Manager Communication:

Bar stayed busy busy busy all night & day. Off the bat with sold out Inside Out 2, along with a sold out Cloud Atlas lining up with our Trivia push. Ian prepped us up & then assisted Trees before moseying down to Lobby bar to close. Tevon took Trivia tables while Lydia and Jeshua were behind the bar slinging drinks & taking names. At the end of the night, Dwight & Ian helped reset the floor. AB

Customer Comments:

Got a call during TH2 during the credits for X that they were having issues with an intoxicated guest. A woman was alone, giving Dee & Alison a hard time. She was the only tab that hadn't closed, and when trying to get her payment they realized she was belligerent. I went in and collected payment from her which she wasn't happy about. She apparently yelled at them, I merely got a lot of slurry attitude. Dwight made sure she left the building and bar knew not to serve her. She only had two beers on her tab. I looked up her name and she had one beer at the bar before the movie. AB

BAR Staff Observations:

Lydia really held it down tonight. They handled the pass sold out, on top of more trivia tickets than usual. They stayed a little passed their out-time and were happy to help out the team. 

They did make some comments about trying to stay calm working alongside Jeshua, which is a situation we have encountered with other bartenders. I, myself, was having a difficult time communicating with him as he was constantly darting away. I asked him to slow down and listen multiple times. AB

FOH Staff Observations:

Alex, Dee, Erika, Sabrina. All-Star behavior. AB

Sick Leave/ Call outs: 

Dana had to take a personal day.  Paul updated 7Shifts.  I spoke with Dana and he said that he will be able to work his opening shift tomorrow. JH

Special Events?

Trivia was back to a full house, with some teams even sitting in Mezz. We went ahead and pre-authorized tables with Tevon serving tonight. It went very well, overall! Had a lot more smaller teams meaning we had more checks so I assisted. Some tips I have:

1. When grabbing a spare credit card reader, it routed to the same printer that the drink tickets came out of for 4/6. This actually worked out because while Tevon was going around for last call, he was asking tables for tokens. If the check was ready to be closed, he would hit print on the itemized receipt, cueing to me that I can run that check & get it ready in a presenter while he continued to make the rounds. So having extra hands definitely expedited the process.  

2. The credit card reader needed to be nearby and visually active (not the black resting screen) to run cards - otherwise we got a format error. So he only carried that when he was greeting a table or when we were closing out. AB

86'd Grimm Weisse.  Last Action Hero & Cool Runnings on a count. JH

Back up on Last Action Hero & Cool Runnings. All of Pistachio Mai Tai is now in Trees. Ariel is bringing some Pistachio Milk from WB on Friday, which will get us back up on syrup. If we 86 it, it'll only be for a day or two. Pom Yuzu keg is about to kick, Ian got us back up on syrup so we can knock out a backup and charge it tomorrow. AB

Can we order more foamicide on the fly? AB

Prep List:

Darkest of Angels, Pom Yuzu keg, & Ginseng Peel Syrup for Zoomy if we move through that batch. AB
