Manager Communication:
The window repairs in Trees to prevent leaks took a bit longer than expected. For the first hour of service Trees was bar only until they finished and we were able to reset. Not many people came in during the time but some people did congregate to the Mezz instead. -DL

BAR Staff Observations:
Just a note for bartenders when pre-authorizing cards to make sure the names attach to tab in MB before giving the card back. Had a good amount of cards that wouldn't automatically register people's information when creating a tab. -DL 

Matthew and Maya knocked out both bubblers well before the closers got in thanks to all the down time. The Lesbian Bar project brought in a big crowd into Trees beforehand and I expect another rush afterwards since it's such a short turn around. -DL

Great team tonight.  Maya was able to get out of here once everyone had a chance to grab family meal and Jeshua reset Lobby, which he held down solo all night.  Matthew was a gem and knocked out some batching and stuck around until the first wave of the post-special event screening had gotten their drinks.  Darius held down and closed out Trees without issue, and the crowd at Trees was lovely. JH

FOH Staff Observations: 
Caleb, Dee, and Erika brought really great energy and attitudes to service today, which is always appreciated. JH

Special Events? 
The special screening in Th1 brought a great crowd to Trees afterwards, which Darius and Matthew handled with ease while I caught them up on glassware from the theater flip.  The crowd had pretty much cleared out by eleven, except for some stragglers. JH

Prep List: 
Matthew got some light batching done, mostly just getting us ahead on Peach Tea Concentrate before the weekend. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Union arriving tomorrow. Southern will come to swap the Lillet. -DL 

US Foods arriving on Friday. JH

Maintenance:
Juan has put the neon sign for Trees Lounge in the bar closet until the windows are finished. He plans to put it back tomorrow ideally. -DL 

The elevator from Lobby to Trees smells really bad.  It isn't the normal occasional mop water smell, and I do not know what may be causing it.  Can one of the openers tomorrow ask a porter to bleach it out and clean it? JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
