Tuesday 09.10 Jenn/Gus/Ian/Dana



Manager Communication: 
Jenn was very thorough with my training today. Lots of great insight into prepping the cue sheet and being ahead of the curve when anticipating busy times at the bar. Dodge gave me an extremely detailed facilities tour - the view from the roof is incredible, the basement - not so much. Awesome second day. IP

Extremely calm day within the building. Gather the syrups for the tasting tomorrow and put them in a bus bin inside the walkin. Please double check to make sure I got all the items. -DL

BAR Staff Observations:
First round was very slow. Darius killed it on checking to make sure everything was set for later rounds and Tevon crushed a bunch of batching. Darius, Brian and Lydia were aces during the only slightly busy rush during dinner round of Beetlejuice. Darius and Brian took great care of a little bar push before the rep screening. IP

Hiring/Training:
Ian got the special edition Nick Dodge facilities tour today, and was able to sit in on his first bar manager meeting.  He will be shadowing Dana for the rest of the evening. JH   

Ian obviously understands the flow of service extremely well and super supportive on the floor. It was a quiet evening so I was able to hang back and just let him run the show on the floor until his end time while only giving input where really needed. -DL

Prep List:
Should make more of Nightmare Material tomorrow when more Bloody Shiraz arrives. -DL

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
