Manager Communication:
Busy morning, with Inside Out 2 selling well all day, selling out the majority of its big theater showings.  That comes with the usual adult wrangling with popular children movies, which is explained in more detail under Customer CommentsMulholland Drive also did really well in the first round, and looks to have a similar crowd tomorrow.  Both large theaters were staggered really well, so the service pass never got backed up and glassware was pretty consistently being run to Trees. JH

Besides the fun interaction with the guest that I mention in the customer comment section, it was a reall smooth night within the building. Even with the nearly sold out rounds in TH1 and 2 the bartenders killed it in Trees. Jeshua was able to hold lobby down solo with no help needed, outside of calling for pint glasses. -DL

Bartenders found it difficult applying the nerds to water cups for the Zoomy due to the paint brushes being too wet to apply the honey. Decided to remove them from water while in the middle of the rush for a drier brush for less goopy nerds. DL

Customer Comments:
A lot of adults very confused by sold out Inside Out 2 showings and that adult guardians need to be seated with the children in their party.  Had a couple of situations where we ultimately sold seats apart from each other to accommodate larger parties who had purchased the wrong amount of tickets.  Only one guest at the 4:20pm showing was particularly salty with me, as she was adamant she did not want to watch the movie and told me that she thought that I was singling her out, as I picked up the transaction from Miguel so he could make service tickets.  JH

If we continue sending out emails to groups with large ticket orders, could we please add some language concerning the need for adult guardians to sit with the children in their party?  Also, especially with summer vacation looming on the horizon, we should probably consider posting conspicuous signage in Lobby alerting guests that minors cannot be left unattended.  I know that our age policy is posted next to Filmbot, but some guests really need the basics outlined for them or they direct their anger at staff when they do not get their way.  JH

Around 7pm we received a call for security for 2 guest fighting upstairs by the pool table. Ian made the call and Dwight came from lobby and got there before I made it from the office. Both were adult men who appeared to be overly intoxicated. Matthew had already flagged one of the men earlier in his shift as someone who shouldn't get another drink as there was also a woman upstairs with them that may have purchased a drink for his as well. Unsure if everyone knew each other but Dwight and I separated everyone and took them all outside at different times. Once outside the 2 men ended up seeing each other as one of the men lingered and circled back. They had another altercation away from the building where cops arrived on the scene not long afterwards. No one in the group was here to see a movie nor did they have tabs so no way to find them for the 86 list but no one recognized any of the people except for the woman in their party. -DL

BAR Staff Observations:
Both openers did a great job setting up each bar for service, and were on top of communicating juice and citrus garnish needs to each other well before doors.  First floor screenings were a bit more mellow, so Miguel held down Lobby without issue for the majority of the day, with the exception of some ticket sale lines.  Natasha and Matthew kept Trees stocked and reset between rushes, and Ian was able to get a fair amount of batching done to catch us up on product before closers got in. JH

FOH Staff Observations:
Barry was a great support today. -DL

Special Events?
No one came through either bar looking for the BRIC deal today.  That may change later in the day, but nothing today. JH

Prep List:
I made more PST Concentrate and Simple Syrup this morning, just to keep us well ahead of n/a batching.  A PYR Spritzer keg kicked a little before five, but we may want to run numbers before batching another full keg tomorrow. JH

We continue to run through Ecto Chiller and Lemonade so we should look into batching more than usual for the next couple of days with school being out. -DL

Over/Short on Banks:
Trees was $3 over at the end of the night. -DL

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Ginseng Tea arrived from Amazon, and is in the Liquor Room with the other teas. JH

Mobilebytes Issues:
When Lydia tried to clock in under FOH Meeting for their review, Mobilebytes would not give them the option.  We tried it a couple times, and it would just clock them in as a Bartender, never offering them the option to select another.  I adjusted their time punches once the review was concluded, so Mobilebytes should be all set.
