Friday 01.19 Jenn/Ashley

Manager Communication: 
Even with the weather, we had a normal busy Friday service. Mean Girls & Poor Things still keeping us on our toes with heavy drinking crowds. Plenty of guests were in no rush to go back outside, and stayed for a drink or two at Trees which was nice. After the dinner round, Natasha stocked Trees and Tevon hit up bar prep. Darius and Tevon got cut around the same time. Gabrielle, Matthew, and Natasha held it down for the rest of the evening. AB

 Can we get a new key for Lobby Bar that opens the projection/lost-n-found/merch room? We get a lot of calls during busy service to unlock doors. AB

BAR Staff Observations: 
Shoutout to Darius helping me move around some kegs! AB

FOH Staff Observations: 
Brendan Catan finally put his hat in the ring as a server interested in our bar program. I know we're not in need of a new bartender at the moment, but he is someone I would very much consider. He has bar-backed in the Lower East Side and is one of the most attentive hard-workers Nitehawk has seen. AB

86ed / counts on items: 
Old Fashioned is in Store'N'Pours until we get Rittenhouse. Last Grand Marnier was used for a Fire Walk With Me, and we'll use Giffard triple sec until we're restocked Monday. All Community bottles are behind the bar. All Campari bottles we have are open/in service. AB

Prep List: 
Just a few non-emergencies we didn't have time to get to tonight: cranberry-ginger-vanilla syrup (Cosmopolis), Hakuna Matata. AB

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 
Baldor arriving tomorrow.  Stumptown arriving on Tuesday. JH

Maintenance:
The drain at Lobby Bar under the 3/5 ice well is possibly clogged? Wednesday night Darius showed me that it had overflowed when burning ice but his sanitizer bucket was blocking the pipe. Tonight Gabrielle had the same issue but nothing was in the way of the drain. I squeegee'ed the excess water. Vlad had already left if we can have someone take a look tomorrow morning. AB

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
