Sunday 12.01.24 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: I informed Jared Kornblatt that he is no longer welcome to drink at Trees Lounge. He had come in earlier today but Ian had not put together that he was the same guy who didn't want to move for trivia. Also, Ian noted that coming from him he might not be super receptive to the news.  I had mentioned that he had thrown up in his pint glass last night. He said it was from his medication. I noted that regardless we have to ensure the safety of the people we serve and it is cause for concern either way.  He then asked if he could have non-alcoholic beverages and I said I wasn't sure and I would have to check with my boss. I have never had that come up when informing someone that was 86ed. I suspect he wants to stay for the tots. Uncertain if he will try to return.  -LB

I mentioned to Patrick and Miguel that they can store the frozen drinks taken out of Trees Lounge downstairs at Lobby bar if that is more convenient.-LB

Theater 3 was not rerouted because it was not 'connected to the socket'. Lots of computer jargin and red icons. I do not know how to rectify.-LB

Customer Comments: A patron in theater 1 for Wicked had a lemonade spilled on them. She was upset she was only given one towel for a 3 hour movie and nothing was comped.  I gave her two passes and told the servers to err on the side of being overly kind about literal spillage on a customer.-LB

BAR Staff Observations:

The openers were wonderful today. Darius and Patrick really set Trees lounge up for success this morning with a very thorough close, so Natasha was able to prepare properly for the busy rushes. The single door solution in lobby seems to be relatively effective! Maya was still definitely chilly, but having only one door open with such frequency does seem to warm up the proceedings. - IP

Jeshua had an issue with a senior customer who wanted a senior rate, Jeshua erroneously informed them they are not available on the weekend. The customer accused him of robbing him and Jeshua was upset. Carly was there to speak with him and Darius confirmed that senior tickets are available at all times. I think some signage could help Lobby bartenders out when they are in a flustered state from business and screaming children. -LB 

I think we should have Alex do the chalkboard and hairspray it so it stays nice. Currently the verbiage makes it sound like Trees is only open til 3pm and 7pm when it is trying to explain happy hours.  We should write a clearer happy hour listing or something more cheeky.-LB

Patrick's in time for tomorrow is 12 am-close. So he doesn't know what time he is needed, but he is opening for Lydia, so Lydia will need to know her start time.  -LB

Jeshua was super helpful being flexible between both bars during busy moments.  Miguel kicked ass as always and stayed through 11 to help Patrick get set up for an easier close alone. 

FOH Staff Observations: Some servers are still walking down hallways, ramps and stairwells glaring at their cellphones. 

Everyone collectively being extra weird at the end of this holiday weekend, customers mainly.-LB

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Letting bartenders know that they can store frozen machines contents from Trees in Lobby bar if this is a short cut for them.-LB

I made three batches of Lemonade and another batch of Bloody Mary. We will have to make more Simple Syrup, and definitely some more Together is Better. - IP

I made an OF, Tornado Wrangler. Bars are well stocked with Rage is your gift, however I think giving that spot to a Queer cocktail would sell really well. -LB

I batched a Princes of Maine and Intimate Party Mix. We need to make more Passion fruit syrup. -LB

We also need to denote a new mystery cocktail as Trees Lounge does not currently have one.-LB

Maintenance: Perhaps there should be an ADA access sign on the exit from Theater 1 to the elevator bank.-LB

Vlad was asking to get some new water swiping heads for the kitchen. He said a new one was ordered and it is mediocre. He mentioned there are three in the building. I think for this type of item we should check webstaurant. -LB

Vlad is replacing one of the paper towel dispensers in the Trees Ladies room, he said we should order a back up.  He also mentioned that in the stall that has the 'watch your head' sign there is a broken pipe similar to the downstairs stall. That is what I gathered but I am not confident on the specifics. -LB
