Similar morning to yesterday, but having pushed back the midshifts made it so most of the morning was handled solo at each bar without issue. JH
It was overall a very sleepy Sunday. Only the 6:35 BJBJ had a legitimate rush at the service pass at Trees. We had a little bit of a bar pop between 8-9, after BJBJ and before The Substance. - IP

Customer Comments:
Shortly after the dinner round a guest notified Darius that they needed to speak to a manager immediately. I answered the call, and spoke to her - she notified me that while she was using the Trees Lounge ladies' restroom, a mother and child were in the bathroom and the child was flipping the lights on and off repeatedly, and left the lights turned off while the guest was in the stall. She was extremely upset and very angry that this had happened. She demanded something be done about this and expressed outrage that something like this could even happen. I apologized for the incident and offered her and her and her family four passes, which she took and seemed to calm down a bit. - IP
BAR Staff Observations:
Both Matthew and Maya were great this morning, really able to handle opening without any backup support from me while I set up the building. Having Matthew down at Lobby was also really helpful, because he was able to handle most ticketing issues without needing to call for an MOD, which freed me up until Wyatt got in. Once both mids were in, Maya got out of here and Matthew floated up to Trees. JH
I cut Matthew right when Jeshua got in. Tevon and Darius tackled a light rush in theaters 3 and 7 for the dinner round, after which I swung Tevon up to bar prep do do a little batching. Jeshua and Patrick handled the BJBJ rush like the pros they are, and I got Patrick out of here around 9:30. I rerouted the downstairs theaters around 10:10, and Jeshua easily handled the remaining service. - IP
FOH Staff Observations:
Massive shoutout to Breanna, LaShae, and Rebecca for being the first servers in today and who then double checked that I had set up each station correctly before doors. Rebecca was also very helpful about figuring out staffing maneuvers during the second round, so service was well underway when Wyatt got in. JH
Sick Leave/ Call outs:
Sick Leave/ Call outs:
When I got in at 9:30, Nathaniel was incredibly unwell. He was in the process of opening the building, but was physically unable to. I got him an Uber home (along with the trashcan from the office with a trash bag for the journey) and then called Gil and Wyatt. Gil was able to finish up cue sheets, and Wyatt came in a little early. Building set up was smooth, and I reached out to Gil and Wyatt before approving any shift swaps or sick callouts (Michael) for servers. JH

Prep List:
Tevon batched:
1 Firewalk, 1 N/A Spritzer Keg, 1 Negroni Keg.
-He started to batch an Old Fashioned Keg, but we realized we do not have enough Rittenhouse Rye in house to complete the batch. The water, demerara and angostura are in a labeled cambro in the walk-in.
-I batched some fresh Peach Sweet Tea concentrate and used the last of the Mike's Hot Honey to make a batch of the Watermelon/Hot Honey syrup.
-Will need to batch Grapes of Wrath Water, and Wet Hot American Summer and the Old Fashioned keg whenever we get more Rittenhouse in. - IP
Pay Outs:
$50.00 (talent, th1 cinema event) JH
$21.00 - 5200 - Grapes & Tomatoes - IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Baldor & US Foods arriving tomorrow. JH
Maintenance:
The sink to the left of the service pass ice well at trees lounge was leaking a not unsubstantial amount of water when Jeshua was burning the ice during close. Didn't see anything visibly wrong with the pipes, but should be checked. - IP
