Manager Communication:
Quiet morning. After the rush from TH1 Cry Baby everything mellowed out. Was able to get Maya out around 2:45 once Kelsey got in. Matthew and Natasha were able to crush Trees between the two of them and Natasha got out as soon as the closers got in. -DL 

Service definitely ramped up once we got to the dinner rounds, with Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Blink Twice, & Speak No Evil really growing in ticket sales over the course of the evening.  There were a few pops of crowds at Trees during the night, but that dwindled around11:00pm. JH

BAR Staff Observations:
Was able to cut Matthew shortly after I got in and both bars had been restocked.  Kelsey stayed up at Trees to get Lydia and Patrick through some Th1/2 service pushes, and then went down to Lobby to work the first floor rush with Bryan before she got out of here.  Lydia has really got a handle on holding down a busy service pass, and has gotten much better about communicating when an extra pair of hands is needed.

I kept an eye on Patrick's interactions with other bartenders behind the bar after the service notes from last week.  Honestly, for the majority of the evening he was guest-facing and then offering Lydia support at the service pass when they needed it.  After one rush, Lydia offered to swap out with him, but Patrick was happy to remain guest-facing for the rest of the evening.  I did notice that cycling through glassware is a service blindspot for him, but it seemed like it was a situation where he hasn't gotten into the rhythm of prioritizing glassware mid-service.  We talked a little about it, and I reiterated that folding glassware restocking into service makes it easier to keep up with service tickets, which he understood.  Will definitely continue to keep an eye on his interactions with Jeshua, but Patrick was a team player tonight. JH

FOH Staff Observations: 
Sabrina was really helpful with washing glassware at Trees during the last Th2 rush, and jumped in to help without being asked. JH

Prep List:
Not much batching needed today. -DL

A Negroni keg and two N/A Strawberry Mint Spritzer kegs should be made tomorrow.  Both kegs kicked in the last round, so not anything that needs to be done first thing. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Baldor order received today. -DL 

US Foods arriving Monday morning. JH

Maintenance:
The leak behind lobby bar reappeared today. Looks like one of the pipes underneath the 3 department sink is loose and if it's pushed back too far the water will miss the drain. Added to the maintenance doc. -DL

Mobilebytes Issues: 
Patrick closed out a check with the incorrect card, which was basically when two tabs got added together accidentally.  When I went to void the Credit Card payment, MB would not allow me to do so.  Carly came over to help me out, but it kept refusing to void the payment.  Ultimately, Carly did a refund of the check, and we gave the guest a heads up that the initial charge may take a few days to clear from their account. JH

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
