Monday 9.30.24 Gus/Ian

Manager Communication:  Big shoutout to Carly- she saw I was doing ice machine stuff and just opened the filmbot and counted the banks. Opened pretty slow. Everyone was on top of it -Gus I concur that everyone was very much on top of their game tonight. When I came in, Darius noted that we were low on several drinks as far as walk-in backup, so while Gus was still here, I popped into the back for some batching. The Gotham Shorts Fest was pretty chill for the first block, and I swung Lydia up from the lobby when they got out to help out with the little pop at Trees. Later on I swung Patrick up to Trees after he finished closing the lobby to help with the bar pop after the second block.  Customer Comments: I had to escort a guest out of Trees after he fell asleep sitting up at the bar. Darius noted right when he sat down that the guy has come in before and often attempts to drink to excess. I stirred him awake, and he was incredulous as to why I was asking him to leave. He had a...

Sunday 9.29.24 Gus/Ian

Manager Communication:  Nathaniel and I opened the building. Pretty busy first round, lots of growth in sales. - Gus The busiest rounds upstairs were wrapping up by the time I got in around 4:45, but the dinner round on the first floor was firing on all cylinders. Trees had consistent but manageable foot traffic most of the evening. I did some unpacking and rearranging in the liquor room and walk-in as needed. - IP Customer Comments:  Lots of kids in the first round. - Gus "The Substance" continues it's reign of terror - we had couple of people who left early, and a few guests that servers were concerned about. I checked in on said guests and they were totally fine - just grossed out/affected by the film. - IP BAR Staff Observations:   Maya crushed it, but we were really busy at Trees to open. - Gus Everyone was on their game today. The evening really slowed down, but no one lost focus. Miguel was yet again a true team player and swung around wherever he was needed. Jeshu...

Saturday 09.28 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication:  Woooooooo, The Wild Robot did great in the big theaters today, with the first round Th1 screening almost tripling in ticket sales between doors and showtime.  And once we hit the second round, plenty of other screenings were selling similarly, keeping all three floors bopping.  Trees Lounge had a pretty nice crowd during the day, definitely helped along by the rain, and was absolutely packed by 5:30pm. JH Large crowd stayed throughout the majority of the evening to dodge the rain. Trees stayed bustling til around 10p. Downstairs theaters grew steadily throughout the day and the last rounds were bangers in 5/7. We ran out of Mr. Fusion, so I quickly made a double batch which replenished both bars. I also made another batch of Neon Demon, and a 1/3 batch of Dolin's Caddy cheater. Should be aces for tomorrow's openers. - IP Customer Comments: A Guest at trees asked to speak with a manager and I was at the pass, so I spoke to her - she took me over to...

Friday 09.27 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: Well staffed tonight. Jared and Wyatt held down the floor. I was able to do some deep cleaning in the prep area, which was cool Customer Comments: Had some nice pops at Trees, no one really stuck out. Very normal. BAR Staff Observations: Patrick ran point at the beginning of the evening. I think I witnessed what others have been saying in regards to his communication. I think its mostly a sense of humor thing, but it appears to annoy some of the other bartenders, so I just had Matthew run point. If it persists I can speak with him about it. Don't think its an issue that can't be worked out. Tavon did a lot of batching. Matthew seems to be taking the review to heart an being more assertive. FOH Staff Observations: Servers did a really good job tonight. Siena, Breanna, Abe. Really good job. Hiring/Training: Sick Leave/ Call outs: Special Events? Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 86ed / counts on items: St. Agrestis Sprtiz Prep List: -Lemonade -Echto -Firewalk...

Thursday 09.26 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: Customer Comments: There was a man in theater 3 who was really aggro about wanting a kids burger.  He complained before he even got in. I said we could figure something out. He wasn't exactly nice, but it was what it was. He then complained to a server and then came out to speak with me about not wanting the extra patty. Talked to Chef about it, he was cool with it. I was cool with it. So we did it. -GS BAR Staff Observations:  Ticket sales were pretty low for a Thursday, so we did not anticipate needing three closers tonight.  Offered a cut to scheduled bartenders, and Tevon took it.  I moved Matthew to opening Trees instead, which he was fine with. JH I really appreciate how the bar staff truly are a team and lookout for the well being of the bar, not just themselves. I was going to make an early cut and the team basically said "respectfully we think there will be a rush at 9" and there totally was. Very good group.  Patrick was on it t...

Wednesday 9/25/24 Gus/Ian

Manager Communication:   Tons of manager coverage. Snoozer of a day. -Gus Seconded, aside from a little pop at Trees between 8:00-9:30. - IP BAR Staff Observations:   Brian picked up a shift that Kelsey dumped. He had to leave pretty early, but sleepy enough it didn't matter. Good guy. Matthew was ready and willing to batch batch batch, but alas we lacked the supplies. Not a big deal, will be here tomorrow. -Gus Matt stuck around til about 9:30 after batching a Firewalk, a Lemonade, a N/A Spritzer keg and a big simple syrup. After the little pop at trees mentioned above, everyone got settled in their seats and Gab and I chilled all the way to the finish line. Also just wanted to mention Jeshua has been excellent since I've been back as manager. Really attentive to stocking/bussing needs as well as being extremely attentive and helpful for guests at lobby and Trees alike. He's killin it. - IP FOH Staff Observations:   The printer for Theater 7 was off and Abe's tickets w...

Tuesday 09.24 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication: Not too much going on until dinner round. Trivia folks began filtering in around 6p as usual and we had a good pop at Trees when the metalheads started arriving for the Metallica Doc screening. Trivia started slow, but filled Trees and a some of the Mezz by the time it started in earnest. Good crowd for the Donnie Darko screening, so the pass was bustling between 7-10. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Lydia and Tevon were great in the lobby - the 8:30 screening of The Substance was sold out and they made the rush look easy. The trivia team is outstanding. Darius and Brian cranked out excellent service to the guests at the bar while teaming up to crush two busy service rushes for Metallica and Donnie Darko, while Maya marshalled the floor like the trivia general she is. After The Substance rush petered out, I had Tevon come up and give Darius and Maya a break (Brian decided not to take one), and then he split around 8:45. Trivia was rolling and Maya and Brian felt goo...

Monday 09.23 Ian

Manager Communication: Just me and Jess opening up the building this morning. Very sleepy. Things picked up later on during and shortly after the dunner rush, but nothing crazy.  Took a minute to restock some of the shelves in the liquor room and the wines in the walk-in. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Jeshua cut fruit and juiced for Trees Lounge during slow first round. Both he and Darius stocked their respective bars to the gills. Wonderful openers, both of them.  When Tevon and Patrick got in, I swung Darius to the back to do a bit of batching, and Jeshua and Patrick tag-teamed the only slightly busy lobby bar rush for the 6:15 THE SUBSTANCE.  After Darius was done batching, I cut both of the openers - around 6:45p. Patrick flew the lobby solo like a champ and Tevon and I easily handled the later pushes after BJBJ and The Substance both jumped up to around 80 tix each. - IP  FOH Staff Observations: We were pretty lightly staffed today and everyone held it down. Que...

Sunday 09.22 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication:  Similar morning to yesterday, but having pushed back the midshifts made it so most of the morning was handled solo at each bar without issue. JH It was overall a very sleepy Sunday. Only the 6:35 BJBJ had a legitimate rush at the service pass at Trees. We had a little bit of a bar pop between 8-9, after BJBJ and before The Substance. - IP   Customer Comments: Shortly after the dinner round a guest notified Darius that they needed to speak to a manager immediately. I answered the call, and spoke to her - she notified me that while she was using the Trees Lounge ladies' restroom, a mother and child were in the bathroom and the child was flipping the lights on and off repeatedly, and left the lights turned off while the guest was in the stall. She was extremely upset and very angry that this had happened. She demanded something be done about this and expressed outrage that something like this could even happen. I apologized for the incident and offered her...

Saturday 09.21 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication:  Lovely weather outside, so we didn't get too many busy theaters in the first two rounds.  Definitely began picking up for the third and fourth round. JH Looking at tomorrow, which looks like it will be similarly mellow in the first two rounds, I pushed Patrick and Tevon's Sunday midshifts back, so they'll be here through all dinner screenings.  Spoke with both of them, and updated 7Shifts. JH Third round in theaters 1/2/3/7 were POPPIN. As was the fourth round in th. 2 for THE SUBSTANCE. Had a consistently busy bar crowd at trees from 6:30-9:00p. Very sleepy in Trees after 10:00p. Very little foot traffic at the bar after the 9:10 THE SUBSTANCE went in. - IP BAR Staff Observations:  Bryan and Miguel handled the opening round before Kelsey and Gabrielle got in for their midshifts.  Once both bars had a chance to reset, Miguel took the early cut.  I had Jeshua come in an hour earlier (3:45pm) than he was scheduled to spread out service...

Friday 09.20 Jenn

Manager Communication: Mellow first round, but then a busy Friday night for the rest of the evening.  Second round saw most of the theaters either sell out, or get very close to it, which kept both bars busy all evening.  Trees service pass was absolutely slammed from 6:00 to about 7:30, and drinks rarely lingered, with lots of servers on support.  Trees Lounge built up a nice crowd once second round screenings began getting out, but cleared out just before ten. BAR Staff Observations:  Really great team tonight, service never skipped a beat.  Bryan and Tevon did a great job setting up both bars, which really set them up for success once service picked up right after closers got in.  Darius and Tevon tackled a batch list once the second round had settled. and Tevon was able to get out of here once both bars had a chance to restock and reset.  Bryan was sticking around through the last service push for Th1.   I reviewed last call closing time...

Thursday 09.19 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication: Tonight was relatively slow until the special screening of WILD THINGS and the double whammy of an almost sold out THE SUSBTANCE at 8:45 and BJBJ at 9:00 in theaters 3 & 5. I restocked the wines in the walk-in and organized the kegs.  A few servers asked about trying to avoid the service trays getting stinky from being stacked when wet - I asked the gentlemen in dish if they could let them dry a bit more before stacking them and they were happy to oblige. -IP BAR Staff Observations: Everyone was wonderful tonight. Lobby was sleepy so I cut Patrick at 8:00p - Brian hung around for the WILD THINGS rush and got outta here around 9:30p. Matthew and Brian absolutely crushed the rush for WILD THINGS and Gab was a one woman wrecking crew for the 3/5 rush.  FOH Staff Observations: Rebecca was dynamite at the pass with support. I had to run around a bunch between lobby and trees and bar prep and she held down traying everything up when I couldn't be there. -I...

Wednesday 09.18 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication:   Jenn batched a bunch of syrups for the upcoming menu and a whole load of Strawberry Mint syrup. Matthew crushed a small batch list - 1 Fleur keg, a Grapes of Wrath batch, and a half batch of Nightmare Material (we only had half a bottle of Banane du Bresil in house). -IP I cut Matthew at 8p after a small rush for the 7:30 Blink Twice in Th. 5.  I cut Kelsey at 9:30p after the mini-rush for the special screening of Nowhere in Th. 2. -IP I put the bag of enamel MubiGo pins for THE SUBSTANCE in front of the Filmbot computer in Lobby bar for tomorrow's service. - IP Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations:   Patrick did a great job of customer facing. Didn't need to nudge him away from the pass, and he was excellent with the guests. Jeshua was a rockstar in the lobby.  Insisted on cleaning the bubblers himself, because he likes to be extra thorough. Self-sufficient service all around. This team is great. - IP FOH Staff Observations:  Isob...

Tuesday 09.17 Jenn/Dana (Dana's Last Shift T-T)

Manager Communication:  Tonight was extremely slow so I'm using this area to say good bye. It has been an absolute pleasure working with each and everyone of you guys. I will truly miss Nitehawk and will be back to catch a movie sooner than later. -DL  Customer Comments: Conner called made a call from lobby due to a couple having a service dog in his theater with no vest. We moved the guest up to an empty row to keep the dog out of the way from anyone else and to ensure no one tripped over them in the dark. -DL  BAR Staff Observations: Jeshua informed me that the filmbot register fell at one point tonight. He explained that he was letting a guest select their seat and he stepped away to finish a drink order. The guest took the liberty to select cash transaction and the register fell after opening. He says nothing fell out and the clamps remained shut when he picked it up. -DL  FOH Staff Observations: Kobe (the new server) seemed to be catching on really well. Saw ...

Monday 9.16.24 Gus/Ariel

Manager Communication: Slow day shift. Not a lot of foot traffic. -Gus Chill day with not much going on at all. Everyone was great and the night was smooth. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Miguel was cut around 6:15pm. I cut Lydia and they got out around 7:40pm. Patrick closed lobby bar. Jeshua closed Tree's. - AB2 86ed / counts on items: Ruby is currently at a 1 count. - AB2 Prep List: I made Pineapple Ginger, bars are stocked, but we will need to batch Firewalk tomorrow. -Gus  I batched - 1 Firewalk - 2 Lemonades - 1 Old Fashioned - Double Arbol Tequila - 1 N/A Spritz Fleur will need to be batched tomorrow and Peach Tea Concentrate. I forgot to check and Patrick told me at the end of the night. Definitely something we need to do at the beginning of the shift. -AB2  Pay Outs: 5200 - FOOD $15.00 R&D 5200 - FOOD $7.00 Herbs 5200 - FOOD $3.00 Pear 5200 - FOOD $18.00 Lettuce 5200 - FOOD $12.00 Choc Chips 7150 - MISC OPERATIONS $8.50 - AB2

Sunday / 9.15.2024 Gus & Ariel / NPP Bar Blog

Manager Communication: Tons of manager coverage -Gus I grabbed a magnetic white board eraser for prep area. It is red and chillin' on the knives slab. -AB2 I keep forgetting to ask but does anyone know where the old red table number tent things are? I would like to bring them over to NWB but I have been unable to find them anywhere here. -AB2 Customer Comments: People seem to like the football. Had a request for a New York Liberty game. I don't have a dog in this fight, but I have read that the popularity of the WNBA is booming right now and the playoffs start soon (I googled)- might not be a bad idea to throw on the Liberty games. -Gus I'm down with playing some Liberty Games btw. -AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Very self sufficient bar. Natasha was on it with the batching. -Gus - Cut Maya shortly after getting here at 4:00 - Cut Natasha once she finished batching - Cut Kelsey at 5:00 - Cut Bryan at 9:00 - Closed with Darius (Lobby) & Jeshua (Tree's) -AB2 86ed / co...

Saturday 09.14.24 Dana/Jenn

Manager Communication: Quiet morning. After the rush from TH1 Cry Baby everything mellowed out. Was able to get Maya out around 2:45 once Kelsey got in. Matthew and Natasha were able to crush Trees between the two of them and Natasha got out as soon as the closers got in. -DL  Service definitely ramped up once we got to the dinner rounds, with Beetlejuice Beetlejuice , Blink Twice , & Speak No Evil really growing in ticket sales over the course of the evening.  There were a few pops of crowds at Trees during the night, but that dwindled around11:00pm. JH BAR Staff Observations: Was able to cut Matthew shortly after I got in and both bars had been restocked.  Kelsey stayed up at Trees to get Lydia and Patrick through some Th1/2 service pushes, and then went down to Lobby to work the first floor rush with Bryan before she got out of here.  Lydia has really got a handle on holding down a busy service pass, and has gotten much better about communicating when an ex...

Friday 09.13 Jenn/Gus/Dana/Ian

Manager Communication:  Had a good amount of action and foot traffic today at lobby bar. Bryan was able to hold it down solo for most of the night with Ian and myself just swinging in to help with filmbot. Natasha and Matthew kept Trees on lock after Patrick left. -DL Customer Comments: Two of my old coworkers randomly came in- they both know Patrick- they sat at the bar then saw a movie. -Gus BAR Staff Observations:  Our team rules. Matthew is going to work on not hooking up Playstations without approval. But tonight I was doing some film notes (will publish tomorrow) and I came out when I knew the rush was going and Ian was working the pass, Natasha, Jeshua and Patrick were working the bar, Dana was supporting, place was humming. Very impressive - Gus FOH Staff Observations: Bree, Shae, Quetzie and Caleb all rocked today throughout the building. -DL Staff Meeting Agenda notes:  Tasting officially postponed, all working on our separate tasks.- Gus R&D comp checks:...

Thursday 09.12.24 Gus/Ian

Manager Communication: Lots of coverage tonight on the manager front. Jenn got taken down by a migraine, but there was a relatively light load during the day so it all worked out.  Customer Comments: Lots of folks came out to see the guy from the movie- the one in the band. Was cool to see trees so popping. BAR Staff Observations: Natasha is really good at coming in and just owning the space. Team as a whole was very collaborative tonight and ready to work.  FOH Staff Observations: Lots of guest issues tonight. Danielle really handled them well Hiring/Training: Ian- training day 3. We dressed very similarly. He really took the lead on handling bar stuff. Helped with batching and was very mindful of when to make rounds and had an overall really good sense of place and timing. I think the man is ready to roll. Sick Leave/ Call outs: Jenn. Special Events? Rock & Roll movie had a little shin dig at trees after the movie. Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Bryan had an idea of swappin...

Wednesday 09.11 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication: Quiet night outside of TH3 private screening which brought in a big rush from doors. Gabrielle and Matthew held down trees for the walkins and theaters rushes after we were able to cut Kelsey early. -DL BAR Staff Observations: Jeshua was able to handle lobby solo for most of the night but needed help during the big rush. He still gives a little resistance to accepting help from some people. Just something to keep an eye on when working with him. -DL FOH Staff Observations: Michael and Erika killed it tonight. Truly leads of leads. -DL  Special Events? My Old Ass private screening went great. -DL Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Baldor arriving tomorrow. JH Maintenance: Ice machine made that weird noise towards the end of the night again. -DL

Tuesday 09.10 Jenn/Gus/Ian/Dana

Manager Communication:  Jenn was very thorough with my training today. Lots of great insight into prepping the cue sheet and being ahead of the curve when anticipating busy times at the bar. Dodge gave me an extremely detailed facilities tour - the view from the roof is incredible, the basement - not so much. Awesome second day. IP Extremely calm day within the building. Gather the syrups for the tasting tomorrow and put them in a bus bin inside the walkin. Please double check to make sure I got all the items. -DL BAR Staff Observations: First round was very slow. Darius killed it on checking to make sure everything was set for later rounds and Tevon crushed a bunch of batching. Darius, Brian and Lydia were aces during the only slightly busy rush during dinner round of Beetlejuice. Darius and Brian took great care of a little bar push before the rep screening. IP Hiring/Training: Ian got the special edition Nick Dodge facilities tour today, and was able to sit in on his first bar m...

Monday 9.09.24 Gus/ Ariel/ The Return of Ian

Manager Communication: Really slow 1st turn. Low numbers in the theaters, I got a chance to sit down with Ian and go over a bunch of admin stuff. He clearly took to what I was saying as he has worked here for years. We do need to Ian his email and proper login's for. -Gus Hey Gus, you gave me a note tonight that you would like to soak the soda guns over night. Darius and Tevon mentioned to me that we have had issues in the past with that and with coke because of it. I put the Lobby guns in hot water quart containers but let Tree's rock since they told me this later. I am not very aware of what the issue is exactly but I would ask the leads/Darius because they can give you a better explanation. - AB2 Customer Comments: I had someone come up to me at the end of the last showing of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice that was frustrated because he was not aware/would not have bought tickets IF he knew it was open captions. He stated that his tickets did not say it was OC. I did not disagree w...

Sunday 9.08.24 Gus/Ariel

Manager Communication:   Plenty of manager coverage on the floor today. Great communication. Paul & Rebecca held it down. -GS Customer Comments: I was at lobby bar for a moment & Michael/Darius were talking about a guest at 7707 that was "being difficult." I asked Michael if things were ok. He said homie had outside liquor and was speaking real loud. He told the guest that he cannot have outside drink and to keep it down. I asked if enough strikes had been had. He told me "not yet." I told him "Just tell me when and we'll get in there." About 5 minutes later Michael came up and said that was it. I told Nathaniel that I was down to deal with 707 so I walked in there. I told him that he was being loud and that I was summoned to handle the situation. We spoke for about 10 minutes with homie telling me to "Do me a favor and let it go. I'm just trying to see a movie and I have been quiet since people told me to keep it down. Show me some re...

Saturday 09.07 Jenn/Dana

Manager Communication:  Beetlejuice Beetlejuice kept the big theaters busy throughout the day, and everything else (save for The Front Room & AfrAId ) sold really well.  Decent staffing levels, and Trees built up a bit of a crowd in the later afternoon. JH Glassware was a big struggle during the later rounds. The amount of ice waters coming from the sold out theaters caused us to run out of water cups so I broke out a box. We still have 2 backup boxes of 36 cups each so plenty of backups still on hand for now. -DL BAR Staff Observations: I had to give Patrick a lot of direction during service today. I noticed that he was avoiding guest and hovering over to tickets so I moved him to handle guest while Gabrielle hopped on service bar with Darius's support. After leaving and returning he found a way back on service bar when I instructed him to unload all the glassware that was just sitting there in the racks and then to restock before the next rush. After he restocked it w...

Friday / 09.06.24 Jenn, Gus, & Ariel / NPP Bar Blog

Manager Communication: Ariel hit it on the drink pass at Tree's and made the ship run. Got a huge hit with Beetle Juice 2 and Park Slope Parents- wow. Also I ordered 144 more pint glasses. Hats off to the bar team. All got tokens. -GS Just something to be aware of. I recently heard from Jeshua the other day that he feels like Patrick treats him like a barback. He stated that when he does the service bar, he only focuses there and does not help at all behind the bar. Then he asks them to refill all the cocktail product in the store-n-pours. I get where Jeshua is coming from. Today though Bryan said something similar but to Patrick and it just seemed like fun banter. Saying that he didn't do shit during the rush. I was there and there was definitely a bunch of tickets printing for a heavily sold TH1/TH2 rush. Maybe this happened before the big rush? I am unsure but feel the need to mention only because I was told 2 days in row. - AB2  Customer Comments: A trans woman was at Tree...

Thursday / 9.05.24 Gus & Ariel / NPP Bar Blog

Manager Communication:   Solid afternoon. Jared showed me some things about printing and such. Very helpful. GS Patrick does not get the emails for Williamsburg staff screenings. Not sure who to reach out to in order to add him to the thread. AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Vlad helped out with a deep clean. That guy crushes it. GS Matthew and Natasha killed it!! Bryan handled lobby bar solo mad chill. Got Jeshua and Patrick out of here pretty quickly. - AB2 Special Events?   Spoons, Toons, & Booze was slow today. Michael & Nell were chill. Was an easy smooth night. - AB2   Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Prep area was left in rough shape last night GS 86ed / counts on items:  Sav Blanc is back! Beers are back! GS Prep List:  I did double batches for Nightmare Material and Self Indulgent B******t Fire Walk Neon Lemonade - GS Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:   Coeur came in, Skurnik came in, Empire did not, however, I got to add on some Fords gin, which all sh...

Wednesday 09.04 Jenn

BAR Staff Observations:  Matthew stuck around until the special screening in Th1 got through its initial service push, and was ableto cover Kelsey for a break and a restock before he got out of here.  Jeshua was holding down Trees when I left, and Kelsey was nearing the end of her solo Lobby shift. Hiring/Training:  Ian got back to us today with a proposed start date of Monday, 09.09.  Once the bar manager schedule is filled out for the rest of September, I can start putting together a training schedule for him. Special Events?  Just a heads up for bar managers tomorrow that we need to prep for Spoons, Toons, & Booze.  There is a bus bin in the walk-in beside the lemons and limes that has all of the ST&B infusions, and we just got in more almond and oat milk, so we should be all set. Staff Meeting Agenda notes:  Gil took a bunch of the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice straws so NWB is ready for Friday.  Ariel will be here Friday, so can bring over...

Tuesday 09.03 Gus/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Trivia and the special screening in Th3 really led service pushes today, which gave us plenty of time to set the floor for Trivia and get ahead of some batching. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Patrick was able to float up to Trees and offer coverage for everyone to grab family meal and set up for Trivia.  He was able to get out of here shortly before Trivia began, and Bryan held down Lobby solo and was a big help in directing guests to the special screening in Th3. JH Sick Leave/ Call outs:  Gabrielle reached out to bar managers today to let us know that her dental procedure this morning was a lot more intense than she had anticipated, and so she would be unable to come in for her Lobby Close shift tomorrow.  Kelsey, who is opening Lobby tomorrow, offered just to work a long solo Lobby shift, as she could use the hours and the numbers for the first floor are relatively low tomorrow.  I adjusted Kelsey's shift times and marked Gabrielle'...

Monday 09.02 Jenn

Manager Communication: The smaller theaters, particularly, Th3 saw some busy services today, but the larger theaters were relatively mellow.  Pretty slow for a holiday Monday. BAR Staff Observations:  Staffing was basically a relay race today.  Once the next shift got in, the previous bartenders made sure they were set up for service, and then got out of here.  Really consistent communication, and Tevon and Gabrielle held down both bars for the majority of the night. Sick Leave/ Call outs:  Dana gave Paul and bar managers a heads up around 10 this morning that he would not be able to come in for his shift, as he was feeling very unwell.  Paul moved Dana's shift to Sick , and I cam in at three, since numbers were very low during the daytime.  Staff Meeting Agenda notes:  Beetlejuice Beetlejuice drink special is updated on the menu doc.  86ed / counts on items: Ebbs Kolsch & Evil Twin IPA (waiting on delayed deliveries).   Prep L...

Sunday 09.01.24 Dana/Gus

Manager Communication: Had a strong start with the Mummy which brought in a big drinking crowd to Trees before doors for the theater opened. Immediately after the rush, Natasha was able to knock out a large batch list as Tevon handled Trees solo. -DL Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Night crew was on point. Jeshua and Patrick really knocked it out at Trees. There was a big group of Industry people I believe, it was during a rush, but they looked familiar- which was a nice to see.-GS FOH Staff Observations: Bree killed it this morning. From the 2nd floor to the 3rd. -DL  Theaters 4 & 6 really working hard. Thats so many steps -GS Hiring/Training: Sick Leave/ Call outs: Special Events? Staff Meeting Agenda notes: 86ed / counts on items: Ebbs, Evil Twin, Up in Smoke Prep List: We knocked out a lot of batching today. Tomorrow we should focus on Syrups. -DL  Should batch 2 N/A Spritz, Fleur and Negroni -GS R&D comp checks: I rang some things in for today ...
