Friday 10.31.25 / Jenn & Ariel / NPP Bar

Manager Communication:  Chill start to the day, very mellow first round.  Dinner definitely picked up across the floors.  And the third round Frankenstein screening in Th2 has basically sold out the last three nights, which I expect to keep up over the weekend.  JH Customer Comments: A guest in TH3 passed out in the middle of the movie. She was with 2 other homegirls. We made sure she was good and she then got the strength to get up so we brought her to the lobby. After being in the lobby for a bit, they decided to close out all 3 of their tabs. I closed them all out and gave em each a pair of passes since they were missing a bunch of the movie. The one that passed out got an Uber home and her friends hung out for a bit in Tree's and filled out the incident report. Everyone was happy and felt taken care of. James sent an email to the big dawgs. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Everyone was great tonight. I was able to get Tevon and Charlie out pretty early. - AB2 Prep...

Thursday 10.30 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication: During construction, they might turn off the glycol machine and forget to turn it back on. Just take a peak when you open during this time to make sure our beer will be cold by opening.-LB I unloaded the Milagro Liters, so they don't get confused for the big boys. The Boatyard Gin can go there (whenever it arrives) so as to not be confusing for anyone and we can put the liters of milagro on Booze Island.-LB I moved the pineapple cans back to the liquor room as our esteemed bartender Jeshua pointed out to me the condensation-can conundrum. -LB Natasha is down with working trivia as the server going forward, which is great news because she is excellent at it plus it works well with her schedule. I put her on for this Tuesday Nov 4th and will discuss it further with Gus next week.-LB BAR Staff Observations:  Opener in-times were incorrect today (1:30pm, when it should have been 1:15pm).  I text both openers (Greg + Tevon) to let them know once I realized. J...

Wednesday 10/29/25 Ian/Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication: When opening lobby today there was a lot of glass in the brown water racks, I know we have some runners training and some new servers. It is also possible that they ran out of blue racks, if this happens there is usually a stack at Trees or lobby bar with empty glassware blue racks. I gave Jeremy a heads up.-LB BAR Staff Observations: Welcome back Matthew!!! Charlie rocked helping Matthew set up Trees when the techs were working on the lowboy in lobby. And Matthew in turn helped him set up around the technicians. Super good teamwork. -LB Once Jeshua was settled in lobby and the majority of the second round push was over on the ground floor, I had Charlie go upstairs to help out at Trees.  Patrick is so much more organized and efficient in the service well, and barely needed me to call out tickets during either sold out service push.  Charlie focused primarily on bar guests, and Matthew was great about switching between positions giving Charlie clear inst...

Tuesday 10/28/25 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:    Going forward coffee beans will be stored in total at Lobby bar-LB Lots of events this evening getting started right after the bar meeting. Meeting was great - looking forward to some WIcked Part 2 specials! Music Driven had a great crowd, Trivia was packed, and Innocent Blood had a good showing. Very solid Tuesday. - IP Customer Comments: I have really grown to love our Trivia weirdos. Some really good costumes tonight - best of which goes to Lady Pinhead. Great work, ma'am! - IP BAR Staff Observations: Natasha rocks. Any task you put in front of her she handles with authority and ease. Trivia was very busy tonight and she was completely nonplussed. Great to have Darius back at NPP for Trivia - the guests were happy to see him too! Tevon and Lydia pulled long ones today, as Trees was a madhouse once Trivia got underway. Greg is totally self-reliant and on top of everything in the lobby - so I had nothing to worry about tonight - even when the Depeche...

Monday / 10.27.25 / Ariel, Lauren, & Ian / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: I moved the event waters to the bar storage closet. I took a small dunnage rack from the walk-in to put them on, we may want to get another, but we probably have enough shelf space in walk-in without one. -LB The gents helped me move a dunnage shelf and we have an island in the liquor room-LB  I found where the pantry beetles were coming from and they are gone now. Ian also located what was the rank smell in the liquor room, the drain I the middle of the room was stank. I dumped a bunch of the citronella stuff down it before we moved the dunnage rack over it. -LB I think my admin shift being flex on Monday to accommodate helping a busy bar for whatever late cult seating we have is a good idea.-LB I am going to make a master list and send to all bar staff but for now:  Pineapple juice is in the walk-in. Blood Mary mix and bloody Mary concentrate are in the walk-in, this makes room for more syrups for batching purposes to be in the lowboy. -LB AB2 and Lau...

Sunday 10/26/2025 Ian/Gus

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building nice and easy. Aside from Casper showing morning was chill. The private event in theater 3 was great - they ended up staying and partying at Trees well into the afternoon.  Roger, the new runner, wasn't sure if he'd received the runner training guide, so Wyatt and I printed one out and gave him a physical copy. Stan received him and trained him up for the day two tasks.  - IP Pretty sleepy night. Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Natasha and Greg opened up - no notes. Super thorough on both accounts. Nia came in and jumped right in to help with the bar pop at Trees. Patrick got in, and we cut Greg and Nat right at 5. - IP FOH Staff Observations: Hiring/Training: Sick Leave/ Call outs: Special Events? Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 86ed / counts on items: Sauvignon Blanc will likely be 86'd be end of night. On an 8 count now (possibly a few more than that, but to be safe, I have it on 8). - IP -Sauv Blanc ...

Saturday 10.25.25 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication:  First round had some busy pops, and then a bit of a drop off for the second round.  Frankenstein is holding strong in the big theaters. JH The bubbler in the lobby is full and bubbling its heart out. -LB I printed and laminated some coffee specs for the lobby bar. Trying to up our hot coffee game a little.-LB I broke out a rack of pint glasses. I think we should be pretty good on glassware, Ian, if you can see what might need to be replenished once bars are set up tomorrow-LB BAR Staff Observations:  Natasha opened Trees and worked through the first Th1/2 service pushes without issue.  I opened lobby and Tevon came in at 11, just as the Th3 special screening began seating.  After getting through that push downstairs, I was able to get back upstairs to assist Natasha with the tail end of the initial Casper service push and Greg arrived shortly after.  Mellow behind both bars, theater service remained fairly steady at both bars, and ...

Friday 10.24.25 Jenn/Gus/Ariel

Manager Communication: Stacked team. Everyone was here Charlie was in the pass for the final busy round. He is getting his gears but I was pushing him and letting him know that the station was his and that I want him to own it and tell us what he needs. I think he'll be great but want to motivate him to take full control when in the pass. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Charlie and Tevon opened. Really good work. -GS Jeshua absolutely handled Lobby! I was able to get Charlie out of here by 10:00 and Natasha closed Tree's with Jeshua helping out with the tables and bar top. Big shout out goes to Natasha and Jeshua who absolutely bodied the shift and made my job easy tonight. - AB2 Holy heck it got really busy around family meal time. I went behind the bar at 5:15 to help do breaks and was there for 2.5 hours. FOH Staff Observations: Monica and Grace are really on it. Great energy today. Hiring/Training: Updated the bar training doc a bit Sick Leave/ Call outs: Val is out with ...

Thursday 10.23.25 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: Really stacked team tonight. Rebecca, James, Wyatt, Jared. Great communication throughout.  Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Val is hurt, we didn't replace her. We aren't going to replace her tomorrow either. Natasha is a beast. The whole team tonight just really excelled and made me happy FOH Staff Observations: Isobel is awesome. Hiring/Training: New server Rob is cool. He trailed me. We went over rules of the pass, well liquors, cocktails and wine. Shoutout to Ariel who I was told really tackled this job on Friday or Monday and inspired me to really up my game. I think Rob got a thorough learning of bar things and will excel at Nitehawk. He is a good vibe. He asked me where I was from and when I asked him he replied "Greenwich Village." And yes he does play guitar Sick Leave/ Call outs: Val- foot Special Events: Kevin Geeks Out movie did really well and drew a crowd. Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 86ed / counts on items: Prep List:  ...

Wednesday 10/22/25 Ian/Gus/Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication:   Newfest collected two full carts of wine and beer. I added to the CO2 doc and the water doc, thanks for assembling this. -LB Have some big organizational plans for next week when all of our new shelves and bins arrive. We are really settling in and we all love it. I labeled one of the steel cabinets shelf for bar, I will transfer glassware from bar storage if that makes sense next week.-LB BAR Staff Observations:   some really champion bartenders on our team with their flexibility and willingness to cover each other.-LB Got Tevon out of here once Nia was set down at Lobby, and she held it down solo pretty well for the rest of the evening.  I walked her through routing, pre-close tasks, and cash handling, and then did a walkthrough with her once she was done closing.  She did the majority of the work without me shadowing her and her bank/cash drop were also correct, so she is definitely getting into the swing of things.  Patrick hung...

Tuesday 10.21.25 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:  Great bar meeting today. Excited about the upcoming movie slate and cookin' up some new specials. Night was mellow until Warriors screening, which was handled excellently by Tevon and Greg. More on that below. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Greg and Tevon killed the Warriors screening pre-show and drink rush. Tevon got outta here shortly thereafter, and Greg and I handled the rush after the screening.  - IP FOH Staff Observations: So glad Rebecca is back in action - such a reliable presence wherever she's assigned. - IP Special Events? Warriors screening - they got started about twenty minutes late and the talk back ran over as well. Tevon and Greg handled the opening salvo - good lord are we lucky to have them. They are both just, really really good bartenders. Heads always on a swivel, never stop moving. Wonderful examples for our new staff. - IP Prep List: LB made some Tea, I made a couple lemonades and more simple - but the walk-in looks mighty good,...

Monday / 10.20.25 / Ariel, Lauren, & Ian / NPP Bar

Manager Communication:  Gil and Ariel rocked the CO2 leak ahead of the game and did what Coke told me to do. I wrapped- the line and labeled it so no one is confused as to why it is off. I covered the white part on the top that would leak CO2 if it was pressed.  This tends to happen on the empty lines sometimes, so if we ever want to use that line, it is fine we just plug the CO2 tube back in.  I also asked Coca cola to send us some nozzle replacements since ours crack so routinely.-LB Organized another liquor room shelf and ordered more flat plastic things to cover the slats. I think once everything has a place things will be really great.  -LB Ariel and Lauren got us set up for the week nicely. Kegs are all backed up and we're ready to rock. The Hellraiser screening coupled with Shinjuku provided the evening's major business. - IP BAR Staff Observations:   Team was great tonight. Greg stuck around to help with the Hellraiser/Shinjuku double whammy. It was tota...

Sunday 10.19.2025 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication:  As always the CO2 alarm loves to make an entrance. During the dinner rush the Co2 alarm was freaking. The Trees soda lines are leaking from the last black joint all the way on the right, this is seemingly the empty line.  I sprayed the lines with windex and tried to find a leak. Ian tinkered but no avail.   I turned off the line to the Trees soda guns.  This is the little red lever on the left of the shelf.  I put in a service request online with Coke our ticket # is  34176968.-LB  Quiet post-Newfest Sunday. I got all the kegs organized in the walk-in and did some cambro and storage rearranging in the liquor room.  - IP The draft kegs are clean if you can catch us up tomorrow Ariel. I deep cleaned with white vinegar the Negroni and Tom Collins keg. They are all in the liquor room on the freezer.   End of night some jerks were being rude and threatening to the servers and Dion with not leaving theater 6. ...

Saturday 10.18.25 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication: The walk-in is a bit difficult at the moment. I couldn't reach the gas while changing the pilsner keg and got sprayed with beer. Had to climb up on the empty keg to get to the fob. I can't get the empty keg out because it is a hard lift with my recovering elbow, plus it is a critical step stool to get to the plumbing parts.  -LB I unpacked wine onto walk-in shelves, and put away all of the wine delivery that came in this morning. I feel like it is feasible to store all cold wine in the walk-in once the special event inventory depletes.  I hope to have some time to organize the liquor room and set up some systems to make everything a little easier this coming week. -LB I put away a half rack of coupes into bar storage-yay it is empty again. We might need to put more glassware into circulation, there seem to be a lot of empty racks these days, if anyone has thoughts on this.-LB There is another empty keg hiding behind a wall of full kegs I cannot get out, ...

Friday 10.17.25 Jenn/Gus/Ariel

Manager Communication: Solid crew today. Gil opened. Pretty seamless.- GS Kitchen took a case of Old Bardstown. All 12 bottles have been transferred on Foodager. - AB2 I cut 2qts of Grapefruit for the event tomorrow. They are in Tree's in the lowboy where the fruit lives. They are labeled 10.18 because I cut them after midnight for ultimate FRESHness!! - AB2 Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Tevon and Charlie crushed it -GS Jeshua handled thangs in Tree's and Gabrielle killed it in Lobby. No surprises here. - AB2 FOH Staff Observations: Erika was great with Dan today. Justine was always at the right place at the right time. Jovani was on top of things in her theater. Bre was killing it in TH5. Alex was doing his thing in TH3. Good crew tonight of servers. Justin and Eric stood out to me as runners tonight. - AB2 Hiring/Training: I trained Dan through the pass area. I touched on traying up drinks, putting glass racks through dish, where bottles in the well live, wher...

Thursday 10.16.25 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication:  Pretty mellow in the theaters, with NewFest screening and the event dominating the evening. JH Customer Comments: I had a run in with a newfest guest that is documented on another email. BAR Staff Observations: I'm really proud of everyone tonight. Nia got to work with some vets, they ruled the event.  FOH Staff Observations:  Anthony was very hands-on helpful at the Trees service pass while running drink support for the second round in Th1. JH Special Events?  Gus led a pre-shift meeting with the Trees bartenders (Natasha, Nia, & Tevon) about an hour before the T4T event kicked off.  We reviewed all the nitty gritty and then Natasha and Tevon really took the lead in setting up the bar for ease of service.  Tevon was a great help, having worked the Queer Media Mixer on Tuesday, which had a very similar menu and set up. JH Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 86ed / counts on items: Prep List: R&D comp checks: Over/Short on Banks:...

Wednesday 10/15/25 Ian/Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication:  There is a lot of soda right now, my apologies, guessing what we would need for Monday was overly ambitious. -LB Please keep your eyes on the cheaters when empty, bring them back to liquor room and leave them on the lowboy so we don't lose track of them. -LB I added the tiny white board from the old liquor room and it is now above the POS at lobby bar so we can write 86ed items for bartenders. -LB Liquor room is slowly becoming an awesome organized palace. Exciting times!!!-LB BAR Staff Observations:  Tevon helped me out with FF, and Jeshua headed upstairs to get through the Th1 NewFest screening with Gabrielle and Nia.  Once that settled down, Tevon was able to get out of here, and then Nia stuck around for another hour or so to help Gabrielle with the post-screening crowd from both NewFest screenings.  Otherwise, everything wound down shortly after eleven and Gabrielle and Jeshua closed both bars without issue. JH Special Events?  Newfe...

Tuesday 10-14-25

Manager Communication:  In the future I think some sort of compostable drinkware would be helpful for this event. It is too hard to bus. -LB Moesha (spelling is wrong) has a dog sitting on her lap during the party at Trees. Still very illegal. -LB Lauren and Desmond share game ball tonight. Lauren stuck around WAYYYY later than anticipated (as it was an absolute madhouse from 9:30 all the way through midnight) and we couldn't have gotten through it without her handling the service pass when needed and batching stuff we were running out of. I shook off the rust and got behind the stick from about 9:30-11:30 - just like ridin' a bike! Desmond was a dream handling the more particular Newfest staff. More on that below! - IP BAR Staff Observations:   We have some hardworking bartenders. Big ups to Ian for handling a massive bar onslaught.-LB Greg came up right when we rerouted the lobby to help with the last hour of the party - absolutely smashed it. Jumped right in and got his bea...

Monday 10-13-25 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Some fruit flies at Trees lounge, could be because FWWM froze out of it's chamber overnight or the random mop that is in the dishpit. I treated the floor drains with citronella fly killer.-LB The OF keg we have been concerned is leaking may have been a gas leak? current keg was leaking. I opened it, moved gasket then it was fine.  The out side keeps pushing the out line off, this one may be broken. I am leaving it on for now. Note if it is a problem. -LB We are using two empty kegs for holding space (lol) for the Newfest beers/wines. Hopefully we will go through a bunch tomorrow before keg delivery wednesday. -LB Newfest crowd is great. Trees was boppin for the sold out theater one screening, and they bring a fun energy. Wyatt and Chelsea were on their game tonight - everything went nice and smooth. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Jeshua cleaned Trees Lounge like a lead. Immaculate.  He is so solid, I would love if we could integrate him into the bar prep...

Sunday 10/12/25 Gus/Lauren

Manager Communication: It was an all hands on deck day. Teamwork at NPP rocks though-LB Gus was here til 7 helping catch us up when it got berserk.-LB Nia bumped her head on the service pass in  lobby bar, I filled out an incident report. -LB It felt there may have been a silverware shortage at some point today. We needed roll-ups at Trees, but no silverware to be grabbed. Figured I would note this ahead of the busy time of year. -LB BAR Staff Observations:   I cut Charlie and pushed back Patrick-GS Gus made a call to cut Nia, she didn't understand and came to work anyway. I will route lobby at 10.  Long shifts for Nia and Patrick due to business levels being busy busy.-LB   FOH Staff Observations: Everyone helping out when they could on dishes, getting racks earlier would help bar be ready for the onslaught of a new seating as glassware needs to get clean, cooled and reset for use. -LB Runners fucking smashed it today. Really supportive vibes, love George, Just...

Saturday 10.11.25 Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Rebecca and I opened this building with authority. Felt like Bibby and Webber. Wyatt came in around opening. The morning wasn't crazy at all. And if it was, you would have never known due to how we were just on it. -GS Decently busy night, with big theaters selling really well (except for Tron: Ares in Th2's last round) and plenty of the smaller theaters filling up, too.  Trees had a decent crowd throughout the night, plenty of folks just here for the bar, but it was pretty quiet from 11:00pm onwards. JH Customer Comments:  Nothing of note. -GS Had some guests at Trees Lounge around 9:30pm who were a bit put out that we charged them a cake cutting fee for an outside dessert.  Ultimately, I brought them up a plate and silverware which they declined and they remained up on Mezz.  I wonder if we should have some small signage at Trees to explain?  They definitely thought myself and the bartenders were just making it up. JH  Edited...

Friday 10.10.25 Jenn/Gus/Ariel

Manager Communication: Jenn was in for inventory. Held it down. I had a to run to NWB, was back by open. Flawless open by Jenn. Sleepy opening. Charlie held it down. Matthew and Natasha came in and took control. BAR Staff Observations: Matthew and Natasha absolutely BODIED Tree's tonight. Maya did her thing in the Lobby! - AB2 Prep List: Tevon made a batch of Bloody Mary Concentrate that he told me he put too much salt in. I tried it and it does. In an attempt to save product, I would just make another batch of it sans salt & celery salt and divide that in half. I think it'll still taste good. I couldn't get to it today so I left his batch in the prep Lowboy and have it labeled. Let me know what y'all decide because I can always do this next time I am here. - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Tons of stuff today. Empire, Skurnik, Southern (to NWB on accident)

Thursday / 10.9.25 / Ariel & Gus / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: Ariel and James started the day off right. Gil held it down and helped get things organized. Wyatt and Jared were super helpful on the floor. Customer Comments: Nothing of note BAR Staff Observations: Cut Natasha today due to sales. Everything has been updated on 7Shifts. - AB FOH Staff Observations: Anthony really crushed tonight. Sick Leave/ Call outs: None Special Events: Spoons was pretty tame.  Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 86ed / counts on items: Prep List: I made Cherry Grove Ariel made pumpkin coco lopez Tomorrow: Cherry Grove (time permitting) FWWM Lemonade Bounty R&D comp checks: Over/Short on Banks: Pay Outs: Lost & Found: A guy lost his phone, but came back to get it and was so pumped he tipped the bar $20. Cool dude. Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Received Baldor, Empire, Homecoming, & Manhattan today - AB2 Shoutout to Ariel who took in a lot of orders today and did some walk-in organizing Maintenance:  Mobilebytes Issues: Filmb...

Wednesday 10.08.25 Ian/Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication:  OBAA dominates and The Smashing Machine hibernates. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Pretty mellow day behind both bars with several pops at the service passes, but nothing out of the ordinary.  Really strong team and great communication between bars. JH Special Events?  Runners came through.  They were sweaty and thirsty, and were all closed out by 9:30pm. JH 86ed / counts on items:  High Noon is on a count (11). JH Prep List: Mr & Mrs. Tom Collins keg is prepped and charged in the walk-in.  I forgot that we are keeping Simple in the liquor room, so now we have a lot of Simple.  I left a note on the newer batch to tell bartenders to FIFO. JH Maintenance:  Trees triple-tumbler frozen machine continues its icy tantrum.  New parts are imminent. JH We hooked up a new box of Root Beer at Lobby during service, but the syrup would not travel through the line to the gun.  If you press Root Beer, only Club Soda co...

Tuesday 10-7-25 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Great bar meeting today with all of us. Very helpful to have a meeting of the minds.-LB I am going to be off the grid tomorrow until Saturday, if you need me you can text me and I will possibly get the message in town. I will pass on my upstate phone number to Gus if anyone needs me via landline.-LB We got the plastic sheeting we can cover the slats in the liquor room or in the walk-in on the wine shelf to prevent bottles falling.  We got the magnetic hooks for the steel wall. I will leave them magnetized to the top of bar prep.  We also got the lid racks for our pots, Matthew if Juan can mount them on the side walls above the freezer or any other out of way place.-LB BAR Staff Observations: Had Lydia help out with Trivia upstairs - Matt, Tevon and Maya are PROFESSIONALS. Greg was absolutely chilling in the lobby. Smooth night. - IP Special Events? Trivia, pre-code film. Had some guests decked out in 1940's garb for the pre-code screening. They looked aw...

Monday 10.06.25 Jenn/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: I ordered two things for mise en place server stations for the coffee stirrers, skewers and cocktail picks.-LB BAR Staff Observations: Tonight's sold out Scream was illuminating. Nia is great when she's part of the team, but when she's in the driver's seat she gets a little squirrely. She really took the "take your time" note a little too much to heart, and the tickets were backing up at an alarming pace. I jumped in to help get her out of the weeds - Greg was busy tending to the very busy bar (one of those screenings where half the crowd waits til the last second to go in while the other half is ordering in the theater), and we got through it fine, just a little more stressfully than we want. Just pointing it out that we can all look to provide a little more guidance for Nia when she is working shifts where more of the responsibility falls squarely on her - I feel I was able to do that a little bit tonight once the crazy rush had calme...

Sunday 10.05.2025 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: Chill brunch. Sundays on Fire was good, OBAA is still strong and The Smashing Machine can't pay people to come see it. Put a nice dent in prep for the rest of the day/beginning of the week.  -IP It seems that the cold weather mentality is upon us. Let's reinforce bartenders brewing a second urn of coffee for each bar when the closers come in.  I also dropped cinnamon sticks at both bars for toddies. Keep an eye on honey syrup levels.-LB I would love to put up those Nightmare before Christmas spot lights in Trees on the wall if possible for Halloween decor? -LB Customer Comments: The feedback about the new menu items has been furiously positive across the board. -LB BAR Staff Observations: Patrick is a literal darling and changed a Gansett even though I was right there.  Love to see it. I threw Nia in the service pass for the sold out OBAA 7:45. She did well, worked on some things. Emphasized slowing down. Charlie also needing some correcting in the...

Saturday 10.04.25 Jenn/Lauren

Manager Communication: Keeping up with busy season stock levels has and is continuing to be a challenging situation in the current bar prep status. I look forward to settling in ASAP. But as always, our bar team is impressive.-LB  I listed yuzu lemonade and vodka as the mystery cocktail to unload.-LB I don't know if we can officially nominate the veggie burger for an Oscar, but it does feel like it will make enough theater appearances to be considered. I am spreading the word.-LB Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations:  Really smooth morning behind both bars.  Staffing levels were appropriate and everyone seems to have transitioned to our new menu offerings pretty seamlessly. JH FOH Staff Observations: Katie helping out with dishes. All the servers helping by stepping back in the pass. Everyone is working hard now that we are at full throttle again. -LB Sick Leave/ Call outs:  Jeshua was still feeling unwell, so Gabrielle will be working his lobby close shift t...

Friday 10.03.25 Jenn/Gus/Ian

Manager Communication: Menu Change Day was a smashing success! Great job to all of the openers who set up the rest of the evening for success. It really seemed like everyone locked in at the meeting and thoroughly prepared for today - across the board very smooth service, and a relatively seamless integration of the new menu items. Wonderful work, everyone! - IP BAR Staff Observations: Tevon and Matt are the opening dream team - and then having two more leads coming in to close was positively luxurious. Hung on to Matt until after the last round of OBAA had finished its initial rush, then Charlie and Nat absolutely crushed the close. Gab was easy breezy down in the lobby. Great job all around - IP  FOH Staff Observations: Tiffany made a good observation that I hadn't considered before -- the Skog looks almost exactly like the Orange Wine, and as it is also served in a rocks glass, there is very little differentiation - and we want to be extra sure we're not mixing up an N/A bev...

Thursday 10.02.25 Ian/Lauren/Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication:  Decently busy first round to start the day, and the dinner round kept up the pace.  Really nice start to the day. JH Binders are done. All the docs for bars and bar preps wall labeled in bar prep basket. Labels for taps in there. Ginger/ancho/amaretto already at both bars. -LB Jeshua was running a temp so we told him to go home.  Gabrielle held it down in trees then in the lobby Customer Comments:  A bunch of the kids from the first round screening of Gabby came down to Lobby and spontaneously began doing anti-Trump chants, which was a nice change of pace from the usual shrieks. JH BAR Staff Observations: Natasha, Matthew and Gabrielle are life savers.  FOH Staff Observations: Special Events? Staff Meeting Agenda notes:  The all-staff menu change meeting went well.  Bar got to cover Trees Lounge specifics and the tasting in Th3 went well. JH 86ed / counts on items: Prep List:  We have ST&B this Saturday and next Thur...

Wednesday 10/1/25 Lauren/Ian/Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication:  I moved the Film Feast tower of glassware to the 4/6 server station. That is where it will leave for the foreseeable future, or forever if that is cool. -LB I cleaned lobby Frozens, did not get to do the upstairs machines. They were on slush. -LB BAR Staff Observations: Everyone really rolled with the punches today, and all switches and such were settled by 6:00pm and service went off without any issue.  Matthew and Tevon got out of here a little before eight, and Gabrielle and Jeshua held down each bar solo for the rest of the night.  Jeshua was really great with helping guests find there way to their appropriate theater based, and rocked a very busy lobby service without issue.  Little bit sleepier up at Trees, so Gabrielle made quick work of pre-closing when it got quiet a little after ten. JH    FOH Staff Observations:  I love Evan. So friendly and wonderful when I was in 4/6 station with the Film Feast glassware. We really ...
