Sunday 06.30 Jenn/Ashley

Manager Communication:  What a day! It wasn't easy, everyone is exhausted, but we got it done. AB Switched Ian & Natasha's shifts for this upcoming Friday 07/05 on 7Shifts. Natasha will open Trees & Ian will close that night. AB There are orange segment garnishes prepped in the walk-in next to the mint, so no one can be mad at me. AB BAR Staff Observations:  Really great work across both bars today, with Miguel holding down lobby solo the majority of the day, and Natasha setting up Trees with an open that lasted several sold out service pushes.  Maya helped Miguel reset, and then she came up to Trees, where she and Tevon stayed on top of service while Natasha helped get us batched up on some product. JH Jeshua closed out all the tabs that were pre-authorized but didn't close out or sign, without asking me to add gratuity. He thought he could just put in 20% and I explained the legal issue regarding this and to call an MOD over next time. The card info doesn't st...

Saturday 06.29 Ashley/Dana

Manager Communication: Lydia's swing-shift this morning was very much appreciated. They juiced for both bars, sliced fruit, & put away tons of glassware. They were able to leave around 1PM and both bars were extra prepared for Saturday service. AB FDNY inspector returned today to check CO2, he said both our inspections this week are approved! One note, the CO2 sensor in the soda closet closest to the floor was off. He mentioned if that light is off to make sure it's on, it's the sensor that tells us if we're going to die from lack of oxygen (lol). AB Busy, tough night for the staff today. Had a large crowd from BRIC arrived to Trees extra thirsty at the beginning of the rush from TH1 Quiet Place. Bartenders commented that it felt nonstop today. Gabrielle and Kelsey really held it down on the closing side tonight with it being a rough night for them. I gave both a token for rolling with the punches tonight. -DL BAR Staff Observations: A little concerned about Maya ...

Friday 06.28 Jenn/Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Probably the smoothest Menu Change Day at Prospect Park for bar. No hiccups thus far! Ian & Tevon were integral this morning, in perfect communication with each other regarding prep & all things SUMMER MENU. AB A lot of bartenders are not available for coverage tomorrow so we needed to move some people around. Lydia is going to work a short shift alongside openers from 10-1PM, this way we could have the bar covered for batching and Lydia can leave in time for her friends memorial service. Kelsey is going to be in 3-12AM as a pre-close. 7Shifts has been updated. AB Lobby was low on glasses when Gabrielle was getting out. Keep in mind for opener tomorrow. -AB2 A note I want to add is for bartenders to empty out what they have for frozens into the machine at the end of the night. I just noticed tonight on my way out. Lemme know if this makes sense but I feel like it is just better for the opening bartender to come in and see the machine full. -AB2 Customer C...

Thursday 06.27 Dana/Ashley

Manager Communication: After the tasting the bar staff had more than enough time to set up both bars and prepare for a busy first round with Inside Out in TH1 and Th2 both nearly sold out.  Just notes about the line cleaning- Let's remind them to change the Espresso Martini line back to Co2 so it can be ready for the Fleur Delacour to replace it. Let's also make sure they check the lines for the Pilsner since the bobbin gave issues last week. And we they should also check the line the NA Spritz was on since the kegs were constantly losing charge, just to make sure it's not a leak anywhere in that line. -DL I emptied out the Espresso Martini line and both bars have it ready to go in S&P, will definitely need to batch more tomorrow at some point. 1 Fleur Delacour and 1 N/A Spritzer keg are charged and ready to go, there are backups that just need to be charged tomorrow AM. AB Bar binders are all updated. All Trees, Lobby, HH and GF/V menus are stuffed, giving openers tim...

Wednesday 06.26 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication: Outside of a busy TH2 the rest of the building was relatively quiet which was perfect to get us all up and ready for tomorrow. Jenn got the syrups all prepared and I sorted the product to make things go quick from the beginning. -DL BAR Staff Observations: Kelsey and Matthew have a great flow while working together. Had a quick rush in Trees and they were able to dance through it without missing any steps as Darius knocked out service bar mostly alone. -DL  FOH Staff Observations: Dee had a great energy and was extremely helpful on multiple levels during the busy and slow moments of the night. -DL Special Events? Karaoke had a small, but fun crowd tonight during the rainy moment. -DL 86ed / counts on items: Pamplemouse will arrive on Friday morning. Until then let's keep an eye on Neon Demon and put it on a count Tomorrow if necessary. -DL  Prep List:  All syrups are prepped and ready to go for batching tomorrow!  Made a double batch of the...

Tuesday 06.25 Dana/Nick/Jenn/Ashley

Manager Communication:   Tonight was a sweet little break from the chaos. TH1 6PM Inside Out 2 was the only real push, giving us time to focus on product levels and transitioning into new menu. Tevon got a lot of batching done while Darius and Maya slung some cocktails. Ian handled a lot of walk-ins and newcomers down in Lobby. AB Just some things to keep an eye on the night before menu change meeting: - ice trays in Trees - fresh lemon and lime juice - bus bin of all liquor for batching - bus bin of all refrigerated syrups/puree for batching - fresh eggs in Trees - AB Special Events? Karaoke menus are ready to go, in the event container in the liquor room. AB 86ed / counts on items: Other Half, Grimm, Balvenie, Pistachio Mai Tai. AB Prep List: Knocked out some necessities today including Bloody Mary concentrate. Butterfly syrup for Fleur Delacour is ready to go, we're pretty prepped up on the tea bags as well. Syrups we need with tomorrows delivery include: Strawberry Mint, Waterm...

Monday 06.24 Jenn/Ariel

Manager Communication: I got $20 worth of Lemons and $20 worth of Limes from Mr. Kiwi before coming in. - AB2 Volo came in to my surprise today. All was good though and had a solid crowd. I brought out some Red Stripes and had them be charged for with the "$5 Beer Stub" button. Everything else was business as usual. - AB2 Tevon got some batching done. We are low on Espresso Martini but I told him not to batch since we will be moving away from kegging it for Summer. - AB2  Jeshua said he heard the frozen machine for the Ecto Chiller crack during his shift. At the end of the night he pointed out to me that the machine had a crack. The crack is on the main plastic container that holds the liquid. The crack is at the top. I told him to put a piece of tape at the bottom of the crack for now to at least indicate how high up we can fill that frozen to. - AB2 I do not know how to pull up receipts from previous purchases so I can not find if it was under warranty or anything. I went o...

Sunday 06.23 Ashley/Dana

Manager Communication: Another day of full theaters, humidity, children, and Nerds candy all over the bar pass. Everyone really kept up. Bar never got behind, servers were pre-bussing enough to never run out of glassware. I split up the batching between Matthew & Tevon so we would have enough bodies behind the bar when needed. Miguel has gotten a lot stronger with multi-tasking, didn't call much unless for glassware help. AB Paul plugged in one of the big fans by the bar pass/family meal area. It really kept that heat trap cool, let's keep that fan there! I'll mention to closers to turn it off at the end of the night. AB Things died down in comparison to the early rounds but we had plenty of walkins that made things jump up last minute. Things ran extremely well in Trees even with us being 86'd on a few items.-DL Customer Comments: Around 7:45 while I was covering for Darius at lobby bar, a guest came out of the women restroom alerting me a woman was in there on t...

Saturday 06.22 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication:  Inside Out 2 is relentless.  Again, the timing and spacing between screenings really worked in service's favor, keeping the pushes staggered across the day.  Every Inside Out 2 screening sold out, or came incredibly close to it, and the smaller theaters began to catch up once we hit the dinner round.  Our one-screening-a-day movies have also been selling out the smaller theaters consistently. JH A busy Saturday throughout the later rounds. With the thunderstorm hitting we had a huge amount of walk in selling out the last round for just about anything that had seats available. Trees had a large drinking crowd of guests who didn't see a movie and really made Trees feel like a normal, welcoming bar according to the staff. -DL BAR Staff Observations:  Wow wow wow, what a team during service today.  Openers did a great job seeting both bars up for success, and each subsequent bartender arrived ready to dive right into service.  Nat...

Friday 06.21 Jenn/Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication:  Smooth all around night. Had no issues with anyone behind the bar. I was able to get Tevon out of here first then I cut Ian after batching. Jeshua closed the lobby and Natasha & Gabrielle closed Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: It's not easy handling sold out TH1 & TH2 solo with a full bar, unless you're IAN POAKE. AB FOH Staff Observations: In much better spirits today! AB 86ed / counts on items: Back up on Pistachio Mai Tai! 86 Grimm Weisse (4ever), Balvenie, & Singani. We might have just enough Neon Demon to get through the weekend. AB Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Stumptown arriving Tuesday. JH Fast Kathy, not so fast on the NuFoamicide delivery. Jenn will touch base tomorrow. AB Maintenance: Ice machine in Tree's was acting strange. It stopped making ice. I called Jenn and she helped me through. Also texted Jenn, Dana, and Ashley. I turned it off from the outside then after not having any luck, I unscrewed the 2 screws in th...

Thursday 06.20 Jenn/Ashley

Manager Communication: We were slammed all day & night. The kiddo's for Inside Out 2 are wearing out the staff quite a bit, followed by the Bad Boys late night sassy crowd. A pizza party is probably in order. Bar team was extraordinary tonight, regardless. Ian took on some very sold theaters solo to start - Darius, Matthew, and Natasha took over while he got us back up on batches. Kelsey had a smooth Lobby shift with little issue, she came to support Trees at the very end. AB The Hellraiser crowd and all surrounding festivities were a delight. The ToolBox BDSM merch table was a hit (I just wanted to type that, y'all). Trees Lounge had a full house for most of the evening. AB BAR Staff Observations: Could not have pulled today without the whole squad. AB FOH Staff Observations: Had a few comments about Bryn tonight from staff, and there was a problematic situation I observed myself. Bartenders and Lead Servers noticed her at the pass only grabbing her drinks, leaving a full ...

Wednesday 6/19 Dana/Jenn

Manager Communication: Busy busy busy start to the day. Sold out first and second rounds throughout the building and plenty of walkin throughout the evening. Jeshua came in at 12 and took over lobby so Miguel could swing upstairs to support Matthew. Gabrielle got in at 2 to relieve Matthew so he can get ahead in batching.  We needed to recharge the NA Spritz that was hooked up to the line. I remember this keg being charged the other day so it may be an issue with the line where the keg losing it's charge or not charging at all from one of the line for CO2. -DL  Theaters stayed busy all evening, especially our two special screenings in Th3 and Th4.  Once Inside Out 2 had wrapped for the day, neither of the larger theaters cracked 100 so service definitely mellowed out at the service pass.  Trees maintained a pretty decent crowd all day, which began to naturally dwindle around 10:30pm. JH Customer Comments: Plenty of last minute walkins for already sold out movies t...

Tuesday 06.18 Jenn/Nick/Ashley

Manager Communication: Bar stayed busy busy busy all night & day. Off the bat with sold out Inside Out 2, along with a sold out Cloud Atlas lining up with our Trivia push. Ian prepped us up & then assisted Trees before moseying down to Lobby bar to close. Tevon took Trivia tables while Lydia and Jeshua were behind the bar slinging drinks & taking names. At the end of the night, Dwight & Ian helped reset the floor. AB Customer Comments: Got a call during TH2 during the credits for X that they were having issues with an intoxicated guest. A woman was alone, giving Dee & Alison a hard time. She was the only tab that hadn't closed, and when trying to get her payment they realized she was belligerent. I went in and collected payment from her which she wasn't happy about. She apparently yelled at them, I merely got a lot of slurry attitude. Dwight made sure she left the building and bar knew not to serve her. She only had two beers on her tab. I looked up her name...

Monday 06.17 Dana/Ariel

Manager Communication: Busy first round in TH1 and Th2 with inside out. Tevon was able to handle most of it alone until Jeshua arrived at 4:30 while Kelsey handled lobby with no issues at all. Once Jenna got in we swung Kelsey upstairs to support Jeshua as Tevon knocked out some batching to get us back up for the remainder of the evening and into tomorrow. -DL BAR Staff Observations: Not real busy today. Kelsey handled the Theater rush in Trees with no problem while Tevon was batching. Jenna rocked out in Lobby all shift with no issues and Jeshua closed down Trees. Smooth night. - AB2 86ed / counts on items: Corn Tendies were 86'd during the shift. - AB2 Pay Outs: 5200 - FOOD (Mr. Kiwi - $13.98) - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Southern should arrive tomorrow along with the Grand Marnier. The new piece for the frozen will arrive Wednesday. -DL  Maintenance: Mobility came to check the elevator and inspect for the cause of that stench. He check inside, underneath and above but ...

Sunday 06.16 Ashley/Dana

Manager Communication: This team makes sold-out look so easy. Natasha held down the Trees fort while Maya maneuvered a million walk-ins. Once Kelsey got in we were able to reset.  AB We need more cocktail umbrellas (probably just one more box?) & coffee stirrers (bulk please)!   AB Darius was able to hold lobby down solo for the day. Nick did great in the lobby guiding some people to their theaters which help Darius a lot. Kelsey, Jeshua and Tevon had some busy rounds but we still managed to get Kelsey out of here a bit early. -DL 86ed / counts on items: 86 Grand Marnier for now, not crazy low on FWWM though. AB   Prep List: Almost 86'ed PYR Spritzer this morning. Looked at numbers, we sold 43 yesterday. We consecutively change this keg every other day, I would suggest still having one on and a backup charged until the actual week of menu change. We had enough syrup to make 1 full and 1/2 keg. Natasha knocked out more syrup. AB Used the last bit or Pistachio...

Saturday 06.15 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication:  Busy morning, with Inside Out 2 selling well all day, selling out the majority of its big theater showings.  That comes with the usual adult wrangling with popular children movies, which is explained in more detail under Customer Comments .  Mulholland Drive also did really well in the first round, and looks to have a similar crowd tomorrow.  Both large theaters were staggered really well, so the service pass never got backed up and glassware was pretty consistently being run to Trees. JH Besides the fun interaction with the guest that I mention in the customer comment section, it was a reall smooth night within the building. Even with the nearly sold out rounds in TH1 and 2 the bartenders killed it in Trees. Jeshua was able to hold lobby down solo with no help needed, outside of calling for pint glasses. -DL Bartenders found it difficult applying the nerds to water cups for the Zoomy due to the paint brushes being too wet to apply the honey...

Friday, 06.14 Jenn/Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Fun shift tonight. Bar was coolin'. Ian was prepping us up for the weekend. Both bars rocked out and did well. Everyone was great and handled rushes well. We had a good push of tickets in Trees for the last round TH2 Bad Boys. Matthew and Gabrielle were terrific. Expoing here is new to me so definitely something I look forward to getting better at. TH5 server station flooded. I been waiting for a reason to jump in the water. Ashley and I went down there. I moved all of Juan's stuff from the middle of the bottom floor so none of it would get wet. Ashley and I then got the squeegee's and pushed everything down the stairs. After clearing all the water out; Russell took over and Vlad got in there as well. We were able to open up for the next round in TH5. -AB2 I took a 5oz bag of the Butterfly Pea Flower for NWB. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Everyone was great and held their own. It was nice to be able to handle other situations on the floor and then com...

Thursday 06.13 Dana/Ashley

Manager Communication: I tested the pilsner when I came in today. The line was working fine but the pressure was off for it which is what kept causing the issue last night. Just a reminder that bartenders shouldn't turn the lines off and if they do for any reason they have to make sure it's turned back on when finished. -DL Keeping juice boxes behind both bars. Let's make sure they aren't overstocking, and keeping an eye on those expiration dates. AB Had some pushes with TH1 sold out all day, the rest of the building was relatively calm. Matthew held down the pass all night while Jeshua handled the bar top. Kelsey had a chill night in Lobby. AB Darius accidentally clocked out when ending his break, adjusted in Mobilebytes. AB Customer Comments: Inside Out 2 had a lot of walk-in near the time of the first and second round. A lot of confused parents/grandparents that need a bit more guidance and grace in lobby. -DL Hiring/Training: We received plenty of applications for...

Wednesday 06.12 Dana/Jenn

M anager Communication: The lid for the FWWM in Trees wasn't on correctly and the product was basically unrefrigerated all night causing it to appear bad this morning when I got in. I didn't feel comfortable using the product due to the citrus in the mix. It was about 6qts of product. -DL BAR Staff Observations:  Kelsey swung upstairs to help Gabrielle with Trees while Matthew did some light batching, and she was able to get out of here after that.  Matthew stuck around Trees for the initial push from Karaoke, as well as the post-screening crowd for Just Another Girl on the IRT.  Jeshua and Gabrielle both wrapped up service and closed each bar without issue. JH  Hiring/Training:  Dana sent out the message that we are looking to hire a new bartender at NPP, and has already received some replies from current staff. JH Special Events?  Printed out some specials and two QR code sign up sheets (one by Susan, one at Trees POS) for Karaoke tonight.  Had a gr...

Tuesday 06.11 Dana/Ashley

Manager Communication: Pretty fun Tuesday over here! Sold out Cora Bora in TH1 kept us on our toes, and the drink tickets @ Trees end of night turned out to be more VIP - overall smooth sailin' on our end. AB Everything you need for Conrad's photoshoot tomorrow is behind the bar. We're bringing back the paintbrush with honey to get the Nerds on real good. *Pro tip for less mess* a little honey goes a long way. Just the faintest brush will get them on without them slipping from condensation. AB BAR Staff Observations:  Shout out to the boys tonight! Tevon as always, so multi-faceted in this building. Darius held down the event like nobody's business. AB   FOH Staff Observations: Becca & Erika! AB Hiring/Training:  Nick seems to be getting Nitehawk quickly! He's great interacting with guests when in Lobby. AB Special Events? Cora Bora in TH1 went splendidly! AB 86ed / counts on items: Ebbs Kolsh and Jack Pilsner 86'd until tomorrow's delivery. -DL Roughly...

Monday 06.10 Ariel

Manager Communication:  I brought over one botte of the Banane Du Bresil and two bottles of the Cocchi Rosa. - AB2 Customer Comments:  A hair was found in a burger in Trees. burger was comp'd. They were nice about it considering... - AB2 BAR Staff Observations:  Everyone was great tonight. Got Jenna and Kelsey out pretty early and closed smoothly with Tevon and Lydia. - AB2 86ed / counts on items:  Fernet was 86'd today - AB2 Prep List:  Tevon got us batched up on Fire Walk, Neon Demon, Lemonade, and Arbol Tequila. - AB2 Mobilebytes Issues: Pre Auth - I noticed that the system took down the name under "Credit Card Name" and not under "Guest Name." The "Guest Name" slot is what appears on the tabs in the main screen of the bar tabs page. Something for bar staff to know that I expressed to Kelsey and Lydia is that names do not have to be typed in from looking at the card but can instead be looked at in the "info" page as well for the meanti...

Sunday 06.09 Ashley/Dana

Manager Communication: Had a busy start with Sundays on Fire . A few theaters jumped up with the rain. Miguel prepped for both bars upstairs while Maya slayed the pass up in Trees. We went through a lot of product last night, but Ian got us back on track. AB The night really calmed down in comparison to the rest of the weekend. Outside some growth for Bad Boys in Th2 we had didn't have anything else going on in the building. -DL     BAR Staff Observations: The Frozen machine in Trees next to the bubblers gave a bit of an issues late in the night. The auger began to stick due to over freezing. Let's make sure the setting for it stays around 6/7 to avoid this problem during the slower hours. -DL  FOH Staff Observations: Gemma did great on the floor today. Was a positive energy around the bar today. -DL 86ed / counts on items: Currently 86 Cool Runnings (no Giffard Banane) & Suspiria, low on Rockford Peaches (missing Cocchi Rosa for both). In touch with Ariel over at W...

Saturday 06.08 Ashley/Dana

Manager Communication: Busy start with ST&B! Smooth event in Mezzanine for the PSWT Arts Group. Ian got us all batched up.  Th1 and TH2 had a lot of growth for the later rounds. Lobby stayed pretty active for majority of the night due to walk ins and people needing guidance. Had a large birthday group walk into Trees around 8:30. Large as in 40+ people but Ian and Tevon were able to handle them as Jenna and I worked on service bar for the late push. Glassware was the only issue we ran into for the night. -DL BAR Staff Observations: Tevon and Jenna held it down closing Trees tonight without any hiccups. They may not be the normal Saturday closing team but they were great behind the bar with Ian. -DL FOH Staff Observations: Erika was great on the first floor all day. Really took lead and helped some of the other servers that needed help at various moments. -DL Special Events? Event went smooth and the clean up was a breeze. There's one dirty table cloth in a blue bag in the b...

Friday 06.07 Jenn/Ariel

Manager Communication:  Solid night. Everyone was great. Maya got out pretty early. Jeshua rocked out Lobby solo. Ian batched then helped through a lil rush. Closed with Gabrielle and Matthew. AB2 We were running real low on Collins glasses. I ran a fresh box of 2 dozen through dish. AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Everyone was great. Solid crew tonight. AB2 FOH Staff Observations: Appreciated Jose being a team player and staying well passed his out time to help support TH4 & 6. AB2 86ed / counts on items: We cannot batch more The Darkest Angel until Southern makes the Lillet swap.  Both bars are stocked though, and Furiosa ticket sales have definitely slowed, so we may make it through the weekend with what we have. JH Suspiria is on count, as I used the last of the Cocchi Rosa to make a quarter batch today. JH   Prep List: Ian handled some batching. He did a double batch of Paloma, 1 Fire Walk, 2 Lemonades, Simple Syrup, and an N/A Spritz Keg. We did not have any po...

Thursday 06.06 Dana/Ashley

Manager Communication: Had a calm start to the day with a lot of walk-ins due to the rain. First floor and Th4 both had some growth. Both bars handle it without any issues or need for added support. -DL We got a little momentum in the dinner rounds with Furiosa & Babes jumping up a bit. TS&B was also very sold, with a hefty late-night bar crowd. We cut Jeshua as soon as possible - he worked a lot this week. Ian had quite the batch list, and supported his team until the very end. Gabrielle and Matthew were welcoming to guests and got the thing done tonight. Tevon swung up to help at the end of his Lobby Close. I love this team. AB Pay Outs: $7.50-Bar Grocery- Fruity Pebbles -DL Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Southern brought 6 bottles of Lillet Rogue to replace the 6 bottles of Lillet Rogue they delivered by mistake.....the proper switch should happen tomorrow for the Lillet Rose. Opener, please contact me immediately in the morning if it is not picked up before 3pm. -DL  M...

Wednesday 06.05 Dana/Jenn

Manager Communication: The window repairs in Trees to prevent leaks took a bit longer than expected. For the first hour of service Trees was bar only until they finished and we were able to reset. Not many people came in during the time but some people did congregate to the Mezz instead. -DL BAR Staff Observations: Just a note for bartenders when pre-authorizing cards to make sure the names attach to tab in MB before giving the card back. Had a good amount of cards that wouldn't automatically register people's information when creating a tab. -DL  Matthew and Maya knocked out both bubblers well before the closers got in thanks to all the down time. The Lesbian Bar project brought in a big crowd into Trees beforehand and I expect another rush afterwards since it's such a short turn around. -DL Great team tonight.  Maya was able to get out of here once everyone had a chance to grab family meal and Jeshua reset Lobby, which he held down solo all night.  Matthew was a gem an...

Tuesday 06.04 Dana/Ashley

Manager Communication: Calm first round that we used to clean and setup for Trivia. We officially started to Pre-Authorize cards at Trees with Darius already being familiar with the system in Williamsburg. With the broken piece in the frozen machine in lobby, we condensed the Ecto Chiller to only Trees. -DL Calmer Trivia turnout, probably because we had it two weeks in a row to get back on rotation. I spoke to Maya about it at length (lol), and we decided not to pre-authorize table service tonight. The challenges she presented are: she has the crowd well-trained, and there is only one check per table. That in itself is a lot of checks, which is why we instilled that policy. Someone will come much earlier than the rest of the group to reserve a table, but they won't necessarily be the person paying the entire bill. We haven't been collecting cards for table service because of this reason, and haven't had any walkouts since Maya closes the teams out during the last round. I ...

Monday 6.03 Dana/Ariel

Manager Communication: Very quiet Monday. Besides a sold out Th 4 the rest of the building was extremely quiet. Tevon was able to start the frozens in Trees during the first round of the day by condensing the FWWM to just one machine. Downstairs they were able to knock out the Ecto Chiller and just grabbed some Trees if needed. -DL One of the frozens in Tree's had a piece that broke. We had a replacement and I left that piece here in the office. One of the frozens in the lobby also had the roller piece that broke/chipped. I have all these broken pieces together on the desk. -AB BAR Staff Observations: Jenna was a hour late for her shift today. During the conversation about her tardiness she voice an opinion that we may need another bartender as everyone has been swapping around to help each other but it's clearly wearing down on some of them. I added it to the meeting docs but I also think it's time to hire one more bartender. -AB Prep List: Tevon handle a small batch l...

Sunday 06.02 Ashley/Jenn

Manager Communication:  We kept it real this morning. First round was busy across the board with Drop Dead Gorgeous, Indiana Jones & The Temple of Doom, & IF downstairs. It tapered off drastically from there, and we used the time to reset for a busy dinner service. Kelsey & Miguel took on Trees, while Maya prepped in Lobby - Maya took the desired early cut. Tevon helped with some prep.  AB Easygoing Sunday, with a lot of the smaller theaters filling up over the course of the night, and the larger theaters getting up to 100 or so tickets before the more mellow last round. JH Prep List:  Pretty mellow weekend, so kept batching light.  Tevon was able to knock out a batch of Neon Demon before getting out of here. JH Tevon did a count of all in-house Dirtied My Shirley, Dirty Shame, & Rockford Peaches.  Left the count on the  Do Not Batch  list at Bar Prep, no need to put them on count yet.  Let's make sure we are having openers double ...

Saturday 06.01 Jenn

Manager Communication:  A lot of day of ticket sales, particularly for the later rounds, but nothing too crazy.  Trees had a couple crowds during the day, but that all wound down by 10:00pm.  Customer Comments:  Had a guest at Lobby around 5:15pm who had gotten stuck in traffic and so ran very late to the 4:15pm IF screening she had tickets for.  I explained that while I could not offer a refund, due to the film being well underway, I also could not offer tickets for the next IF screening at 5:25pm, as there were no seats together to accommodate the children in her group.  I explained studio ticketing policies, and offered her yellow passes and explained their limitations.  She was definitely upset, but not confrontational, and ultimately took the passes.  I did let her know that, should she have a similar situation in the future, to give us an email before showtime and we will run the e-credit if possible.  Just wanted to put a note here i...
