Manager Communication:
Tonight was relatively slow until the special screening of WILD THINGS and the double whammy of an almost sold out THE SUSBTANCE at 8:45 and BJBJ at 9:00 in theaters 3 & 5. I restocked the wines in the walk-in and organized the kegs. A few servers asked about trying to avoid the service trays getting stinky from being stacked when wet - I asked the gentlemen in dish if they could let them dry a bit more before stacking them and they were happy to oblige. -IP
BAR Staff Observations:
BAR Staff Observations:
Everyone was wonderful tonight. Lobby was sleepy so I cut Patrick at 8:00p - Brian hung around for the WILD THINGS rush and got outta here around 9:30p. Matthew and Brian absolutely crushed the rush for WILD THINGS and Gab was a one woman wrecking crew for the 3/5 rush.
FOH Staff Observations:
Rebecca was dynamite at the pass with support. I had to run around a bunch between lobby and trees and bar prep and she held down traying everything up when I couldn't be there. -IP
Sick Leave/ Call outs:
Sick Leave/ Call outs:
Natasha text me and Ian this morning to let us know that she was feeling unwell, and that she would be looking for coverage for her Trees closing shift tonight. As sales were relatively mellow for a Thursday night, we elected to just cut her shift from the day and hold on to Bryan at Trees a little longer to support Matthew. She will be submitting for sick time on ADP. JH

Decent crowd for WILD THINGS - good rush for theater service and a little pop around 11p at trees after the Q&A. Matthew handled it solo and was superb as usual. -IP
Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
Staff Meeting Agenda notes:
One of the projectionists was doing some work out front with the gate halfway up, and let a guest in about ten minutes before open. The guest said they had asked if we were opened yet, and was ushered in, even though we were not. If we can remind Projection to please not let in guests before doors are opened, staff would certainly appreciate it. JH

Prep List:
Matthew banged out a small batch list - made a double of the Cranberry Bog special, one Firewalk, and a big simple syrup. I batched a Dolan's Caddy cheater, a Neon Demon and a Honey Syrup.
Will need to probably batch Mr. Fusion tomorrow and Nightmare Material when we get the Banane du Bresil. Otherwise should be ready to rock. -IP

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Spoke to the reps from Threes Brewing today. Their kegs tend to be on the pricier side, but they did say that if we order at least two kegs (which is easy for this location) at a time, they could definitely knock the cost down a bit. JH
Josue from Sarene popped by to see Gus - brought a sample of Wild East Pilsner and Stout - but didn't have a sample of the Czech Dark Lager Gus had inquired about. He mentioned it would be packaged next week. -IP
