Manager Communication:
Rebecca and I opened this building with authority. Felt like Bibby and Webber. Wyatt came in around opening. The morning wasn't crazy at all. And if it was, you would have never known due to how we were just on it. -GS
Decently busy night, with big theaters selling really well (except for Tron: Ares in Th2's last round) and plenty of the smaller theaters filling up, too. Trees had a decent crowd throughout the night, plenty of folks just here for the bar, but it was pretty quiet from 11:00pm onwards. JH

Nothing of note. -GS
Had some guests at Trees Lounge around 9:30pm who were a bit put out that we charged them a cake cutting fee for an outside dessert. Ultimately, I brought them up a plate and silverware which they declined and they remained up on Mezz. I wonder if we should have some small signage at Trees to explain? They definitely thought myself and the bartenders were just making it up. JH
Edited to add: The guests mentioned above were incredibly upset about having to pay the cake cutting fee, and tried to argue that they had not even eaten the dessert they brought after closing out. One guest in particular noted that they weren't allowed to light birthday candles and called me and the whole thing 'ridiculous and petty.' I reiterated our outside food policy and they chose to not leave a tip and left. JH

I really want to shout out Maya & Matthew. Just studs. Willing to do what is needed to make things happen. -GS
Jeshua is a one-man Lobby machine. He is great about calling for backup glassware before it becomes an issue, and is just overall incredibly attentive and informative when it comes to guests. Greg pulled a long one today, getting Trees over the last Th1 service push, and Charlie and Lydia wrapped up the rest of the night without issue. Good flow of service at Trees tonight, but let's make sure we are keeping on top of reminding bartenders to get out from behind the bar during service. JH
Had Charlie take the lead on doing the cash tonight, and it was mostly correct. Kitchen had done a $40 pay out this evening for a trail, but no bartenders told management that there was a pay out, so Charlie closed and checked out without the pay out having been entered. Jared, math wizard that he is, helped us enter the pay out so that the end of night reports would be correct. Trees was still $11.00 short, as mentioned below, but this was unrelated to the pay out. JH
FOH Staff Observations:
OBAA in the big theaters definitely drags on pre-bussing, with the vast majority of glassware coming down in one go after the credits begin. It did put us behind the eight ball a bit for the last round seating in Th1 as we had to catch up on glassware while making drinks. JH
86ed / counts on items:
Draft Cosmopolitan is temporarily 86'd, as we were having some issues with the draught line. I looped in bar managers and will continue to try troubleshooting the issue. JH
Edited to add: We will be serving Cosmopolitans from Store-N-Pours while we sort out the draft line issue. I refilled and left labeled + dated 2 qts + 1 qts in the walk-in for opening bartenders. JH

I don't often think about shelving, but I really can't wait for us to have shelves again. -GS

Lost & Found?:
Two cards were left behind at Trees Lounge. Dated and placed in the Lost CC box in the office. JH

Maintenance:
The middle lowboy in Lobby is back to leaking and Jeshua is going to empty and dry it out before heading out tonight. We moved some of the cans away from the fans along the side to see if that would help and made sure the temp wasn't set too cold. Jeshua did say this has been becoming more of a regular occurrence, so we will definitely want to check on the compressors. JH
