Manager Communication:
The lid for the FWWM in Trees wasn't on correctly and the product was basically unrefrigerated all night causing it to appear bad this morning when I got in. I didn't feel comfortable using the product due to the citrus in the mix. It was about 6qts of product. -DL

BAR Staff Observations: 
Kelsey swung upstairs to help Gabrielle with Trees while Matthew did some light batching, and she was able to get out of here after that.  Matthew stuck around Trees for the initial push from Karaoke, as well as the post-screening crowd for Just Another Girl on the IRT.  Jeshua and Gabrielle both wrapped up service and closed each bar without issue. JH 

Hiring/Training: 
Dana sent out the message that we are looking to hire a new bartender at NPP, and has already received some replies from current staff. JH

Special Events? 
Printed out some specials and two QR code sign up sheets (one by Susan, one at Trees POS) for Karaoke tonight.  Had a great, laid back crowd, solid mix of Susan's regulars, staff, and this new group that comes for the pool table and karaoke.  Susan had everything wrapped up just after eleven thirty. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 
All binders have been updated with the Zoomy recipe, and drink build sheets for the service passes at both bars have been printed, cut, and are sitting pretty in my mailbox. JH 

When switching cocktail kegs, please make sure to clean and return the empty kegs to the walkin before leaving for the night.  Dirty cocktail kegs should not be left in the sink at Bar Prep, as that is just begging for some pests to come by and imbibe overnight. JH

Prep List:
PYR Spritzer should be made and charged tomorrow, as we tapped the backup keg during service tonight.  All empty cocktail kegs have been cleaned and are chilling in the walkin. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Union, Southern and Baldor were delivered. -DL

Manhattan will arrive tomorrow but they informed me Tecate is back-ordered and may not be delivered. We should be good for the weekend with out current inventory. -DL

Maintenance: 
The Pilsner line was having some issues during service tonight, and it went down several times.  It seems to be an issue with pressure in the line, as the tube up top kept draining on its own, and the bobbin would get stuck on the bottom.  I alternated kegs, and ran the line a few times, and got it back up an running before last call.  Definitely something to check on before doors tomorrow, in case we need to reach out to Draft Choice. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
