Manager Communication: Okay so, we have a new Barbenheimer in town. Mean Girls plus Poor Things equals POOR GIRLS! Happy to say that bartenders got back into the groove of a busy service, fast. Lots of product went out, got made, and repeat. The Burn Book cocktail did extraordinarily well, that batch is on the third shelf due to space. AB

The lobby key broke in the soda room door, thankfully I was able to pry the broken piece out with sheer force of will. That being said, that lock has been a problem for some time. It might finally be time to replace. AB

When batching, Matthew showed me the demerara syrup had a layer of mold on the top. Obv, that got tossed, but we had that backup behind another demerara in the walk-in for some time. We should probably slow our roll on that going forward now that it only goes in the Old Fashioned batch. AB

Customer Comments:
A guest in the last TH2 round brought to Jose's attention that her tonic water tasted like it had alcohol in it. It was remade and she was perfectly fine afterwords. This was an automatic write-up situation, and Jeshua explained the mix-up and was very apologetic about the whole thing. AB

A woman named Michelle came in tonight to talk about a potential pool league? She said she's emailed us and would like to discuss our spaces availability. I gave her Chenelle's event email as well, but she definitely wants to get in touch regarding this ASAP. AB

BAR Staff Observations:
I hope everyone is having the same experience with Tashi that I am! They absolutely crushed it today. The last 30 minutes of their shift they swung up to Trees to support and took the lead at the pass. They have gotten so attentive, confident, and communicative. It really brought some positivity to a wacky night. AB

FOH Staff Observations: 
Makenna moved us all tonight. Late in the evening on their way out, an older woman was in the rain alone and disoriented. They gave her their sweater, brought down a hot tea, and comforted her before managers got involved. FOH blog has more details, but the police told Daniella and I she has dementia and was reported missing by her husband who eventually came and brought her home safely. Makenna gave us all a lesson in humanity tonight, also we have their sweater. AB

Prep List:
We are all set for a busy start tomorrow, just please charge the N/A Spritzer keg first thing! It kicked late in the evening. We were able to knock out a half batch of the Old Fashioned keg. AB

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
The vinyl stickers I ordered from Amazon for the Mean Girls special never arrived, and had their delivery date pushed back this morning.  I reached out to the seller to ask for a refund, in case anyone gets any emails from Amazon.  I'll update on Monday. JH

Maintenance: 
Added the soda room door handle to the maintenance blog. AB

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
