Manager Communication:

Ariel hit it on the drink pass at Tree's and made the ship run. Got a huge hit with Beetle Juice 2 and Park Slope Parents- wow. Also I ordered 144 more pint glasses. Hats off to the bar team. All got tokens. -GS

Just something to be aware of. I recently heard from Jeshua the other day that he feels like Patrick treats him like a barback. He stated that when he does the service bar, he only focuses there and does not help at all behind the bar. Then he asks them to refill all the cocktail product in the store-n-pours. I get where Jeshua is coming from. Today though Bryan said something similar but to Patrick and it just seemed like fun banter. Saying that he didn't do shit during the rush. I was there and there was definitely a bunch of tickets printing for a heavily sold TH1/TH2 rush. Maybe this happened before the big rush? I am unsure but feel the need to mention only because I was told 2 days in row. - AB2 

Customer Comments:

A trans woman was at Tree's and asked for a manager. I spoke with her and she mentioned that she was going through her name change and had a tab open with a card that had her dead name. She stated that a bartender referred to her by her first name that she no longer carries (This is her dead name. I learned this today. Pretty tight.). She said that she would suggest we state the last name instead or card color when referring to guests who have tabs. She said that she felt uncomfortable and felt like people were looking at her. She also stated that it is dangerous. I felt where she was coming from and I think she was right. I told all the bartenders to use last names when referring to someone's tab from now on (something I already think should be done). Everyone was receptive and we all agreed. - AB2

We had a lady with kids get some togo food in the lobby. She got burgers and Popcorns. She wanted a bag and we are currently 86 on bags. I decided to just give her a tote bag for her food. I wanted to give her a bag and that was the only thing we had/I could think of. She was really happy about it and stated how often her and her family come here and how much they all love it here. - AB2

BAR Staff Observations:

Team really crushed it tonight. Very impressed. -GS

Was pretty gangsta boogie today. I was at the pass pretty much the whole time. Tevon was great help while Matthew was batching. I had him come up to Tree's and he thugged it out as hands for pass and regular bar service. Gabrielle was awesome solo in lobby. Bryan killed it and I am starting to see him get a lil more comfortable. He's got himself some typical dad jokes and I love to see it. Homie's great. Patrick was solid at the pass. Definitely like rocking service bar with him because I feel like we are learning together since it is a newer thing for me to do here. - AB2

FOH Staff Observations:

Gangsta Boogie. Alex, Breanna, Julianna, Erika, Barry, Michael, Jovani, and Jose absolutely crushed it. They were all so helpful. Especially Jovani who was running racks through dish when I had a busy TH1/TH2 push. - AB2

Special Events?

New Parents, Recent Parents, Young Parents, I don't know what this thing is called but it brings a lot of peeps out and I am a big fan of that. Tree's was popping off and jumpin'. It was dope and everyone crushed it. - AB2

At one point the drink special for the Parents thing was ringing under one POS and adding taxes but the other one was not. I just had Bryan close and reopen the app and it was fine after that but something to be aware of.
