Manager Communication: 
As always a quick cameo by Gus to grab stuff and run it to Williamsburg. 
We need a new thermal printer possibly at Trees. It is printing very pale. -LB

Gus and I discussed trying a protocol out where we input the drink count for batches for the first run specials. We need to be diligent to make sure when batched they are entered. If this system seems useful we can launch it for other batches as well to make sure we aren't over-batching. -LB

I am going to need a new master key since mine broke in the door. I am closing tomorrow night. I suppose I can use the bar's key, but if there is one around please lmk. -LB

BAR Staff Observations: 
When Gus and I did Maya's review, she mentioned that it would be great if we could give the Trees staff memos when they open if there are events that day. It can change how they prep for the day.-LB

Special Events? 
Had the 14th Street Block Holiday Party at Trees tonight, and boy oh boy do the hosts like to show up early.  But myself and Jeremy were prepared and were already setting the floor when they arrived, and Bryan, Matthew, and Patrick handled the event and theater service with ease.  Fairly lowkey group, they seemed to have a lovely evening and enjoyed the food and bevvies.  The party began dwindling down around 10:15pm, and we reset the floor once the last party guests departed.  Shout out to Chenelle for answering all my texted questions throughout the evening :D JH

86ed / counts on items: 
Running down on Glindade. There is strawberry sparkle syrup, but I didn't prep more as we should just batch as needed tonight.-LB

86'd Spirit of Comfort to start tomorrow. Lauren made a note in Prep. JH

Prep List: 
Made cacao water and will batch more raspberry cacao syrup tomorrow since I gave egg replacer to Williamsburg.  I am batching 50 Spirit of Comfort for tomorrow afternoon launch.-LB

Tevon knocked out a bunch of batches to help us get ready for the new releases this weekend, and Matthew and I prepped some syrups and Arbol Tequila to get us ahead of weekend batching.  We will need to make some more of the Rum Blend, as I did not see any in the walk in, and could definitely batch up some Tornado Wrangler when we have a chance tomorrow. JH

Pay Outs: 
$320 is a payout at Trees Lounge. The $320 will need to be taken from Trees once they have it tonight and put back into the change box in the safe. Fortunately no keys needed to open the safe. -LB

Trees' cash math looked good at the end of the night. JH

Baldor is coming tomorrow.   

Maintenance: 
The office door has finally died. Will need to have it fixed so the master key works everywhere. For now you must use a flat head screwdriver to turn the mechanism. -LB

I think we need to have the bobbin apparatus replaced on the Ommegang as we encountered a similar issue as last weeks no pull tapping session.-LB

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
