Manager Communication:  As always the CO2 alarm loves to make an entrance. During the dinner rush the Co2 alarm was freaking. The Trees soda lines are leaking from the last black joint all the way on the right, this is seemingly the empty line.  I sprayed the lines with windex and tried to find a leak. Ian tinkered but no avail.  I turned off the line to the Trees soda guns.  This is the little red lever on the left of the shelf.  I put in a service request online with Coke our ticket # is 34176968.-LB 

Quiet post-Newfest Sunday. I got all the kegs organized in the walk-in and did some cambro and storage rearranging in the liquor room.  - IP

The draft kegs are clean if you can catch us up tomorrow Ariel. I deep cleaned with white vinegar the Negroni and Tom Collins keg. They are all in the liquor room on the freezer.  

End of night some jerks were being rude and threatening to the servers and Dion with not leaving theater 6.  Michael was accidentally on channel 2 and I caught up with him. We headed up there to make sure everyone was okay. They had exited but Dion heard them say they were going to follow them into the service station. We all made sure they were out and locked the gate. Dion is going to figure out their info to 86 because we don't need hateful rhetoric here. -LB

Customer Comments: Some guest had issue with the classic nitehawk cocktails not being on the main menu at Trees Lounge, they didn't notice the black manhattan until after they got something else. IDK.-LB

A guest was upset that they didn't get their food for a long time, they of course didn't bring this to the attention of the server, super difficult for some guests to figure out how to do this for some reason.  I have seen guests wander the hallways of 4/6 looking to find a person. I think this is another good reason to consider a button system so guests don't hesitate to ask for help when they need it.  -LB

BAR Staff Observations:

Natasha and Maya rocked a nice and chill opening. - IP

FOH Staff Observations: It will be no surprise that Torey was a darling on the first floor. 

Hiring/Training: Saw Rob getting the lay of the land tonight.  Definitely shadowing a great trainer. Glad to see all these new Hawks.-LB


Prep List: Midnight Cowboy, half a batch of Cosmo in cambro.-LB



Over/Short on Banks:

Lobby Bar bank was $1 over - I put the single in the envelope in the cash box. - IP

Trees was over by $10.  Initially I thought it was over by 17, but I went back to trees and attached a drawer so we could run the check out of Jeshua's number, he accidentally did some transactions on it earlier.  So the drop is still $10 over and do not know why.  -LB



Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US foods bringing lime juice. I ordered some webstaurant stuff for our new improved prep room. -LB

Maintenance:

Trees Ice mcahine being a punk. Turned her off and back on and seems to be working fine now. Can't say the same for the lobby frozen machine - Wyatt turned them to slush right when he got here, and as of 5p they still were barely slushy. Need to further investigate. - IP

Ice machine was producing well by night's end. 

I cleaned and maintained the Trees dishpit with cleaning solution etc.-LB

I did a deep clean of all the coffee urns, filter baskets.-LB

I hit up lobby, trees and bar prep drains and sinks with fly preventing sticks. The liquor room has the most flies, but that may be because of the dead rat possibly in the wall. -LB

I hit all the Trees drains again with the enzymatic drain cleaner, the service well is draining well again. I also hit Theater 1 & 2 dump sinks and drains with it as well. -LB
