Manager Communication:
Woooooooo, The Wild Robot did great in the big theaters today, with the first round Th1 screening almost tripling in ticket sales between doors and showtime. And once we hit the second round, plenty of other screenings were selling similarly, keeping all three floors bopping. Trees Lounge had a pretty nice crowd during the day, definitely helped along by the rain, and was absolutely packed by 5:30pm. JH
Large crowd stayed throughout the majority of the evening to dodge the rain. Trees stayed bustling til around 10p. Downstairs theaters grew steadily throughout the day and the last rounds were bangers in 5/7. We ran out of Mr. Fusion, so I quickly made a double batch which replenished both bars. I also made another batch of Neon Demon, and a 1/3 batch of Dolin's Caddy cheater. Should be aces for tomorrow's openers. - IP

A Guest at trees asked to speak with a manager and I was at the pass, so I spoke to her - she took me over to her husband and said that a tray of drinks had been dropped on her husband's head. I immediately offered and provided a bag of ice (wrapped in a towel) for the man to hold to his head. He took it and they sat in the small vestibule in trees. After I made sure the man and his wife knew they were going to be taken care of, I notified the floor managers and Wyatt took over from there. - IP
BAR Staff Observations:
BAR Staff Observations:
Bryan and Matthew absolutely rocked their opens, and prepped so well that neither bar needed a restock until well after mids arrived. Pushing back the two shifts was definitely helpful, as Trees didn't really start developing a sizeable crowd until just before 3:00pm. Miguel was a champ about gathering glassware, and Gabrielle slid right into a very busy service push once she arrived. JH
The excellent teamwork continued when I got in around 4:45. Matthew was batch king and made a whole host of stuff while Miguel held down the early evening Trees rush with Gab and shortly thereafter Lydia and Darius. Brian gets high marks today as he hopped into a random pop at the bar around 6p as he was about to leave. Family meal was up so we were rotating bartenders and the sudden crowd at the bar was immediately taken care of because he stuck it through. Really great to see. Gab was the glassmaster tonight - always being aware of when the dirty racks started to pile up and jumping out to get them washed. - IP
FOH Staff Observations:
Definitely felt the crunch of glassware restocking during the busy hour from 2:30-3:30pm, and Miguel was a huge help running around the building and bringing down any dirty racks he could find. It was a very busy service push, so servers were otherwise occupied with good reason. Just a reminder to keep an eye on glassware, so that bartenders are not realizing the need until they are down to their last dozen pints. JH
Glassware was a little bit of a headache, but the servers did a really great job of flipping and getting the dirty glasses down to Trees to get washed right as the next rushes were starting. It would be great if we could preempt that with a bit more pre-bussing, but overall we never had to hold service for glasses. Caleb and Jose were on top of running the glassware whenever any of the bar team were too busy making/expo'ing drinks to get to them. Good job! - IP

Ice machine at Trees was being a real pain today - I hard reset it once right after the dinner rush and it worked for a bit, then stopped. When I went to turn it off and back on, it read "b - bin is full" which it very much was not. I turned it off for about an hour, and when I turned it back on, it started on the ice making cycle again as normal. Was working as of this writing, but definitely needs to be kept in check tomorrow. - IP
