Manager Communication: Some fruit flies at Trees lounge, could be because FWWM froze out of it's chamber overnight or the random mop that is in the dishpit. I treated the floor drains with citronella fly killer.-LB
The OF keg we have been concerned is leaking may have been a gas leak? current keg was leaking. I opened it, moved gasket then it was fine.  The out side keeps pushing the out line off, this one may be broken. I am leaving it on for now. Note if it is a problem. -LB
We are using two empty kegs for holding space (lol) for the Newfest beers/wines. Hopefully we will go through a bunch tomorrow before keg delivery wednesday. -LB

Newfest crowd is great. Trees was boppin for the sold out theater one screening, and they bring a fun energy. Wyatt and Chelsea were on their game tonight - everything went nice and smooth. - IP


BAR Staff Observations: Jeshua cleaned Trees Lounge like a lead. Immaculate.  He is so solid, I would love if we could integrate him into the bar prep schedule, he is such a machine with an attention to detail like no other.-LB 

Greg and Patrick can always be counted on to provide friendly efficient service during these big events. Very charming guys. - IP

FOH Staff Observations: 
Sarah was awesome on the first floor tonight - handled a lot of guest questions etc - and helped a guest find their lost items after a screening. Good job all around. - IP

Special Events?
Newfest screening in theater 1 went great. Greg and Patrick were an unstoppable duo, crushing a pre-show bar rush, the drink rush, and the after-show rush all with ease. Maya had a pretty easy day in the lobby as a lot of the traffic was for Newfest and their staff and box office people were on their game. - IP

I'm thrilled Matt and Ethan are getting to go to Japan, but I'm sad we won't have Matt for Newfest lol. - IP

Bartender email note: 
Jenn please note to continue to take off masking tape before running dishes. And do not run small tongs and tools without being contained, they get stuck in the drain.

Prep List: 3 Lemonades, Tea, Spice World, 2 FWWM, bamboo Lounge, apricot demerara, espresso martini for Newfest. We will need to add the counts on the drinks that Gus batched (not Cherry Grove) and the other Newfest Espresso martini which we need to make more since it is so good. -LB

We didn't end up needing to make any more Cherry Grove, so the 100 count batch is accurate and ready to go in the walk-in for tomorrow - however, we may need to make a small batch tomorrow morning to get us through to the party, as it's being sold in theaters. I backed us up on Marg and OF kegs. - IP

We received beer and wine from Newfest. Desmond mentioned a second drop later this week.

Maintenance: The hot water in bar prep is scalding hot. We used to be able to change the temp coming to our sink, unsure if we can now. If it is possible to put a governor somewhere. -LB

Hot water was weird in the building this evening. Stuff was just lukewarm for about twenty or so minutes and then got back on track. Just had to re-wash some glassware, but all was back in order quickly. - IP

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper. Manager Communication: Slow night at the bar, but The WOrst Person opened pretty big which was nice to see.  BAR Staff Observations: Everyone did great. Was able to get Jenn and Jo out earlyish.  FOH Staff Observations: Solid crew tonight, no issues on my end.  86ed / counts on items: Tecate Prep List : Should be all prepped up going in to tomorrow. We will probably need hot toddy at some point, but no urgency.  Over/Short on Banks: Lobby bar was $10 short.  Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Manhattan did not come in this week, so we did not get tecate or high life. Our rep is following up.
