Friday 07.07 Jenn/Edgar/Eliel



Manager Communication: Perfect day to start a new menu. Eliel was super on top of getting us situated with product and menu flips to have us ready to head straight into service. 

Nick, I know I said I thought I saw an order for bar from Webstaurant, but it turned out to be a missing amazon order that finally made it for nu foamicide (The one that said cancelled in the history), if you let me know what to look for, I can check in with kitchen because I know that they got a big order as well. EA

Dinner and last rounds were busy throughout the building.  The bar did great with the new menu roll out. Everything went out pretty smoothly.  The Piña Colada did pretty well. EL

BAR Staff Observations: Successful menu change with lots of helpful notes from bartenders during service.  Touched base with Gabrielle when she came in about new menu items, as she had to miss the meeting yesterday.  She had reviewed the menu before coming in, and was well prepared for service. JH

Ian did a great job batching and getting us ready for the rest of the weekend. Tevon floated from Lobby to Trees helping wherever he landed. Gabrielle was a rock at lobby. Ashley and Matthew did a great job running the bar and closing it up. EL

FOH Staff Observations: Service at Trees was pretty smooth. Good Teamwork. EL

Hiring/Training: I sent Jeshua his step 1+2 and was able to create his training schedule with Jenn so that he would be with leads at all times if possible. He will be in next Thursday for Day 1 training with Ashley. EA

86ed / counts on items:  We have Casamigos Blanco on the menu but only have Reposado in house. EL

Maintenance: Palco was here today. From the brief conversation I had with him, he let me know that something kept tripping the circuit breaker for Trees (The one in the TH2 Projection room.) He went up on the roof and told me he believes it was something in the condenser tripping the breaker. I didn't get a chance to speak to him at any other point of the afternoon, so I'm not entirely sure what the end result was. EA

Mobilebytes Issues: Bar team has requested the trees cocktails to be added to the Speed Tab. EA

Manager Communication:  Another very busy day, with Th1/2/3/4 pretty well sold, or sold out, for multiple rounds.  Nonstop from the moment doors opened. JH Pretty much same here for the evening. Very busy up until the last round, and lots of business at Trees. - IP Customer Comments:  Some guests this afternoon had an issue with Miguel's service at Lobby, and spoke to me about it.  I sent an email summarizing their complaints and what happened to upper management, in case they reach out in the future. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Busy from the moment doors opened, with both bars navigating sold out theaters throughout the day.  Patrick was a big help with second round rushes and getting the first push of special event drinks out at Trees. JH Patrick and Darius had a good rapport in lobby tonight, which was really great to see. Sunday 01.07 Ashley/Ariel

Manager Communication: Matthew and Miguel came in ready to crush this brunch. The Wizard of Oz, Wonka, and Poor Things all had great drinking crowds. Kelsey came in at 11AM & swung up to support Trees. Once Tevon got in we knocked out plenty of batches and syrups. We were able to cut openers soon after. -AB The Coconut Lime Slushie side of the frozen machine continues to be an issue. I don't understand because it's in the same style machine in Lobby, on the same setting. What do we do? (crying emoji, crying emoji). -AB We ran out of the Piña Colada umbrellas today. I was having bartenders just put a cherry in there. -AB2 I also no longer have access to this blogger anymore so I'm typing here from Ashley's account. -AB2 Customer Comments: Not a specific customer, but I noticed this weekend a lot of N/A Spritzers were being rung in "not too sweet". Manager Communication: The soda gun at Trees Lounge is having issues with Diet Coke. It has moments of coming out with no syrup. There is syrup in the bag still so I think Coca cola should be contacted to have it checked out before it is a further issue. -LB Super busy Sunday chilled out for a chill evening. -LB Customer Comments: While helping out Josef in the lobby today I had an idea that might streamline his tendency to takeover the attention of the lobby bartender or floor manager (or anyone who stops to chat, haha). Since he usually calls in to get his tickets beforehand, we know when he's going to be coming in - since he ALWAYS asks what movies we have coming up, and if we will have x, y or z - maybe we can print out an easily readable piece of paper with the upcoming schedule (as we know it) that we can hand to him and tell him all the information is on the paper.
