Manager Communication: 
Jenn batched a bunch of syrups for the upcoming menu and a whole load of Strawberry Mint syrup. Matthew crushed a small batch list - 1 Fleur keg, a Grapes of Wrath batch, and a half batch of Nightmare Material (we only had half a bottle of Banane du Bresil in house). -IP

I cut Matthew at 8p after a small rush for the 7:30 Blink Twice in Th. 5. 
I cut Kelsey at 9:30p after the mini-rush for the special screening of Nowhere in Th. 2. -IP

I put the bag of enamel MubiGo pins for THE SUBSTANCE in front of the Filmbot computer in Lobby bar for tomorrow's service. - IP

BAR Staff Observations: 
Patrick did a great job of customer facing. Didn't need to nudge him away from the pass, and he was excellent with the guests. Jeshua was a rockstar in the lobby.  Insisted on cleaning the bubblers himself, because he likes to be extra thorough. Self-sufficient service all around. This team is great. - IP

FOH Staff Observations: 
Isobel was awesome supporting the upstairs theaters. Ryan is fitting in great and was a constant presence at the pass when his drinks needed to be run. Great job! -IP

Hiring/Training:
Rebecca and Jovani were excellent (as usual) with their trainees. Siena and Max were in very good hands and seem to be picking it up quickly. -IP

Jeshua noted that we are almost out of food safe lubricant for the frozen machines. I was unable to find more in bar prep or kitchen. Was not needed tonight, but wanted to get ahead of it before Frozen cleaning day. -IP

Maintenance: 
The ice machine went on the fritz for a bit. Jenn and I reset it, and it worked for a little while before halting during the "harvesting process". I pulled off the cover and checked the guts - nothing visibly wrong, and after resetting it again, it began to make ice consistently. Was making ice through the end of service tonight. Definitely give it a check tomorrow. -IP 

The floor drain in the lobby bar underneath the triple sink and beer tower was clogged when Jeshua was closing, resulting in a minor flood of water behind the bar. After Vlad took care of the excess water, Jeshua went full Tim the Toolman Taylor and removed the drain filter which was caked with gunk, cleaned it and put it back - hopefully resolving the issue going forward. Dude is a champ. - IP

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
