Monday 01.15 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication: 

Nonstop from doors all the way into the last round, but everyone absolutely crushed it.  We should definitely staff six bartenders all day next year, because I was essentially glued to Trees Lounge all day, except for lobby calls and keg changes. JH

Another busy evening but the team did great even with being down a bartender. Tomorrow will need a good amount of batching since we couldn't get around to it tonight. I spoke to the porters about giving extra love to the mats for the bars. The bartenders expressed that they been extra sticky the last few days to the point Kelsey almost tripped at one point. -DL 

BAR Staff Observations: 

Like I said above, service was relentless today.  Lydia and Maya did a great job setting up both bars for a very busy open, and getting all the glassware distributed between both bars before we opened doors definitely kept us ahead of service.  Kelsey was super helpful floating between bars to cover for restocks and service pushes, and was very proactive about bussing the floor at Trees. JH 

After Jeshua had to leave, we were unfortunately unable to find coverage on the fly, and neither opener was keen to stay until closing.  So, I covered lobby bar for Maya so that she could get in one last restock, and then she was out of here a little after seven.  I worked lobby bar until just before nine, when Trees had gotten through their last big service push, and Dana came down to work lobby until it was time to route. JH

Lydia stayed a bit later to cover family meal afterwards Darius, Kelsey and myself handled the last big pushes. Darius was great with communicating to me while I covered and closed lobby. He was able to clean the frozens before Kelsey left so those are good to go. -DL

I reached out to Jeshua towards the end of the night to check in on him. His next shift is Wednesday so want to get ahead of things just in case he needs more days off. Haven't heard back from him as of yet. -DL

FOH Staff Observations: 

Really great team on this morning and throughout the day, with plenty of people being super helpful all across the building. JH

Sick Leave/ Call outs: 

Jeshua had an emergency and had to leave shortly after arriving for his closing shift. JH

Lobby was especially chilly today, and the thermostat by Th7 was reading the temperature as 65 degrees.  Just something to check on tomorrow morning as temperatures drop. JH
