Wednesday 6/19 Dana/Jenn



Manager Communication:
Busy busy busy start to the day. Sold out first and second rounds throughout the building and plenty of walkin throughout the evening. Jeshua came in at 12 and took over lobby so Miguel could swing upstairs to support Matthew. Gabrielle got in at 2 to relieve Matthew so he can get ahead in batching. 

We needed to recharge the NA Spritz that was hooked up to the line. I remember this keg being charged the other day so it may be an issue with the line where the keg losing it's charge or not charging at all from one of the line for CO2. -DL 

Theaters stayed busy all evening, especially our two special screenings in Th3 and Th4.  Once Inside Out 2 had wrapped for the day, neither of the larger theaters cracked 100 so service definitely mellowed out at the service pass.  Trees maintained a pretty decent crowd all day, which began to naturally dwindle around 10:30pm. JH

Customer Comments:
Plenty of last minute walkins for already sold out movies today causing a lot of questions in the lobby. Nick is really getting the flow of things so he helped guide guests as Jeshua handle service tickets. -DL

BAR Staff Observations: 
Running with a Sunday schedule set up worked great for service needs today, especially with how well Inside Out 2 sold today.  Both bars were well supported and stocked throughout the day, and all bartenders were great about communicating between each other. JH

86ed / counts on items:
Grimm is 86'd. -DL 

Several items that were listed as 86'd on MB for bar were not actually 86'd.  Reminder to all bar managers to check MB is accurate when opening, and when bringing an item back into service. JH

Prep List:
Lemonade and FWWM are flying with this weather and these kids. -DL

Over/Short on Banks: 
Lobby was $4 under.  I reviewed the cash transactions on MB and made sure there were no unaccounted for quarters, but could not figure it out.  I will be in to open tomorrow, and will review it with Paul when I get in. JH

Trees was $5 under.  Darius told me that Matthew had said that when he opened the Trees bank was $10 under.  When I grabbed the money at the end of the night, this was the first I had heard about it.  I will reach out to openers tomorrow to see what happened and if that bank was ever brought up to $300 during service. JH

Pay Outs: 
$23.00 (Food) JH

Just a reminder, and I will include this in the email this week, but we need to be including what items were purchased on pay outs. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Manhattan will arrive tomorrow. -DL

I will order NuFoamicide from Fast Kathy tomorrow morning.  Last time I was able to get an order in before noon, we got same day delivery, so here's hoping that happens again tomorrow. JH

Maintenance: 
The ice machine at Trees looked like it had stopped making ice at some point today.  I was able to do a hard reset, and it began to start making ice again without issue.  I will check on it first thing when I get in tomorrow. JH

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
