Manager Communication: The walk-in is a bit difficult at the moment. I couldn't reach the gas while changing the pilsner keg and got sprayed with beer. Had to climb up on the empty keg to get to the fob. I can't get the empty keg out because it is a hard lift with my recovering elbow, plus it is a critical step stool to get to the plumbing parts.  -LB
I unpacked wine onto walk-in shelves, and put away all of the wine delivery that came in this morning.
I feel like it is feasible to store all cold wine in the walk-in once the special event inventory depletes.
I hope to have some time to organize the liquor room and set up some systems to make everything a little easier this coming week. -LB
I put away a half rack of coupes into bar storage-yay it is empty again. We might need to put more glassware into circulation, there seem to be a lot of empty racks these days, if anyone has thoughts on this.-LB
There is another empty keg hiding behind a wall of full kegs I cannot get out, Narragansett keg. -LB
I cut Greg's shift from tomorrow since he is on 4 other days and the numbers don't really warrant two mids tomorrow. -LB
Dinner rounds were busily popping off here and there, but the 8:30 OBAA was the last big seating. Busy pushes here and there but a lighter closing vibe than most busy weekends.-LB

BAR Staff Observations:
Greg has gotten really comfortable holding it down in lobby solo and does a great job setting himself up for success before doors.  Natasha & Tevon handled the NewFest event without issue, and were great about keeping any items on the bar (hot coffee + milk) replenished when needed.  I got Natasha out of here shortly before 4, as neither Th1 nor Th2 would have any new seatings until after closers had got in. JH
As I was going to get Jeshua glassware in the kitchen. I ran into Tevon making sure his coworkers had what they needed before he left for the day. -LB

FOH Staff Observations
: Lots of pep in the steps today. Good vibes on the server and runner crew. George is a champion learning the new expo set up.-LB Evan, Justine supporting here and there.

Sick Leave/ Call outs:
Gabrielle had a family emergency and was unable to work her shift today.  Her shift was marked Sick on 7Shifts.  Due to sales and staffing, we were able to accommodate easily. JH

Special Events?
The Filmmaker Brunch went great this morning.  We were prepped and ready at Trees Lounge and the crowd is definitely a little more mellow when it comes to cocktails during daytime events.  NewFest already removed their stuff from the bar storage closet (it has been replaced with three boxes of books for Tuesday's event) and will let Desmond know when they will be picking up their remaining packaged product.  All of the NewFest stuff (batches + packaged product) are in the walk-in, with vast majority chilling on the shelf where we used to store Arbol Tequila. JH

86ed / counts on items: Sauv B to bottles  in effect.

Prep List: Jenn flagged for me to make a half batch of Suite 55 and a half batch of Cherry Grove and I think that was right on the money. I made a quadruple batch of Juniper syrup and a double pistachio orgeat.

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
CWD & Union arrived.  Invoices entered on Bevager. JH
We got 4 cases of rocks glasses and more 1 quart store n pour. -LB
Letting our soda holdings deplete, US foods bringing only lime juice on Monday.-LB

Maintenance:
Trees ice machine stopped working overnight, but began working sometime before I arrived at 8:30am.  It did not impact service at all, was just a strange little occurrence.  In good news, the Trees frozen machines have no longer been freezing up overnight and have run fairly consistently since the new temperature gauge was installed. JH
Trees ice machine was doing it's raining on the inside situation tonight around 7:15pm.  Since then panels of ice have dropped so hopefully it is just getting its feelings out. -LB
The service ice well at Trees was draining slowly as it does. I decided to do some work on it. I plungered it and poured the enzymatic stuff down into the drain. It seemed to help a lot immediately. -LB
