell Al's to go in the summertime to people going to the park.  If we are also able to do p...

Monday 12.16 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  Very mellow first round, but second round seemed to have an uptick in sales, even with the mist and rain outside.  JH It is fairly common for the floor in front of the sinks in the Trees Lounge bathroom to get wet as women turn to get paper towels. I think putting one of the thin rain weather rugs in there would be helpful. I know when it is truly wet to let a porter know, I just think this would mitigate anyone slipping.-LB I really wish Tito's made full human size sweaters.  Just saying.-LB I just remembered the cutest decoration, which I made for my other popcorn serving job, is popcorn garland. It is a pain but adorable. -LB Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Everyone was killing it today. Very good vibes among staff for a spooky, misty darkness. I hope this weather comes back for Nosferatu. -LB FOH Staff Observations: Justine came to me at Trees asking for dollars for quarters so I traded 2. I had a transaction earlier in the evening...

12.15.2025 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: I put up a Saturday night fever tree in Trees Lounge and a Glinda Tree in lobby bar. These are my trees and will be taking them home after the holidays. -LB Daniella mentioned wanting to trail me for a shift. She was trying to do it when other managers were here but they left. I think it is a good idea so if we are short or there is something she can help with. More knowledge works for me. Let me know if we can set this up.-LB I think the Christmas lights in Trees look very pretty and we should consider having them on the upstairs railing and on that tree year round. -LB BAR Staff Observations: Bryan and Matthew were great openers this morning. They powered through the early rounds solo and then when Patrick came in at 1:30 they continued to crush. Miguel did not show up today, so I jumped in to help at lobby bar a couple times when things got particularly hairy. The team was yet again excellent shorthanded. - IP FOH Staff Observations: What abour Erika for Floo...

Saturday 12/14/2024 Gus/Ian

Manager Communication: Steady day today capped off with a lovely wedding reception in Trees. Gus got us all batched up and started a new batch of Tarragon Gin that I strained and bottled at the end of the night.  Had good floor manager presence when I got in too - Gil, Carly and Wyatt were takin' care of business. - IP BAR Staff Observations: We were shorthanded because of Miguel's absence, but as always, our Saturday crew rose above it. Matthew rocked the lobby solo until Patrick came in and Nat, Gab and then Lydia and Jeshua did an excellent job in a busy trees lounge and a pretty busy event. Extra bonus points to Matthew for sticking around in the lobby a little longer than expected to get some garnishes and small stuff ready for the busy Trees service. - IP Sick Leave/ Call outs: Miguel no-call/no-showed today. Gus was on top of handling the situation. - IP Special Events? The wedding reception was a smash! Medium sized group, but large size drinkers! They very much took ad...

Friday 12.13.24 Gus/Jenn/Ariel

Manager Communication: I bought Christmas Lights and Gift wrap and set it up in Trees around the tree and the stair railings. There are some wrapped boxes under the Tree but I think we can add more and I won't be here till after Christmas so I'll leave it to 'all. Lauren could you wrap some of the gifts up with film like the ones downstairs? - AB2 Great night tonight. Not crazy busy but busy enough. Got Bryan and Tevon out of here around 8:30ish. Matthew and Natasha killed it in Tree's and Gabrielle crushed it solo in Lobby with Dwight being very helpful. - AB2 Customer Comments: We had a crew come in late that has a book club here. They come often and always tip well. I gave them 4 tokens after tipping $40.00 on an $80.00 tab. They come often and are just such cool peeps. BAR Staff Observations: Great night tonight. Not crazy busy but busy enough. Got Bryan and Tevon out of here around 8:30ish. Matthew and Natasha killed it in Tree's and Gabrielle crushed it solo i...

Thursday 12/12/24 Addition Yo! Lauren/ Gus

Manager Communication: Matthew and Rebecca were discussing the need to reiterate and solidify staffs understanding of comp codes. So Rebecca showed me the doc. I printed two copies and laminated them for each bar for reference. -LB Lauren stayed late tonight working on the Nosferatu drink. Its looking good. I am now an invoice logging machine!!-LB Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Great teamwork tonight. Jeshua in Lobby closing, Natasha and Matthew held it down in Trees. Tevon did a bunch of batching. I was able to bang out a good chunk of inventory -GS FOH Staff Observations: Hiring/Training: Sick Leave/ Call outs: Special Events? Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 86ed / counts on items: Down to the last bit of Al's, the company is out of stock right now.-LB Prep List: Tornado wrangler. Need to do Princes of Maine, Traveling companions, PST.  R&D comp checks: Over/Short on Banks: Pay Outs: I bought wrapping paper for decorations and have lost receipt from too many ...

Wednesday 12.11.2025 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: I placed my first Baldor order. -LB There is the new apple sass cordial in the walk-in. There is one that says Apple Sass 10/25. Unsure if that is the same product.  -LB I asked Chef Nick to add me to US Foods account. Have not received that activation yet. Will communicate order to Gus/Jenn.-LB Started off the day giving Vlad the rundown on how to remove and clean the drain catches in the floor drains. He's on going through all of the dumpsink drains and floordrains that have been giving us trouble. Lauren and I put away the large liquor order and stacked and organized the glut of kegs in the walk-in. Even though Ariel was out today,we all made a great team. - IP Customer Comments: I was alerted that a guest left a flag after a screening that said that their lip had been cut on a chip in the rim of a wine glass. The guest did not ask to speak to anyone, just left the flag and left after their movie. We will be more vigilant at the pass regarding potentially...

Tuesday 12.10.2024 Gus/Ian/Jenn

Manager Communication: Came in a little before 10 and got all the machines nice and sparkling, and then moved onto some more floor drainage resolution. I showed Juan where the drain was clogging under the Th 2 dump sink, and he got in there and unclogged it. I did the same for the floor drain under the beer taps in Lobby Bar. Hopefully this will decrease the regularity with which  BAR Staff Observations:  Bryan stuck around to restock both bars, cover closers for breaks, and helped out at Trees when theater service and Trivia were popping off, and then was able to get out of here.  Darius, Maya, and Tevon ran Trivia like true professionals, and Lydia held down lobby without issue. Sick Leave/ Call outs: Lauren called out sick this morning. Feel better!! Special Events?  Trivia was bopping as usual, which kept Trees packed and busy throughout the evening. JH Prep List:  Made some more Apple Sarsparilla Cordial, which is all in the walk in as it was too warm for s...

Monday / 12.09.24 Ariel & Jenn / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: We got a whole bunch of cases of water today (Poland Springs). They are in the liquor room in the corner next to the boxes of wine in case anyone from events asks (aka the homies Chenelle & Raekwon). - AB2 Dinner round was bopping throughout the building.  Good Will Hunting led the way in sales for the last round, which was a bit more mellow by comparison. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Easygoing team tonight.  Was able to get openers out of here a little bit earlier than last week as Wicked wasn't sold out for all screenings, which was appreciated.  Both Patrick and Tevon closed down each bar without issue. JH Special Events? Moved three 24-packs of Poland Spring into the walk in for tomorrow morning's school screening. JH    Prep List: I made - 2 Firewalks - Negroni - AB2 Prepped eight bottles of Tarragon Gin. JH Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: We received a Baldor and US Foods order today. - AB2  Baldor arriving tomorrow. JH

Sunday 12.08 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Jeshua and Bryan were excellent at Trees tonight for multiple sold out rounds and a pretty steady bar crowd all night. We had some gl...

Saturday 12.07 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication: Hope Lauren feels better soon! Today ended up working out fine despite the lateness issues from Lydia - we had a minute where Jenn put on her hero cape and jumped behind the bar to help finish out a busy crush of Wicked drink tickets, but after that, when Lydia arrived, service was smooth. - IP BAR Staff Observations:  The team has really found their groove with these busy showings. Aside from Lydia arriving well over an hour late, they were extremely good tonight. Darius was too - he seemed more focused and willing to jump in at the pass or to help a guest. Gab was a rockstar at the pass in the changeover from openers to closers - perfect mid-shift. Natasha was the real MVP as she held it down at Trees until Lydia arrived and then she went to the back and batched a TON. - IP Sick Leave/ Call outs:  Lauren was brought down by the NPPlague, so was out sick today. JH  Not a call out, but a very delayed arrival.  Lydia got stuck in Long Island due...

Friday 12.6.24 / Gus, Lauren, & Ariel / NPP

Manager Communication: We have a lot of people that come into Tree's and head straight upstairs. I think we should start IDing everyone that just goes up there. I know plenty of bartenders do but sometimes people end up getting by. I went up to check everyone's ID up there today after Natasha asked everyone for ID's but most kept walking up. I would like to prevent teens/20 year olds from thinking they can just come in here and hangout IF most of them are not getting anything. I am unsure of exactly what our policy is here in Tree's. Do we have a certain time where we no longer allow people under 21? After looking over our theater policies for a refresher I see we no longer allow anyone 17 and under into the theaters without a parent or guardian. Is no longer allowing guests under 21 into Tree's after 7 out of the question? I do not see anything that specifies policies for the bars on the website. I feel like this is all common sense so forgive me but while Lo-Res i...

Thursday 12.05 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: Great crew tonight. Jenn and I got to touch base. Jared rules. James was really on it and Wyatt closed this place down. It was a great night. Customer Comments: Some of the lobby people can come in hot. Hats off to the bar team for rolling with the it and taking things in stride. BAR Staff Observations: Jeshua killed it tonight. Love that guy. He took over service well and like made this little set up for Spoons and just owned the space. It was great. Even Tevon mentioned just how up on it he was. Game ball goes to Jeshua. FOH Staff Observations: Kedzie rules. Just great attitude and very funny. Sick Leave/ Call outs: Special Events? DJ set. John Woods brought the guys who brought the thunder. They were so low maintenance you could forget they were there. Staff Meeting Agenda notes:  Bar binders are updated with the new drink special, and build sheets for the service passes are printed, cut, and ready to be posted in the morning. JH 86ed / counts on items: E...

Wednesday 12.04 Ian/Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication:   Gus and I chatted about Darius.-LB I finally got my head around Bevager invoices. Hoorah.-LB Ian and I got the frozen machine that is half broken in a good spot so we can use the liquor room more fully. Ian put away a ton of stuff today. Thanks Ian.-LB JD and lemonade is not good. -LB Wicked cannot be stopped, and definitely filled up all its screenings in the second and third rounds.  Ghost in the Shell also did well, but not too many guests lingered at Trees once it let out. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Both bars were kicking off dinner service as I arrived, and service was pretty steady throughout the evening until the third round was settled.  Both Matthew and Tevon stuck around until each bar had gotten through its last high volume service push, and had ample time to restock and reset the bars during the lulls in between seatings.  Jeshua and Patrick rocked each floor solo after that, and closed each bar without issue. JH Prep...

Tuesday 12.03.24 Gus/Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication:  Pretty mellow first round, which gave both bars and all theaters a chance to catch up from this weekend's busy service, as well as prep for a very busy second round. JH Evening service was quite busy. Jared had to head out early due to a family emergency, so James and I held it down together. The lead bartenders, servers and runners really have stepped up their games in this busy season and should be commended for their efforts. - IP BAR Staff Observations: The team just continues to crush. With a full arsenal of soda guns, Darius and Tevon were unstoppable during a sold out Wicked and later on for The Matrix. Lydia and Jeshua handled the lobby easily. Lydia took care of a dinner round push solo while I had Jeshua swing upstairs to assist with a busy bar and service ticket crunch. Everyone was super malleable and ready to jump in. Great team. - IP FOH Staff Observations:  Along the same lines of reminding servers to not use phones at the bar pass, we sh...

Monday / 12.02.24 / Ariel & Lauren / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: I cleared up what I could in the liquor room and walk-in. We gots lots o' boxes! - AB2 Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Jeshua keeps pouring the wrong wines. I flagged this but he didn't  agree he poured sparkling instead of sauv Blanc. He is aware that he keeps pouring Sangiovese instead of Chenin Blanc so I think he will be more cautious. He is also short pouring some theater cocktails. -LB    Natasha is curious about the way the tip pool sharing works for private events. I explained it is part of the pool since the labor that everyone puts into making the batches etc is part of the event, however some explanation might be welcome.-LB I made two very somewhat tiny signs for Lobby bar to designate that it is closed, since the roll down gate does not work and patrons are not discouraged from approaching the closing bartender. I took a look last night and I think it is an electrical issue. -LB FOH Staff Observations: A server put a pint g...

Sunday 12.01.24 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: I informed Jared Kornblatt that he is no longer welcome to drink at Trees Lounge. He had come in earlier today but Ian had not put together that he was the same guy who didn't want to move for trivia. Also, Ian noted that coming from him he might not be super receptive to the news.  I had mentioned that he had thrown up in his pint glass last night. He said it was from his medication. I noted that regardless we have to ensure the safety of the people we serve and it is cause for concern either way.  He then asked if he could have non-alcoholic beverages and I said I wasn't sure and I would have to check with my boss. I have never had that come up when informing someone that was 86ed. I suspect he wants to stay for the tots. Uncertain if he will try to return.  -LB I mentioned to Patrick and Miguel that they can store the frozen drinks taken out of Trees Lounge downstairs at Lobby bar if that is more convenient.-LB Theater 3 was not rerouted because...
