Chill brunch. Sundays on Fire was good, OBAA is still strong and The Smashing Machine can't pay people to come see it. Put a nice dent in prep for the rest of the day/beginning of the week.

It seems that the cold weather mentality is upon us. Let's reinforce bartenders brewing a second urn of coffee for each bar when the closers come in.  I also dropped cinnamon sticks at both bars for toddies. Keep an eye on honey syrup levels.-LB

I would love to put up those Nightmare before Christmas spot lights in Trees on the wall if possible for Halloween decor? -LB

Customer Comments: The feedback about the new menu items has been furiously positive across the board. -LB

BAR Staff Observations: Patrick is a literal darling and changed a Gansett even though I was right there.  Love to see it. I threw Nia in the service pass for the sold out OBAA 7:45. She did well, worked on some things. Emphasized slowing down. Charlie also needing some correcting in the moment today and yesterday but they are both very receptive to our procedures. -LB

Charlie failed to enter half of their credit card slips from the lobby. Dion did it on the back end. He seemed really off tonight. He cut his hand on some glass he was washing and I helped him with first aid, he was okay to proceed working. He is running some things in Trees dishpit tonight rather than hand washing stuff. He helped Greg close the mezz, he is a good teammate always.-LB

Some lively pushes and good vibes at Trees all night. Was fun having Patrick in the building.  I turned off football for a good portion of the evening, then Greg got it back up for some of NPP's own. -LB

We are currently 86 Evil Twin - waiting on delivery.  Sauv Blanc is out but we replaced with bottles we need to utilize. Spice World. 

Ian forgot to input a count for OBAA special, but I popped it on when I found the ever needed batch tonight. -LB

Prep List:

I rectified the Captain Jack's Grog that I had started the other day, only to find that another batch had been made yesterday by Natasha - so we are FLUSH with Grog. My bad on the over batch! - IP

Made more Blackstrap, ginger and juniper syrups for batching for the week. - IP 

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Waiting on Baldor for some items to finish prep work. Chef Jared also mentioned that he thinks the kitchen may have accidentally stolen our lime juice again - will check. - IP

So kitchen accidentally embezzled our lime juice, so we are getting way too much tomorrow but it was past cut off. So we are set for a while. When soda comes in tomorrow, Jenn if you can FIFO to the Trees and lobby soda shelves. I tried to do some tonight but we are back to full business. -LB

Maintenance: Trees machine was being weird doing the raining water inside the bin thing while also saying that there was not enough water. I am curious if there is a more permanent water sourcing failure within the machine. I will keep an eye on it, but I do think sometimes soon this big boy will be laid to rest. That isn't an unusual lifespan for a machine like this.-LB

Mobilebytes Issues: There is still Sangiovese, there is no longer Ketel one on POS for Trees liquors, noting these as we are figuring out what we want to do. I am also down to have a price list for Open liquor use as we do have a lot of inventory.  These aren't listed as they are just seen and ordered.  Happy to troubleshoot solutions to mitigate this issue quarterly. -LB

Old Bay chips are on the menu still and went through with charges on the menu to the kitchen. -LB
