Manager Communication: I ordered two things for mise en place server stations for the coffee stirrers, skewers and cocktail picks.-LB

BAR Staff Observations:

Tonight's sold out Scream was illuminating. Nia is great when she's part of the team, but when she's in the driver's seat she gets a little squirrely. She really took the "take your time" note a little too much to heart, and the tickets were backing up at an alarming pace. I jumped in to help get her out of the weeds - Greg was busy tending to the very busy bar (one of those screenings where half the crowd waits til the last second to go in while the other half is ordering in the theater), and we got through it fine, just a little more stressfully than we want. Just pointing it out that we can all look to provide a little more guidance for Nia when she is working shifts where more of the responsibility falls squarely on her - I feel I was able to do that a little bit tonight once the crazy rush had calmed down. She is obviously still acclimating to the Trees close (it's a beast) but I think highlighting the need for focus and organization during closing is paramount. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:

Erika always crushes. She is such a great lead. - IP

Sick Leave/ Call outs: As the shitty time Val is having in 2025 continues, she broke her ankle Friday. She worked her shifts at Mama Tried this weekend in a boot.  She was very willing to work tomorrow but I assured her that it is okay to not work just because you just had another life emergency. Her ankle is very black and blue. So Matthew is going to open tomorrow, Tevon will close. I updated 7shift, but did not mark her as sick since we had notice. -LB

Special Events?

Scream was BUSYYYY. Drink rush was a madhouse - bar was very busy too. Greg stuck it out and made sure Nia was good to go before he split. - IP

Prep List: 

Checked ST&B stock and we should be all set for Thursday.  I ran the sales numbers for the last three ST&B and everything looks good. JH

Will need to make more Arbol Tequila tomorrow, and probably Bounty Law. 

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: 

The hose exploded while I was cleaning the frozens in lobby.  Nothing out of the ordinary for what I was doing or how I was using it, so I'm guessing it may have just been a weak spot in the tubing that finally gave way.  The nozzle attachment is fine, so I placed that back in the bag behind the Trees pos, and Lauren will be ordering a new hose. JH

Maintenance:

I ordered the lowboy retractors Day and Nite recommended and am processing the return for the incorrect retractors. -LB

Mobilebytes Issues: Jay mentioned to me that the buttons we had added for pint glass, just ice etc are not back on the POS. That seemed to be a useful addition if we can add them to packaged beers and the other items they noted them for. -LB
