Manager Communication:
Quiet start to the day. Tevon and Jeshua advantage of the down time and cleaned the lowboys at both bars. Tevon also knocked out a lot of batching once Gabrielle came in. -DL

Thankfully it didn't stay quiet! Solid full Trees crowd for most of the night. Bartenders have gotten the hang of the new buyback system. Natasha took the lead on some sold-out pushes at the drink pass while Matthew supported. Jeshua tackled guests and glassware and left before the last round. Tevon did even MORE batching (what a guy!) and was cut soon after. Gabrielle handled Lobby with some hilarious assistance from Dwight. AB

I pushed the 1L Natalies lime juice bottles to the front before opening a new case, if we can just communicate to anyone batching Fire Walk, etc. AB

Gabrielle brought to my attention that the Fire Walk With Me portion of the frozen machine in Lobby is freezing over, very similar to the Coconut Lime Slushie side in Trees. Do we have someone that does maintenance on these newer machines? AB

BAR Staff Observations: 
Matthew as always, was a positive blessing to the Nitehawk atmosphere. AB

FOH Staff Observations:
Vincent was on his game tonight! AB

Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
We have several opened bottles of the same product in the walk-in for batching.  I'm guessing bartenders are just forgetting to check the walk in when pulling product, so I will include a note in this week's email. JH

Prep List: 
We are pretty solid going into the weekend! Some very small notes: I used the last of our dried hibiscus for hibiscus syrup (Burn Book). We have around 12 quarts total, which should be just enough to get us through this week and a little into the next. We should get started on Turmeric Ginger Syrup (Y Tu Mama Tambien) if we have a sec! AB

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
