Big shoutout to Carly- she saw I was doing ice machine stuff and just opened the filmbot and counted the banks. Opened pretty slow. Everyone was on top of it -Gus

I concur that everyone was very much on top of their game tonight. When I came in, Darius noted that we were low on several drinks as far as walk-in backup, so while Gus was still here, I popped into the back for some batching. The Gotham Shorts Fest was pretty chill for the first block, and I swung Lydia up from the lobby when they got out to help out with the little pop at Trees. Later on I swung Patrick up to Trees after he finished closing the lobby to help with the bar pop after the second block. 

Customer Comments:

I had to escort a guest out of Trees after he fell asleep sitting up at the bar. Darius noted right when he sat down that the guy has come in before and often attempts to drink to excess. I stirred him awake, and he was incredulous as to why I was asking him to leave. He had already paid his tab, so I told him it was all good and he just had to leave because he had had enough and there is no sleeping at the bar. He then got aggressive, slamming his fist down on the bar and verbally abusing Tevon for no apparent reason. I then, less politely, told him it was time for him to leave. I escorted him down the stairs and he left without further incident. The guest's name is Carmine Mazzone - I believe it would be in the best interest to put him on the No Fly list and 86 him effective immediately. - IP

BAR Staff Observations: 

Darius was awesome about us taking up the entire bar for this tasting. - Gus

The team crushed the Gotham Shorts Fest tonight. Theater service were two big, very quick pops which Tevon and Darius handled with ease. As mentioned earlier, Lydia helped to make a decent sized bar pop look easy, and then later, after the second block let out, Patrick and Tevon held down the push at the bar all the while getting all of their cleaning tasks completed. Excellent work all around. - IP

FOH Staff Observations:

Kobe did a great job tonight. He was always swinging by the pass whenever his drinks needed to be run. Love to see the newbies hitting their stride. - IP
