Manager Communication: Mellow day in the theaters, with Trivia being the main source of activity for bar. JH
 
BAR Staff Observations: Darius did a great job in Lobby, handling a couple of well sold dinner round screenings solo once Eliel went upstairs for Trivia.  Eliel, Lydia, and Maya held down Trees during Trivia, but, going forward, we should prioritize having another lead, or more seasoned bartender, scheduled upstairs for Trivia when possible.  No major hiccups tonight, but myself and Eliel agreed that it just helps the event go a little more smoothly.  

Additionally, Lydia incorrectly processed a tip for a card that was left behind with an unsigned slip after Trivia, which I was able to correct.  I explained to them to call for a manager to add tips for lost cards, and to ask for clarification if they do not know the proper protocol. JH

Special Events? Trivia had a smaller turnout than last week, but still filled up Trees and kept bartenders busy.  Getting a lot of newer teams these last few Trivias, with plenty still arriving an hour or two before start time. JH

Prep List: Made a bunch of Hatch Rittenhouse Rye that should get us through the weekend for the Oppenheimer special.  We should probably make some more Almond Orgeat and Demerara, Hibiscus, and Honey Syrups tomorrow, as well as making sure Trees cheaters and fresh juice are backed up. JH

Over/Short on Banks:

Pay Outs: $29.94 (Sour Cherry Candies) JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Baldor and US Foods arriving tomorrow.  Stumptown arriving on Thursday. 

I have two Amazon orders for the Boppenheimer specials awaiting approval. JH

Maintenance: AC worked great at Trees all night, which was great with the Trivia crowd. JH

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
