Manager Communication:
Quiet start to the day with a gradual build throughout the day in Trees as we get closer to Trivia. Darius was great with communication and covering needs of the bar without too many instructions. -DL

Dinner round did well for a weeknight, and the last round (with the exception of an early Th7) was very chill.  Trivia definitely dominated Trees' attention tonight, with another full bar and floor. JH

Customer Comments: 
Had a guest come in shortly before 10:30pm, looking to buy tickets for the 10:00pm Mean Girls.  Lobby had already closed their gate at 10:15, as 10 was the latest showtime.  He went upstairs and asked Tevon about ticketing, and then asked for a manager once Tevon explained that our box office was closed for the day.  I basically gave him the same information, and explained that we do not sell tickets to any of our screenings fifteen minutes past showtime.  He didn't get loud or aggressive, but he definitely interrogated me about our policy for a minute, so he may email in the near future. JH

Special Events?
Great Trivia, great Trivia team.  With dedicated table service on the floor, we have been able to run the bulk of Trivia with one bartender on the floor and two behind the bar.  Lobby opener (Jeshua, today) has generally been used to get both bars restocked and reset, and assist with break coverage, which really helps smooth out the tip pool when theaters aren't too packed during dinner round.  Really great work tonight, again.

Had one guest who gave Maya some pushback about outside food (he had brought in a smoothie) near the start of Trivia.  Apparently he's been 'doing it for four years' and disagreed with Maya asking him to put it away.  Maya filled me in and I went to the table and spoke with him, clarifying our rules on outside food and drink, and he seemed pretty bashful by the end, and gave no further pushback throughout the night. JH

Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 
Between meetings and Trivia set up, I did not have a chance to go over the new Buyback ring in situation with Trees bartenders, so there was a buyback check at the end of the night.  I will include the new process in this week's bar email, so everyone will be on the same page by the weekend. JH

Prep List:
Ian was able to knock out a lot of batching to get us back stocked after this weekend. Will need to make Winter GT tomorrow. DL

Over/Short on Banks: 
Trees was a quarter short. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Southern, Union and Empire will arrive tomorrow. -DL

US Foods arriving tomorrow. JH

Maintenance: 
The service well in lobby by the Th3/5 service pass is still draining especially slowly.  The floor drain seems to be pretty clear, but the drain in the ice well appears to have a blockage that we have not been able to dislodge.  If opener can give it a once over tomorrow before we get it set for service, that may help solve the mystery. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
