Wednesday 1.31 Dana/Ashley

Manager Communication:   Pretty easygoing night, with 32 Sounds selling out to keep us busy. Gabrielle took the early cut and caught a movie, while Matthew stayed to help Darius with tickets and a big bar crowd coming out of TH1. Kelsey held down Lobby and handled the rest of her night like a champ, even after hitting her head pretty hard (see incident report on drive). AB We are all set on product for TSB tomorrow, but will probably need to infuse some more Aperol before Saturday. Dana mentioned we don't have any Fruity Pebbles in house, I can pick some up tomorrow or Friday. AB  That dank, cheese smell has returned to the Trees dish pit, aggressive as ever. Vlad bleached the area, we should have this done a few more times since it isn't completely gone. Let's just have that fan going full throttle. AB BAR Staff Observations: Shout out to Matthew for helping out his team so much this evening! AB  Special Events? 32 Sounds sold out, and had a great bar crowd both before a...

Tuesday 01.30 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication: Not much action going on in the theaters today. Outside of Deer Hunter at 8:30 and a few guests at trees ordering cocktails it was a pretty quiet evening. -DL  BAR Staff Observations: Miguel stayed a bit to support Maya through the 8:30 push and was out before 9. Darius made sure Ian was fully stocked up in the lobby and was able to get out as soon as Ian was finished batching. -DL 86ed / counts on items: 86'd Catskills Lager. JH   Prep List: We have ST&B Thursday and Saturday, so let's get ahead of any infusing we may need to do sometime tomorrow. JH Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Amazon (plum bitters), Baldor, & US Foods arriving tomorrow. JH    Maintenance: The lock for the handicap accessible stall in the women restroom on the first floor snapped off somehow. Added to the maintenance blog. -DL The yellow controller stick for the Kung-fu kickball broke. All the pieces are left under the board for the game.

Monday 01.29 Jenn

Manager Communication:   First round was pretty quiet, but the second round filled up a couple of the smaller theaters and The Fan grew to just under 90 tickets over the course of that day.  BAR Staff Observations:  Once we hit the second round, we were able to begin to wind down service.  Maya got out of here shortly after The Fan seated, and Tevon helped Darius pre-close a bit after Lobby was closed.  We were also able to get everyone out of here in a timely manner and still get the frozens cleaned.   86ed / counts on items:  86'd Catskills Black Lager.  Prep List: We will need to make a Winter G&T keg once plum bitters arrive, as we do not have enough in-house for a full batch.  Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Ordered tobacco bitters from Amazon for the Argylle drink special and the Winter G&T.

Sunday 01.28 Ashley/Dana

Manager Communication: Today went as smooth as possible. Down an early mid, but the numbers were low enough for us to be just fine. Kelsey held down theater service and plenty of cocktail orders from the Mezz party. Tevon had lots of walk-ins downstairs. Once Jenna got in, we reset both bars for dinner service. AB Used the last of the Wodka Vodka in house today. AB Calm night at both bars. Kelsey and Tevon got cut right after family meal. Jenna was able to cut out around 8:30 after the last push from Th.1. Darius was great in the lobby. Only needed a bit of help to restock and with filmbot. -DL   BAR Staff Observations:  Kelsey just keeps getting better and better. AB FOH Staff Observations: More and more servers are asking about becoming bartenders. Do we have a running list to double check when/if the time come? -DL  Sick Leave/ Call outs: Miguel, already added to sick shift on schedulefly. AB Special Events?  Mezz party went great (HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUDSON!). The p...

Saturday 01.27 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication:  Busy dinner round throughout the whole building tonight. A lot of last minute jumps but being fully staffed with a all star team made it smooth sailing for the team as a whole. The event memo for tomorrow is in the Event Binder found in Trees. -DL BAR Staff Observations:  These brunch opens have been a thing of beauty these last few weeks.  Business has definitely tapered off from the holiday push, but never to an extent that there isn't plenty of stuff to keep staff busy.  The first mid being scheduled before noon has also been hugely beneficial to keeping up with any first round pushes. JH Had a lot of traffic in Trees tonight simultaneously as the theaters popped off. Gabrielle, Ian and Jeshua were all great with rotating and helping whoever needed a hand. Lydia had some late night action from the last rounds of movies but handled it like the boss she is. -DL FOH Staff Observations:  Opening Saturday servers stay being one of the most ...

Friday 01.26 Jenn/Dana/Ashley

Manager Communication: Quiet start to the day. Tevon and Jeshua advantage of the down time and cleaned the lowboys at both bars. Tevon also knocked out a lot of batching once Gabrielle came in. -DL Thankfully it didn't stay quiet! Solid full Trees crowd for most of the night. Bartenders have gotten the hang of the new buyback system. Natasha took the lead on some sold-out pushes at the drink pass while Matthew supported. Jeshua tackled guests and glassware and left before the last round. Tevon did even MORE batching (what a guy!) and was cut soon after. Gabrielle handled Lobby with some hilarious assistance from Dwight. AB I pushed the 1L Natalies lime juice bottles to the front before opening a new case, if we can just communicate to anyone batching Fire Walk, etc. AB Gabrielle brought to my attention that the Fire Walk With Me portion of the frozen machine in Lobby is freezing over, very similar to the Coconut Lime Slushie side in Trees. Do we have someone that does maintenance o...

Thursday 01.25 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication: Trees had a good crowd in it for most of the night. Had a lot of different cocktails being ordered so Natasha and Tevon bounced back and forth between guests and service tickets. A bottle of Sugar and Violence dropped and broke in lobby bar tonight. Put it through as a spill tab in POS. -DL Customer Comments: Around 10:20 we had a guest from the 9:30 Poor Things come into Trees saying the movie triggered a bit and need to get some space. After talking to her it was evident she may have had too much to drink. We were able to get her friend from the movie to assist her in leaving the building without causing an issue. -DL BAR Staff Observations: It was a great night having all leads in both areas. Everyone seems to understands no more buyback tab. -DL FOH Staff Observations: Servers and runners were great tonight. -DL Special Events? Taxi Driver brought a great rush before and during the screening. Staff Meeting Agenda notes:  Explained the new buyback pos p...

Wednesday 01.24 Dana/Ashley

Manager Communication: Gloomy day outside kept things pretty quiet today. Took the down time to get ahead on the bubblers in lobby bar as well as restocking and organizing the backup liquor. Gabrielle and Matthew coordinated cutting fruit and juicing between both of them in order to stock both bars. -DL Gabrielle got out of here pretty fast. I'm glad we hung on to Matthew because the bar got PACKED with Live Wire folks. It was a sight for sore eyes. Once they ushered into the theater we were able to get Matthew out of here. Jeshua helped reset Kelsey before he left. AB Could we mention in our Weekly Bar Email the roll-up situation in Trees? This has always been the opening bartenders responsibility to make sure we have them. It was noticed during our busy Trivia service by runners who informed an MOD. Whenever I have mentioned this to bar staff in the past, I'm told there isn't any available silverware in the kitchen. Bar team is scheduled 30 minutes before the first serve...

Tuesday 01.23 Dana/Jenn

Manager Communication: Quiet start to the day with a gradual build throughout the day in Trees as we get closer to Trivia. Darius was great with communication and covering needs of the bar without too many instructions. -DL Dinner round did well for a weeknight, and the last round (with the exception of an early Th7) was very chill.  Trivia definitely dominated Trees' attention tonight, with another full bar and floor. JH Customer Comments:  Had a guest come in shortly before 10:30pm, looking to buy tickets for the 10:00pm Mean Girls.  Lobby had already closed their gate at 10:15, as 10 was the latest showtime.  He went upstairs and asked Tevon about ticketing, and then asked for a manager once Tevon explained that our box office was closed for the day.  I basically gave him the same information, and explained that we do not sell tickets to any of our screenings fifteen minutes past showtime.  He didn't get loud or aggressive, but he definitely interrogate...

Monday 01.22 Jenn/Ashley

Manager Communication: Very chill day, with Midnight Run doing the most work. Openers were cut early in the evening. Kelsey handled Lobby swimmingly while Darius was the star of the show in Trees. The Bobby B-Sides  showings have been bringing in a fun drinking crowd at the bar, I think more drinks ordered were shaken/stirred than not. AB BAR Staff Observations: Darius really held his own in Trees. He creates a friendly inviting vibe that guests are drawn to. AB FOH Staff Observations: Christian was a lot of help tonight! AB Special Events?  I was able to get ahead and print and prep a bunch of stuff for Trivia tomorrow.  We now have more QR code menus and answer packets, as well as pre-printed Specials Menus (we can just run what we did last week as we still have a fair amount in stock).  They're all in a manila TRIVIA folder in my mailbox.  If openers could print out the picture round, we should be all set for tomorrow evening. JH Staff Meeting Agenda notes...

Sunday 01.21 Ashley/Dana

Manager Communication: Started this cold day off with some beautiful humans: Kelsey, Maya, and Miguel. Typical brunch service with plenty of coffee and cocktails going out. Jack helped me get the NFL game on and by 4:30 we had a full bar with guests enjoying the atmosphere. Once Tevon got in, we stocked up both bars and cut Miguel. Maya helped get us through one more steady push before heading out. AB Steady evening throughout the theaters. Kelsey came up to Trees to help support through the rushes but was able to clock out around 7:30. Tevon supported Jeshua in trees until about 10:30 due to a lot of walkins ordering cocktails. Darius had no issues in lobby all night. -DL BAR Staff Observations: Maya, as usual, was so attentive to the cleanliness of Trees Lounge. It definitely enhances the guests experience. AB FOH Staff Observations:  Lots of help today from Brendan and Jay. AB 86ed / counts on items: Old Fashioned is on a count Prep List:  Got us back up on Rosemary Pomegr...

Saturday 01.20 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication:  Opened up busy with Th1, 3, & 4, but service and sales were paced out enough that neither bar was ever overwhelmed.  Trees got a great crowd after Taxi Driver let out, and bartenders have mentioned that plenty of weekend Trees guests, especially on Friday nights, are coming in for the happy hour specials. JH Tonight stayed steady up until the last round in TH1 and we had a lot of walkins in Trees throughout the night. Was nice having the game on for a few people who were looking for a place watch it. DL BAR Staff Observations:  Having both mids in today meant that Trees was staffed solely by Leads for a bit of the early afternoon, which was very helpful with regards to the crowd at Trees and continued service pushes.  Miguel and Natasha were great about communicating garnish needs at open, and Miguel very helpfully brought up two large stacks of glassware to Trees before doors.  Matthew was primarily up at Trees, but was able to float...

Friday 01.19 Jenn/Ashley

Manager Communication:  Even with the weather, we had a normal busy Friday service. Mean Girls & Poor Things still keeping us on our toes with heavy drinking crowds. Plenty of guests were in no rush to go back outside, and stayed for a drink or two at Trees which was nice. After the dinner round, Natasha stocked Trees and Tevon hit up bar prep. Darius and Tevon got cut around the same time. Gabrielle, Matthew, and Natasha held it down for the rest of the evening. AB  Can we get a new key for Lobby Bar that opens the projection/lost-n-found/merch room? We get a lot of calls during busy service to unlock doors. AB BAR Staff Observations:  Shoutout to Darius helping me move around some kegs! AB FOH Staff Observations:  Brendan Catan finally put his hat in the ring as a server interested in our bar program. I know we're not in need of a new bartender at the moment, but he is someone I would very much consider. He has bar-backed in the Lower East Side and is one of th...

Thursday 01.18 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication:  Had a good amount of traffic in Trees during the dinner round but it completely cleared out way before last call. Tevon was able to get some batching done in the down time before we got Jeshua out of here a bit early. -DL Customer Comments: There was a guest that didn't feel well during the 6:45 showing of Poor Things in Th2. Dani helped him down stairs to trees where he went to the restroom. After a about 5 mins I went in to check in on him and he was completely fine. He said he felt dizzy for a moment and just wanted to get away from everyone as his wife continued to enjoy the movie. After some water in Trees we let him return to his seat where his wife met him. Dani checked his tab and it was only 2 Estrellas and a Queso and after speaking to him it didn't seem alcohol or food related. Possible he just felt dizzy from sitting in the back of Th2. -DL BAR Staff Observations: Ian seems to be feeling a lot better compared to last week. Moving a lot faste...

Wednesday 01.17.24 Dana/Ashley

Manager Communication: Pretty chill day in the theaters, & Trees Lounge stayed busy considering. Gabrielle kicked it with us until Matthew was done batching.  Inheritance had the bar packed, and everyone flooded into TH2 when it opened. Darius (an angel) worked a long Lobby shift for the team, and swung up to Trees to help Matthew reset. AB I re-communicated with Vlad all the snow spots for Friday. He closes Thursday and is going to put down plenty of salt, Sergo opens that Friday morning. AB  One of our space heaters was borrowed from Lobby bar for TH7? I still can't find our second. I agree, this building was freezing today, but not as cold as facing the front doors all night. Should we order a few more for server stations? AB BAR Staff Observations: Jeshua contacted us technically an hour before shift informing us he couldn't make it today. Darius was already okay with working the long shift in Lobby. I know we discussed Jeshua going down to 4 days a week but we may ne...

Tuesday 01.16 Jenn/Nick/Dana

Manager Communication: A calm night compared to recent days but gave us a chance to catch up on batching from the holiday weekend. Still no word back from Jeshua. Darius is okay with working a longer shift tomorrow to close lobby in his place if needed. The changes have already been made in Schedulefly. Will double back and look into the rest of his shifts if we don't get word from him tomorrow. -DL BAR Staff Observations: Tashi seems a lot more comfortable in Trees. Just needed a reminder to check the cleaning responsibilities. Ian was able to handle lobby well tonight even with his back pains. Still moving at a slower pace than usual but didn't have any complaints during his shift tonight. -DL  Special Events?  This morning's event went really smoothly, and the crowd was honestly one of the nicest, easiest ones we have ever hosted a private event for.  Flew through a bunch of coffee, juice, and mimosas, but were always prepared with a restock. JH 86ed / counts on item...

Monday 01.15 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication:  Nonstop from doors all the way into the last round, but everyone absolutely crushed it.  We should definitely staff six bartenders all day next year, because I was essentially glued to Trees Lounge all day, except for lobby calls and keg changes. JH Another busy evening but the team did great even with being down a bartender. Tomorrow will need a good amount of batching since we couldn't get around to it tonight. I spoke to the porters about giving extra love to the mats for the bars. The bartenders expressed that they been extra sticky the last few days to the point Kelsey almost tripped at one point. -DL  BAR Staff Observations:  Like I said above, service was relentless today.  Lydia and Maya did a great job setting up both bars for a very busy open, and getting all the glassware distributed between both bars before we opened doors definitely kept us ahead of service.  Kelsey was super helpful floating between bars to cover for re...

Sunday 01.14 Ashley/Dana

Manager Communication : An excellent team made this morning look easy! Matthew and Miguel were ready to go at doors, and Gabrielle in at 11:30 was a huge help. Sundays on Fire was a big hit today. Mean Girls sold out back to back in TH1 and TH2 while 4 and 6 stayed steady. Smaller theaters downstairs ended up selling out as well, and Miguel was quick to communicate when he needed assistance. AB Can we order more creamer ramekins? I broke out what we had in the liquor room but we're still pretty short. AB A busy evening throughout the whole building. Ashley was able to do a bit of batching before cutting out while Trees and Lobby pushed through their rushes. Gabrielle put her shift up for Tuesday's event. Her mother surgery was pushed to that morning so she's currently looking for a switch or coverage. -DL Customer Comments:  Had a lot of guest lost leaving the theaters to find the bathroom.  A handful of people came out the staff side for Th1 and 2 and another found their ...

Saturday 01.13 Jenn/Ashley

Manager Communication:  Busy day, with Mean Streets really setting the tone for every showtime afterwards.  Plenty of close to sold out showings, and Trees had a steady crowd from 3pm onwards.  I expect tomorrow to be similar, due to the Monday holiday. JH Service got a little difficult in the nighttime. With tight turns and all sold out theaters, glassware was spread very thin. Servers were very attentive and helpful tonight with pre-bussing. We will just have to try to stay on top of it again tomorrow. Other than that, a pretty normal close. Darius held it down solo in Lobby with absolutely zero issue. Gabrielle and Jeshua somehow kept up that energy through the rest of the evening. AB Customer Comments:  Around 3:15pm, Matthew walkied for a manager to come to Lobby immediately.  When I got there he told me a guest had come out of a theater and was calling 911 and asked for our address, but had returned to the theater before saying what had happened.  Luc...

Friday 01.12 Jenn/Ashley

Manager Communication: Okay so, we have a new Barbenheimer in town. Mean Girls plus Poor Things equals POOR GIRLS! Happy to say that bartenders got back into the groove of a busy service, fast. Lots of product went out, got made, and repeat. The Burn Book cocktail did extraordinarily well, that batch is on the third shelf due to space. AB The lobby key broke in the soda room door, thankfully I was able to pry the broken piece out with sheer force of will. That being said, that lock has been a problem for some time. It might finally be time to replace. AB When batching, Matthew showed me the demerara syrup had a layer of mold on the top. Obv, that got tossed, but we had that backup behind another demerara in the walk-in for some time. We should probably slow our roll on that going forward now that it only goes in the Old Fashioned batch. AB Customer Comments: A guest in the last TH2 round brought to Jose's attention that her tonic water tasted like it had alcohol in it. It was rem...

Thursday 01.11 Jenn/Ariel

BAR Staff Observations: Honestly just S/O everyone today. Gabi, Jeshua, and Tashi were all great. AB FOH Staff Observations:  Big S/O to Atlas, Kelsey, Jovani, and Brendan tonight for the Trees level servers. They killed it and took a bunch of trays. AB Sick Leave/ Call outs:  Kelsey will be working Ian's shift this coming Monday. JH  Prep List:  I was able to batch an N/A Spritz today.  We only have 6 bottles of Rittenhouse in the liquor room and very little at both bars so I was unable to batch Old fashioned. We are also pretty low on Sugar & Violence so that should be batched tomorrow. AB  Over/Short on Banks: Filmbot was under by $5.00 AB Pay Outs:  $16.00 (Tablecloth Laundry) JH Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Baldor, Stumptown, & US Foods arriving tomorrow. Spoke with SKI and Skurnik, and both deliveries should be delivered tomorrow, too. JH Maintenance:  The Th4/6 printer at Trees got knocked off the bar just after doors, and tor...

Wednesday 01.10 Jenn/Ashley

Manager Communication:   Easy Wednesday over here in Prospect Park. Once the closing team got in, Matthew batched us up. Kelsey hung around Trees for the Poor Things push. Lydia showed her how to break down the bubblers, & Kelsey and Matthew were cut around the same time soon after. AB The new N/A Ruby Hibiscus Wine sold really well today. We have plenty in stock, just something to keep an eye on when ordering! AB BAR Staff Observations: Lydia has gotten into a good groove with these Trees closes. Honestly, so much improvement. Matthew continues to go above and beyond and was a great help behind the scenes tonight. I think in general, bartenders could be doing a better job prioritizing their financial drop at close. AB FOH Staff Observations: Some of the newer servers have been mixing dirty and clean glass racks at Trees, as well as bringing down glassware after last call.  I'll include a note in this week's bar email so that we are double checking racks when necessary. J...

Tuesday 01.09 Nick/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Trivia was a bit more mellow than usual, on account of the weather.  Maybe had about 2/3 of the usual crowd.  But it was still a bop, and I was able to get openers out of here shortly after Trivia kicked off, as most second round screenings were well into service by that point. JH Special Events?  There were no tablecloths left for Trivia.  I reached out to Chenelle and she said that she had dropped them all off at the laundromat today to get them cleaned, and had forgotten to mention it. We were able to borrow the DJ tablecloth for the night, which I will drop off to be cleaned this week. JH Staff Meeting Agenda notes:  Two of the cleaning solutions at the Trees glasswasher were empty when I came in today.  I'll include a note in the weekly email to for bartenders to keep an eye on it, but just a reminder for bar managers to check on them, too. JH 86ed / counts on items: 86'd Catskills Black Lager, Peach Tea, & Shiner Bock,...

Monday 01.08 Ashley

Manager Communication: Pretty smooth Monday. Cut Jeshua after family meal when both bars were set. Lydia stayed for the busy TH2 Poor Things and TH4 Iron Claw . I was able to cut Lydia once Darius was reset with product and glassware. Darius and Tevon both cruised through this night no problem. Frozen machines were cleaned. The walkie charger in Trees officially broke. I tossed it and replaced it with the bar prep walkie charger for now. I noticed on my way out the little freezer is freezing over/not able to close properly. Darius and I worked on it enough to get it shut, but it needs to be reset in the AM. I went on a side-quest for a milk crate to organize the open bottles in the walk-in (they constantly fall between the wall and the shelf). It looks really cute. Side-quest complete. Nathaniel helped me organize the kegs, but lets be honest, I did all the heavy-lifting.  Chenelle got back to me, and we are good to start karaoke whenever! I think kicking it off second week of Febr...

Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". In this instance, bartenders simply cut the recipe with a little club soda. I haven't seen any physically s...

Saturday 01.06 Jenn/Nick

Manager Communication:  Wizard of Oz did great this morning, lots of families and groups.  Service was busy at both bars throughout the day, with plenty of theaters selling out or getting close to it on all three floors throughout the day. JH The bar was surprisingly full all night for how bad the weather was. We had several large parties that were only here for the bar. Good Stuff. -ND The Power switch to the coffee machines is on the back lower right of the machine. It is hard to get to in trees, you have to climb under that prep table to reach it. All it needed was a reset though. -ND Note to ordering manager next year. Order 4 times as much NA Product for the first week of January. -ND BAR Staff Observations:  Great work today, with Miguel and Natasha getting both bars well set up before a very busy start this morning.  Matthew was a champ at toggling between bars as needed, and batching us up to get ready for the dinner rounds.  Solid work and communication...

Friday 01.05 Ashley

Manager Communication: An all-lead Friday (Gabrielle is an honorary lead in my honest opinion)!! It went a long way. Tevon helped Ian and Matthew in Trees until Natasha got in. He reset Lobby and prepped so much product for us. Gabrielle had quite the busy night and held her own as usual. Ian worked the pass for multiple sold-out shows and Natasha jumped right in once he left. After 5:30, it never dwindled down. All bartenders really kept up the hustle. AB The ice machine in Trees was not operational this morning, as well as the hot water from the coffee machine. After multiple attempts to restart, I had to change the filters. Nick walked me through it and I used Ian for his height. We ended up looking like we got off a water ride, but you guys, I can officially change those when necessary. It did in fact bring the ice machine back to life so we are set for brunch tomorrow. The coffee machine, however, is still only pouring cold water. I restarted it a few times, but the sensor screen...

Thursday 01.04 Jenn/Ariel

Manager Communication:  Quiet start, which gave us time to really dive into making sure both bats were set up heading in to the weekend. JH   BAR Staff Observations:  Ticket sales were pretty mellow (with the exception of some second round screenings) but we had five bartenders scheduled due to the canceled ST&B.  Natasha took the cut, and each bar ran with two bartenders. JH Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Baldor & US Foods arriving tomorrow. JH Maintenance: Vlad should me a toilet in the 1st floor mens bathroom that is broken/leaking. When the toilet gets flushed, it shoots a lil bit of water out the back just underneath the "pipe" where the flusher is. The contact between the "pipe" and the actual toilet is just not fully sealed/connected. Vlad mopped around it and put an "Out of Order sign." He said that this is his 4th time doing this.  Filmbot Issues: Not a big issue but there was a moment where someone wanted to get 3 tickets for "The Col...

Wednesday 01.03 Dana/Ariel

Manager Communication: Nothing much really happened tonight. I would just anticipate a lil Trees pop before these Deniro movies this month. Wasn't anything too crazy but was a nice push. -AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Everyone was great today. It was Ashley's last bartending shift. Tears were had. I poured a lil out for her. Sad day truly. Outside of that... Ash switched with Darius and he was pretty much mid in Trees. Trees had a solid pop before Godfather pt. 2. Then we had a solid busy round because Th. 1 was pretty much sold out. Major s/o to Lydia. I really thought she was gangsta tonight. She was handling tickets and guests and was just really on top of everything. Darius was good as usual and Jeshua was coolin' by himself down in the lobby all night and we did not have any serious rushes on the first floor.  -AB2 86ed / counts on items: Shiner Bock is currently on a count -DL Prep List: Ashley knocked out a small amount of batching to get ahead. -DL Ordering/Receivin...

Tuesday 01.02 Jenn/Nick/Dana

Manager Communication: Calm night throughout the building. Tokyo Godfather had a small push of drinks in the beginning but nothing overwhelming. Ashley was able to cut out after doing some batching and Jeshua was able to stay an extra half hour to help support through the small push. Maya was able to handle Trees solo the rest of the night as Darius closed the lobby. -DL Customer Comments: Had a pair of guests who asked for a Hakunta Matata with rum instead to make it more of a rum punch. Obviously we can't do that since it's prebatched but Darius was able to make them one with the juices we have on hand. Should we create a spec for it in the binder since this may become a frequent request for the non-scotch drinkers? -DL BAR Staff Observations: Maya was great with bouncing between handling service bar and guests who were walking into Trees with questions. I'm not use to closing with her solo but I was pleasantly impressed by her speed and attitude throughout the shift.  -...

Monday 01.01 Nick/Ashley

Manager Communication: Came in after a busy start which seemed to run along smoothly. Ian batched a little bit, then everyone ate a bunch of Chinese food, and the openers were able to get out of here shortly after. Smaller theaters started selling out after the big TH1 Poor Things push, Ian stuck around to help Jenna in Lobby before leaving. Very relaxed end to a whacky week. -AB Our bar keys for Trees seem to be missing? If we can ask bartenders to double-check they didn't bring these home. -AB The water station servers make at the TH7 pass (water pitcher, cups, receipt spike, napkins, etc) is something that I find myself having to break down when making the rounds at the end of the night. I am not against this little station as long as that server in 7 is breaking it down themselves (throwing away their paper trash, dumping out the water). -AB BAR Staff Observations: Just a big old shout out to Gabrielle, Ian, Jenna, Matthew, Miguel, and Tevon. Spirits were high today no matter h...
