Manager Communication:There was some loud noises coming from mezzanine so I did a lap. There are a bunch of young looking folks, some with beers, some with empties.  Jeshua IDed the ones that bought drinks but as we don't have real oversight to the mezzanine I asked the kids without ID to leave. I told Nick and asked him to do a walk through ten minutes after I did. I am going to make a laminated sign for the mezz stairwell stating "No one under 21 permitted on mezzanine after 7pm." I think this will better protect our liquor license. I think having a mirror so the bar staff can see what goes on up there would also help. Bar staff have mentioned this in the blog over the past month repeatedly and some guidance or help would be appreciated. I hope I am not overstepping with this signage, but I do think it is an important situation to address.-LB
The sign I made and posted is very shoddily attached to the framed information on the art organization. I am happy to make a permanent situation out of it with a frame, but stylistically defer to the powers that be.-LB
Lol this Sunday came out of nowhere, smooth sailing to very hands on. Glad I batched stuff early on.-LB
James showed me how to close out Lobby bar.-LB  
Patrick did a once over and closed Lobby bar properly. He is restocking both bars then will take off. I hit both him and Darius with tokens for their extra helpful Sunday shift. -LB
I will try to restock wine in walk-in if I get a chance, but depending, I may not get to.-LB
In good news, I am getting faster chops behind both bars.-LB
Some frozen machines are not being cleaned tonight due to the staffing shortages building-wide.-LB
I really want to use the "Die Hard" looking walkies that are in the office.-LB 
Just like when we have the theater cleaning ropes to indicate people can't enter, it would be cool to have one of those for Trees Lounge so when they are closed and theaters empty no one tries to go in there. -LB
Woof. All the customers are gone. Yay.-LB 

Customer Comments: Someone is ordering Hendricks and coke and it has me completely concerned about their personal wellness.-LB

BAR Staff Observations: Bryan and Tevon crushed opening. Patrick came in and jumped right in.
Patrick is a shining star on the bar.-LB

FOH Staff Observations: Luis did not get any family meal because there was no veggie option left. I am providing him with a staff meal when he is done supporting.-LB

Hiring/Training: Meeting a bartender named Greg tomorrow at noon. 

Sick Leave/ Call outs: Jeshua was feeling really sick and got worse as the night went on. As always Darius and Patrick save the day. I covered Lobby bar and closed down what I could and Jeshua got out of here around 10:45pm.  Patrick is helping restock. Darius will close Trees lounge and give a once over to the job I did downstairs. -LB

Maintenance: I cleaned the scoops and lids for bulk sugar.  
If someone can update and make sure the lobby laptop is up to date, it generally gets salty when I have used it in a pinch for customer service.  I am not a mac gal so I defer to someone that respects Steve Jobs.-LB
The dishwasher fluid in the dishpit is in the way for these super busy pushes when I am running all the dishes and prep materials. If it can be mounted back to the wall or if we can put it on top of the machine rather than the offramp.-LB

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
