Monday 07.31 Jenn/Edgar

Manager Communication: Another busy Monday here. Barbie continues to reign supreme and bless us with a lot of traffic in the building. Both bars were cranking, but TH1/2/4/6 brought the bulk of service tickets in.  BAR Staff Observations : Eliel got on top of juicing, roll ups, and citrus slicing during the first round, in preparation for Trivia tomorrow and dinner service.  Miguel really set up Trees for success, we got through the Th1/2 sold out Barbie seatings in the first round without having to run back to prep for any items. JH In addition to above, Eliel was able to get through a good chunk of batching, but we still have things to catch up on when ingredients arrive.  Everyone came to work and just went to town on those service tickets. Wear and tear was apparent though as we had another well sold day with only 4 bartenders. We're holding on strong! EA Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Staffing needs for National Cinema Day! EA 86ed / counts on items: 86 Athletic Cerveza...

Sunday 7/30 Eliel - Edgar

Manager Communication : Pretty busy and smooth running afternoon.  The 1-2-1-2-1 barbie turnover is tough. EL Thank goodness we got a break from the heat, but the B2B Barbies were definitely cooking us. Consistently busy day at the bars with 0 downtime (and very little time to regroup and prepare for the next rounds) in between runs. EA Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Openers Ashley and Maya crushed it, and the mids were great as well. Great team. EL Once again, everyone came together today with only a 6 person crew and despite being exhausted, still brought their A game to the bar. Phenomenal communication from the team all day and everyone rotated taking point for the B2B Bahhhhbies. We opted not to do the slushies as per Eliel's recommendation because we'd just have to empty them tomorrow after service again for the power cut. Also, fatigue. EA FOH Staff Observations: Great team this morning. EL Staff Meeting Agenda notes: Ridiculously busy second week of Barbi...

Saturday 07.29 Jenn/Edgar

Manager Communication : Busy all day again, with plenty of screenings selling out all day.  All crowds came ready to order lots of food and bev, so we were busy from the moment doors opened. JH Not much more to add to the above other than the team handled with with more ticket sales this week, but one less bartender. It was definitely felt, but was as smooth as could be.  EA BAR Staff Observations : Maya and Natasha set up both bars for open, and Natasha floated up to Trees once Ian arrived.  Ian held down lobby solo until Matthew came in, and was able to handle all service tickets with Dwight around to assist with ticket sales.  Trees was staffed up all morning/afternoon, which gave us time to do hefty restocks for both bars and then Ashley and Natasha took turns batching. JH Ashley mentioned today that she felt behind all day in Trees whether it was bottle tops still being on bottles or bottles missing pour spouts altogether. Although she praised Maya for doing lea...

Friday 07.28 Jenn/Nick

Manager Communication: We have been Barbenheimered aagain today. Pretty much non stop all day.  Our induction burner stopped working today. I brought the one from Williamsburg over as we need it over here this weekend moch more. I ordered a new one today, so we can return Williamsburgs when it arrives from Websta.  Customer Comments: Around 10pm Mathew let me know that there was a customer in trees who they decided to cut off, and then after that a female guest complained about him being weird with her. He seemed pretty intoxicated, so I flagged him to Dwight to try to expedite him out of the building. Dwight recognized him because he had sold him tickets to the 3:45 Oppenheimer and the 10:15 Barbie. We made the call that he should not be allowed to stay for Barbie, as he had been there drinking all day and was visibly intoxicated. Dwight let him know, and he became very argumentative. we were able to get him down to the lobby and refund the ticket back to his card, but he c...

Thursday 7.27.23 Edgar/Eliel

Manager Communication: Solid start to the day with another sold out Barbie to grace our doors followed by a decently sold Elemental on the bottom floor.  Super duper hot outside today created some midday condensation on the staircase by the MOD office as well as by the kitchen entrance by TH5.  Today was very busy, Great Trees vibes all night.  BAR Staff Observations: Ashley crushed the first round in Trees with some support. Glassware is rough in the beginning because so much gets taken to the kitchen by the closers the night before, but we got through it as I unpacked it quickly while she handled service tickets. Tevon held down the lobby while getting some juicing done for the day. Opening was a breeze since we had a lead at each bar. EA Ashley super batched, Tevon hung out at Trees with Jeshua and Gabrielle. Everyone worked hard and did great jobs.  Jeshua took lead at service and did a great job.  At some point during the last Barbie load in, he got intimid...

Wednesday 7.26.23 Edgar/Eliel

Manager Communication: Another busy start to the day with groups of people waiting outside the gate at open. There was a little more breathing room between the lobby and Trees which made it easier for me to support each one during its peak time vs ping ponging between floors. EA Rest of the shift went pretty smoothly. EL BAR Staff Observations: Andrea was a machine as usual. We treated this like a sold out Brunch round and she just beasted the service pass like she never left. Matthew was incredibly self sufficient today and was on top of making garnishes to help us upstairs before this Barbie went off. Great communication between the floors until the closers got in.  Having a fifth person helped us catch up on batching and get ahead of the curve a little bit. Ashley pretty much filled out all holes that we had left after I tried to get us caught up yesterday.  Have not heard from Ian yet regarding his medical visit. I'll reach out tomorrow and see where we can go from there t...

Tuesday 07.25.23 Nick/Edgar

Manager Communication: Another busy day here. All big theater were either sold out or well sold. Barbie continues to dominate whatever theater it's in and it looks like it'll keep that momentum straight into the weekend. All hail Barbenheimer. EA Customer Comments: Had a person come in to Trees at last call and try to order a couple shots according to Maya. The woman couldn't produce an ID when Maya carded her and then proceeded to give a bit of a pushback. Ultimately she ordered a Coco Lime Slushie and THEN tried to pay with a counterfeit $50 dollar bill. Maya clocked this and quickly called an MOD for a counterfeit pen (she did this to stall) I came up to the bar to check the bill with her and sure enough it was counterfeit. The bill was the wrong size and the markings were jet black (Do we keep counterfeit bills? I handed it back to her and said we couldn't accept it.) Eventually this woman produces a real $10 dollar bill to pay for the drink, so not knowing whether ...

Monday 7.24 Edgar/Eliel

Manager Communication: Busy start to the day opening to two sold out Barbies (Th1/Th3) and a well sold Mission Impossible (TH3). Trees started quiet, but grew in presence as the day progressed into more sold out rounds. By the afternoon and late round, Trees had a constant amount of people. EA Very busy evening. Trees had a great crowd. EL BAR Staff Observations: Solid open by Tevon and Darius. Darius was great about taking up most of the prep today since Tevon went straight into a sold out Barbie. I was there to help with the rush and it turned out fine since there wasn't much traffic at Trees for the first round.  Closers got in and everyone was able to carve out a second to get family meal.  Jenna was gracious enough to come in for a support shift from 7pm to 12am. EA Rest of the shift was smooth, everyone was spent at the end but they all worked great together! EL FOH Staff Observations: Sabrina, Raekwon, Erica, Monica, Kaya were great guiding the newer servers. EL  S...

Sunday 7/23 Eliel & Jenn

Manager Communication : Pretty smooth and busy Morning and afternoon. EL Service was nonstop throughout the night, with Trees still hosting a crowd, albeit a smaller one than last night. JH BAR Staff Observations : The staff came to slay. I'm so happy to work with these wonderful bartenders. I couldn't have asked for a better team and a smoother busy shift.  EL Great team through the night, everyone was great about communicating service needs and just ploughing through rush after rush.  Jenna and Maya held down Lobby, with Maya getting out once the fourth round Th3 Barbie was settled.  Jenna handled the last sold out Barbie solo and closed without issue.  Miguel was able to stick around until a little after six, which was a huge help getting Trees restocked and reset for dinner.  Darius took lead on the service pass, Jeshua focused on guest-facing service and split clearing the floor with Tevon, who floated between guests and service.   I've been worki...

Saturday 07.22 Jenn/Edgar

Manager Communication :  Nonstop Boppenheimer.  The Truman Show actually gave Trees a fair amount of time to preset and prepare for service, while first floor had the first Barbie screening of the day.  The spacing between load ins in Th1/2 was really appreciated, and service never got backed up at either bar, despite simultaneous back-to-back sold out screenings on all three floors. JH Just to echo above. Openers and the first mid will have some time to prep tomorrow before we enter sold out service again tomorrow. Garnishes were depleted by the end of the day and there's a couple quarts on each floor.  That being said, from the afternoon until the last seating, it was nonstop at both bars. Lobby was pretty self sufficient today and supported each other with stocking and switching off between box office and service tickets.  The 8th body today was immensely appreciated and made the difference between chaos and a smooth shift. Monday is looking like it's buildin...

Friday 07.21 Jenn/Nick

Communication : Boppenheimer continues, with all Barbie screenings sol out for today and tomorrow. JH BAR Staff Observations: Great jobs all around. Everyone was pretty tired by the end of the night but we made it through.  FOH Staff Observations: Drink support was good tonight, and well needed.  Staff Meeting Agenda notes : Nick brought over two cases of pilsner glasses, and the rest of the webstaurant order (two cases of pilsner and two cases of collins glasses) arrived today.  The extra pilsner glasses really made service for the Barbie screenings run a lot more smoothly. JH Prep List : Ashley batched a bunch of stuff but was not able to get to everything. We will need Coco-lime slushie, lemonade, manhattan project, arbol tequila and 2 kegs of watermelon G&T made tomorrow.  Ordering/Receiving/Shipping : Baldor arriving tomorrow. JH

Thursday 07.20 Jenn/Nick/Eliel

Manager Communication:Pretty good dinner service, a little rough last round but not terrible. Nice Trees crowds. EL BAR Staff Observations: Everyone did a great job and everyone was fried by that last round.  It was a tough one but I think they'll all shine during the weekend. EL FOH Staff Observations:  Pretty good at Pass getting drinks today.  Hiring/Training: Jeshua day 4 went great.  He got a lot of Filmbot training but still needs the regular repetition. He's got everything else down. Ready to go live! Special Events? th6 Mulan Birthday hung out at Trees before their theater opened.  Staff Meeting Agenda notes : Pilsner glasses are running pretty tight due to the N/A Barbie special.  When possible, keep eyes on prebussing those glasses specifically during Barbie screenings, and prioritize running those back to Trees and kitchen during flips.  Nick will be bringing over two cases of pilsner glasses from WB tomorrow, and we have two more en route f...

Wednesday 07.19.23 Edgar/Eliel

Manager Communication:  Calm before the storm here in NPP. It's almost as if you could feel the energy in the air. That being said, it was a quiet day in the building today. So bar was able to begin to prep for the weekend with ease.   Let's make sure we keep an eye on sales this weekend, and adjust as needed. Jeshua is live as of Friday. Let's use him if needed!  The rest of the evening went pretty smoothly. The lobby popped off a bit more than Trees during dinner. EL Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Quiet day so I was able to have both Gabrielle and Matthew split prep duties to help us get started for the weekend. Gabrielle juiced for us, while Matthew cut garnishes since we're going to be busy at jump. That being said, keep an eye on levels and get openers tomorrow to start making more if needed. EA Good team today. EL Prep List: Looking good going into the big day. I made one of each specials. Barbie is on the bottom shelf.  We'll probably need an...

Tuesday 07.18 Edgar/Jenn

Manager Communication : Mellow day in the theaters, with Trivia being the main source of activity for bar. JH   BAR Staff Observations : Darius did a great job in Lobby, handling a couple of well sold dinner round screenings solo once Eliel went upstairs for Trivia.  Eliel, Lydia, and Maya held down Trees during Trivia, but, going forward, we should prioritize having another lead, or more seasoned bartender, scheduled upstairs for Trivia when possible.  No major hiccups tonight, but myself and Eliel agreed that it just helps the event go a little more smoothly.   Additionally, Lydia incorrectly processed a tip for a card that was left behind with an unsigned slip after Trivia, which I was able to correct.  I explained to them to call for a manager to add tips for lost cards, and to ask for clarification if they do not know the proper protocol. JH Special Events? Trivia had a smaller turnout than last week, but still filled up Trees and kept bartenders busy...

Monday 7.17.23 Edgar/Jenn

Manager Communication: Very hot day.  Vlad from SKI was able to drop off one keg of Ebbs Summer Ale so we could take it off the 86 list. EA Busy for a Monday, with NoBudge and Twister doing really well, and MI getting a lot of walk in ticketing throughout the day. JH BAR Staff Observations : Lydia and Miguel were well into service by the time I arrived, with bars prepped for the dinner round.  Natasha was great about floating between both floors to help out Trees with busier service pushes, and to back up Miguel while Tevon was in the back batching. Once Natasha finished up closing Lobby, she helped Tevon with the post-Twister crowd and then was able to get out of here. JH Special Events? NoBudge sold out and then brought a decent crowd to Trees afterwards.  Twister also sold really well, and had a small crowd hit Trees just as the NoBudge crowd was closing out. JH Prep List : Looking good for service tomorrow.   Looking forward to the weekend, tomorrow and Wed...

Sunday 7.16.23 Eliel/Edgar

Manager Communication: Rainy, muggy day today. However, business was booming all until the last round where the building finally slowed down. Good amount of people at Trees today before and after shows. EA BAR Staff Observations:  Natasha did an outstanding job as always at navigating a busy sold out theater by herself in trees and then pivoted to stocking and supporting the bar team through some sold out Mission Impossible Rushes. Miguel also was able to slip between the lobby and Trees seamlessly to help fill service gaps as needed.  Mids and closers held the dinner rounds down. Tevon had Jeshua as a trainee tonight and was good at shadowing him around, but giving him room to go off on his own. He was always a few steps away to answer any question. EA Hiring/Training: Jeshua was on Day 3 with Tevon. Jeshua takes notes very well. We focused on his day 3 checklist, but also delved deeper into MobileBytes to build his speed when ringing things in. He is a pleasure to work with ...

Saturday 07.15 Jenn/Edgar

Manager Communication : Pretty mellow first round, with Muppets leading the charge for the first round.  Sales grew throughout the day, and most theaters had filled out by the time we got to the dinner round. JH The afternoon and dinner rounds were pretty sold out. These were followed by a pretty sold late round as well. Lobby was pretty nonstop yet swampy all day. Trees finally got some life after the A/C kicked on to cool down the room so we had a decent crowd for some of the evening.  I got one of the big fans going in the lobby to combat the heat while the A/C is down. EA BAR Staff Observations: Despite the heat, all staff was in relatively high spirits and rolled with the heatwave. Natasha, Lydia, and Matthew definitely felt the brunt of the heat in the lobby but worked their way through it. Great second day of training it sounds like for Jeshua, more on that below.  Maya, Ashley, Gabrielle, and Ian were in Trees today and rolling with the service tickets and the gue...

Friday 07.14 Jenn/Eliel

Manager Communication: Pretty good evening. Nice crowds. Good trees crowds.  BAR Staff Observations: Everyone was great today. Tevon opened Lobby and got a bunch of batching done. Ian opened Trees and got them ready for a very possible successful shift. Gabrielle did great closing lobby and Ashley and Matthew were fantastic at Trees!  FOH Staff Observations: Great crew grabbing trays today!  86ed / counts on items : 86'd Ebbs until Monday. JH Prep List: Ready for Brunch. Check on cheaters.  Captain Blood needs charged. I thought I did but forgot to open the line. I ended up charging it for an hour but didn't want to leave it over night.  Ordering/Receiving/Shipping : Baldor arriving tomorrow.   I reached out to SKI, as we were still waiting for the Ebbs we ordered on Tuesday, and it turns out that they never put the order in after receiving it.  Our rep is going to bring a keg over on Monday, and the remainder of the order will arrive on Tuesday. ...

Thursday 07.13 Jenn/Eliel

Manager Communication: Great evening. Busy and steady. EL BAR Staff Observations: Great team today. Tevon opened Lobby and batched a bunch. Matthew closed lobby great. Ashley opened Trees and trained Jeshua. Ian closed trees. All did a great job.  Hiring/Training : Jeshua had his first day of training, opening Trees with Ashley.  His Job Description, Wage & Tip Pool Acknowledgment Forms, and Identification Documents have all been scanned and emailed. JH Great Training day for Jeshua. He's pretty plug 'n' play.  Ashley had nothing but rave reviews. He was great at Trees service. Quick, precise, and asks all the right questions. EL 86ed / counts on items : 86'd Ebbs, still waiting on a delivery. JH Prep List: Bloody needs to be made.  Ordering/Receiving/Shipping : Baldor & US Foods arriving tomorrow.  Empire has our Prosecco scheduled to arrive tomorrow, too. JH

Wednesday 07.13.23 Eliel/Nick/Edgar

Manager Communication: Steady crowd at Trees tonight with dinner round keeping us busy in the building as well as Film Feast working the lobby bar.  Karaoke brough its usual crowd, but was augmented by the post film feast crowd. Solid amount of people through last call.  The word about Happy Hour seems to be getting out. EA BAR Staff Observations: Great opens from both Gabrielle and Matthew. Matthew was getting a lot of prep done for film feast by the time I was in. Gabrielle and Ashley were up in trees running the show with a good turnout for Happy Hour at the bar as well.  Matthew was a great third hand when he moved up stairs since the lobby was packed with Nick, Eliel, and Maya running all service from the other side of the lobby. Great work from everyone tonight. EA Hiring/Training: I set a folder in my mailbox for Jeshua. Jenn he should be bringing his ID and SS card tomorrow. I printed out his new hire data form, but have not yet been able to scan it. EA Special Ev...

Tuesday Nick/Edgar/Jenn

BAR Staff Observations : Gabrielle held down a busy weekday lobby solo for the majority of the evening without issue.  Darius, Miguel, and Tevon crushed a very busy Trivia, and both openers were able to get out of here shortly after eleven.  Miguel took the floor and was great about prebussing and keeping up with guests, while Darius and Tevon handled the crowd and theater service. JH FOH Staff Observations : Still having an issue with newer runners being very confused when running food at Trees.  A couple were unaware of the floor plan we use for Trivia, even though we have floor maps in kitchen and at Trees.  However, after the first few trays, everyone was on the same page. JH Special Events? Trivia was busy.  Not the most crowded, but we had a ton of teams (24!) and plenty of newcomers, some of which utilized the seating up on the mezz.  Due to the amount of teams and how long it takes them to tally up points in between rounds, Trivia has been going la...

Monday 07.10 Jenn/Eliel

Manager Communication : Chill Monday vibes, which really gave bar team time to reset after the weekend and solidify new menu changes.  Dinner round had a couple of theaters with decent sales, but nothing overwhelming at either bar. JH Customer Comments:    Today at about 8:30ish Sabrina in theater 6 told me someone said their Hibiscus lime soda tasted like alcohol. I went to Trees, tasted the mix and realized it was neon demon.  I told the MODs and Sabrina that we inadvertently served that guest alcohol.  I checked every other Hibi Lime behind both bars and the rest were fine.  After the movie was over I joined Jarred to speak to the guest, apologize profusely, and I let them know what exactly was served.  The guest seemed okay at the end and thanked us for our customer service.  EL BAR Staff Observations : I touched base with both Lydia and Miguel before we opened to go over new menu items, as neither were able to attend the menu change meet...

Sunday 7/9 Eliel/Edgar

Manager Communication : Good opening, busy morning. I was able to get the batching up between services. EL  PM was pretty straightforward outside of an incident that Nathaniel outlined in the main FOH blog. Humidity was brutal again and the rain was one and off all afternoon, but not much else noteworthy. EA BAR Staff Observations: Natasha and Andrea had great opens. Mids Chester who stayed at Lobby and Maya at Trees were great and everyone kept up with the flow of service.  As mentioned above, everyone kept pace with service and was out pretty much by their scheduled out times. Everyone had a smooth close and the frozen machines were cleaned as usual. EA 86ed / counts on items :  Cold brew. EL Prep List: A keg of Old Fashioned, A Keg of Negroni, Cantina Machine (Maybe a half batch if we're losing it this week), and possibly some Paloma. EA Pay Outs : $25 Coco Lopez. EL

Saturday 07.08 Jenn/Edgar

Manager Communication : Pretty mellow for a Saturday brunch, which was a welcome change of pace before we get MI this Tuesday.  American Psycho sold just about 100 tickets, and had a lovely brunch crowd.  Definitely got some people sticking around Trees to partake in the Brunch Happy Hour, often grabbing one more drink at the bar before heading to their movie. JH Trees was packed to the gills for the BRIC stamping event. It felt like we had at least 300 bodies over the course of 3.5 hours as many people came super early to take advantage of the stamp deal plus cheaper drinks. It was great to get people in, but we were definitely at capacity during the duration of this event.  If happy begins to take off in a similar fashion (obviously, not as crazily), we might have to adjust staffing levels. EA BAR Staff Observations: Long day for our openers as they got caught up in the BRIC stamping event. It took two bar managers, and 5 Bartenders to keep this crowd satiated. Natasha ...

Friday 07.07 Jenn/Edgar/Eliel

Manager Communication:  Perfect day to start a new menu. Eliel was super on top of getting us situated with product and menu flips to have us ready to head straight into service.  Nick, I know I said I thought I saw an order for bar from Webstaurant, but it turned out to be a missing amazon order that finally made it for nu foamicide (The one that said cancelled in the history), if you let me know what to look for, I can check in with kitchen because I know that they got a big order as well. EA Dinner and last rounds were busy throughout the building.  The bar did great with the new menu roll out. Everything went out pretty smoothly.  The Piña Colada did pretty well. EL BAR Staff Observations : Successful menu change with lots of helpful notes from bartenders during service.  Touched base with Gabrielle when she came in about new menu items, as she had to miss the meeting yesterday.  She had reviewed the menu before coming in, and was well prepared for serv...

Thursday 7.06.23 Edgar/Jenn/Eliel

Manager Communication: Menu meeting day! Had a lot to get through, but it felt like the bar team was on board and ready for the flip. EA Smooth Evening. Spoons was busy but not overwhelming.  Bars are set up to go for tomorrow. Product and batches are behind both bars. Both Bubblers need to get filled. Trees frozens are set. Lobby needs to get the coconut lime going, but there are four quarts behind the bar. EL BAR Staff Observations: Ashley and Tevon were pretty integral today in helping us on our flip. Tevon was able to give me a hand in batching a preparing what we need to start the day. EA Great team helped accomplish our tasks. EL FOH Staff Observations: Special Events? Spoons had a nice crowd and a small bump at trees after the show. EL 86ed / counts on items: Spring Menu and Indiana Jones special. EL Prep List: Bloody Concentrate EL Ordering/Receiving/Shipping : Baldor arriving tomorrow. JH Maintenance : The AC at Trees and Lobby are not blowing out cold air.  Spoke to...

Wednesday 07.05.23 Edgar/Eliel

Manager Communication: Easy Breezy day. Was nice to be able to get ready for the menu change without having to scurry around the building. EA Pretty easy smooth evening. The firewalk at trees next to the Strawberry lemonade slushy is empty and ready for coconut lime.  Chef Stuart gave the bar three bottles of Milagro he had stashed, since the kitchen isn't going to need them anymore. EL BAR Staff Observations: Great team today. Smooth shift. EL Prep List:  Still need to make the Calamansi Honey right away when Honey gets here. I was able to make a small batch of Lapsang Syrup while we wait for more tea to arrive tomorrow. EA We need Arbol Tequila. We have enough firewalk to get us through tomorrow easily. EL Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Still waiting on: Skurnik, Southern, Empire, Coueur, and Manhattan Beer. EA

Tuesday 7/4/23 (Independence Day) Nick and Jenn

Manager Communication: Very Busy Start to the day. The Jaws crowd especially was drinking, and that rush was pretty intense. Gabrielle and I got through it, and service went well, but I think we should schedule the mid on holidays a little earlier, as most of the busy shows were early -ND  I had Sergo deep clean under the dishpit today. It looked really rough and is not getting cleaned properly regularly, nor are under the bars. According to the doc it should have been Sergo today, but he said he and Mayra always clean the same areas regardless of whoever is scheduled first. Either way opening bar managers need to check those areas out before the opening porters leave and make sure things are cleaned thoroughly. I also bleached all the floor drains around there -ND Service stayed busy through the third round, but definitely mellowed out during the last round, with some brief busy pops of service in Th2 & Th5. -JH Customer Comments: People were in good spirits for the holiday -N...

Monday 07.03 Jenn/Edgar

Manager Communication : Busy, busy first round, into a very buys dinner.  Ticket sales climbed all day before doors, so I expect much the same tomorrow. JH Sold out dinner, mostly sold out late round. No AC in the lobby and Trees. I appreciate that it's getting worked on, but those conditions were pretty unfortunate and unacceptable. Fingers crossed it's fixed by tomorrow because I don't think we can do another day like this. I had to stop service a little earlier than usual because we just couldn't keep up and were all feeling the heat exhaustion. EA BAR Staff Observations: Bar held it together as best as possible, but the heat just got to all of us today. Morale was pretty non-existent by the end of the night as everyone was just exhausted and taking turns going to cool down in the walk in. For what it's worth, I can definitely say I've never seen Andrea upset until today and she's usually very self sufficient and stoic. Nevertheless, she was able to close...

Sunday 7/2 Eliel y Edgar

Manager Communication :  Pretty good afternoon. Good numbers in the first round and great Trees crowds. EL Sold out everywhere. The building was super busy, but also incredibly humid. Trees lounge and the lobby in particular felt like a sauna despite all our efforts to keep it cool. Indiana Jones picked up a lot of steam today and sold out in almost every theater it was in. Asteroid City was a big seller as well. Consistent flow of tickets and bartenders were expedient about drinks getting out in a timely manner. EA BAR Staff Observations: Great opens from Andrea and Natasha. Chester was a great lobby mid, and I made sure to minimize movement and lifting with their injury. Darius was great support at Trees mid. Smooth services. EL As mentioned above, everyone worked really well in sync today. There were a few rough patches where it seemed like we could have used an extra pair of hands, but it was only brief. The team worked really well at pulling themselves out of the weeds and co...

Saturday 7.01 Edgar/Jenn

Manager Communication: Solid open with some walk ins for Nashville. There was some breathing room before Jaws, so the bars were able to set up and get going with ease. That being said, business was steady at both bars in regards to both service tickets and guests. I was able to supplement service wherever we needed. EA Steadily busy throughout the evening, with pretty decent crowds at Trees throughout the night.  Had a few BRIC people come through, but not many. JH BAR Staff Observations: Solid work from the openers today with the consistent flow of people at both bars. Jenna pretty much ran the lobby and started garnish prep for the building while Andrea tackled the Jaws rush and Trees crowd. Once Lydia was in she focused on juicing to keep us going for the weekend while Maya jumped straight into the action at Trees. It felt synergetic and everyone had hands in to get the work done. EA Was able to get both openers out just after six.  Lydia and Matthew took turns floating up ...
