Monday 9.09.24 Gus/ Ariel/ The Return of Ian

Manager Communication:
Really slow 1st turn. Low numbers in the theaters, I got a chance to sit down with Ian and go over a bunch of admin stuff. He clearly took to what I was saying as he has worked here for years. We do need to Ian his email and proper login's for. -Gus

Hey Gus, you gave me a note tonight that you would like to soak the soda guns over night. Darius and Tevon mentioned to me that we have had issues in the past with that and with coke because of it. I put the Lobby guns in hot water quart containers but let Tree's rock since they told me this later. I am not very aware of what the issue is exactly but I would ask the leads/Darius because they can give you a better explanation. - AB2

Customer Comments:
I had someone come up to me at the end of the last showing of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice that was frustrated because he was not aware/would not have bought tickets IF he knew it was open captions. He stated that his tickets did not say it was OC. I did not disagree with him and apologized on our behalf since his tickets do not state that it is OC. I think our website is pretty straight forward by saying OC but I think it would help to say for Ex. (BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE OC (SUBTITLES)) or something that indicates that there will be subtitles especially with the end ticket. - AB2

BAR Staff Observations:
Was able to get Lydia out early. Had her here for the No Budge rush then once Darius and Tevon felt good, I gave them the chop. Darius stayed and hung around. I wanted to hold him to handle the No Budge after rush at Tree's and I am very thankful I did. It was poppin.' Closed with Patrick in Lobby and Tevon in Tree's. -AB2

Hiring/Training:
Ian day 1. Went over the basics. Bevager, Craftable, basics on the drive, creating a batching list- Gus

Special Events?
No Budge was poppin' as expected. Afterwards was great with Tree's being packed and Me, Tevon, and Darius thugged it out gangsta boogie style. - AB2

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
