Wednesday 01.10 Jenn/Ashley

Manager Communication:
Easy Wednesday over here in Prospect Park. Once the closing team got in, Matthew batched us up. Kelsey hung around Trees for the Poor Things push. Lydia showed her how to break down the bubblers, & Kelsey and Matthew were cut around the same time soon after. AB

The new N/A Ruby Hibiscus Wine sold really well today. We have plenty in stock, just something to keep an eye on when ordering! AB

BAR Staff Observations: Lydia has gotten into a good groove with these Trees closes. Honestly, so much improvement. Matthew continues to go above and beyond and was a great help behind the scenes tonight. I think in general, bartenders could be doing a better job prioritizing their financial drop at close. AB

FOH Staff Observations:
Some of the newer servers have been mixing dirty and clean glass racks at Trees, as well as bringing down glassware after last call.  I'll include a note in this week's bar email so that we are double checking racks when necessary. JH

Sick Leave/ Call outs:
Ian has put up his shifts through the weekend, due to issues with his back.  So far, we have gotten his shifts covered, with the exception of Saturday.  Ashley and I are the bar managers Saturday, so we have already discussed how we can fill in any service gaps in case we are unable to get that shift covered. JH

Special Events?
Bar staffing is set for Tuesday's event.  Trees opener that day (Tashi) is scheduled only twenty minutes before doors, as Trees will be ready for service by the time they get in. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Updated all the bar binders with the revised Pomegranate Yuzu Spritzer recipe. JH

86ed / counts on items:
86'ed: Catskill Black Lager, Peach Tea, Shiner Bock. AB

Prep List:
Got a lot done today. There is enough Rosemary Pomegranate Syrup to last the weekend. I would keep an eye on the Cranberry Vanilla Ginger Syrup and Date Syrup, but I got Trees stocked tonight with all backup cheaters. AB

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
The Ruby n/a wine arrived today and was in service by the time the second round started. JH

Maintenance:
Gil and I did a walkthrough of Trees this morning, and it had pretty much dried out overnight.  Pews are back up against the wall, and some of the bricks around the windowsills are still a bit damp. JH

Mobilebytes Issues:
Dear Gil, Paul mentioned that the credit card reader by the main terminal in Trees is too loud #buzzkill, and that you might know how to turn that ferocious beep down a notch? AB
