Saturday 07.08 Jenn/Edgar
Manager Communication: Pretty mellow for a Saturday brunch, which was a welcome change of pace before we get MI this Tuesday. American Psycho sold just about 100 tickets, and had a lovely brunch crowd. Definitely got some people sticking around Trees to partake in the Brunch Happy Hour, often grabbing one more drink at the bar before heading to their movie. JH
Trees was packed to the gills for the BRIC stamping event. It felt like we had at least 300 bodies over the course of 3.5 hours as many people came super early to take advantage of the stamp deal plus cheaper drinks. It was great to get people in, but we were definitely at capacity during the duration of this event.
If happy begins to take off in a similar fashion (obviously, not as crazily), we might have to adjust staffing levels. EA
BAR Staff Observations: Long day for our openers as they got caught up in the BRIC stamping event. It took two bar managers, and 5 Bartenders to keep this crowd satiated. Natasha got a bit of batching done and then jumped back into the fray because suddenly the bar was 4-5 guests deep all around for several hours. Jenn helped behind the bar while I supplemented from outside and kept the bar stocked as best I could with product and glassware. The team really came together under this pressure and got the job done. With Natasha, Andrea, Ashley, Matthew, and Ian, as well as Jenn and myself. There couldn't have been a better case scenario.

That being said, we probably could have used another pair of hands to get the openers out at a better time, but these events are so unpredictable and could have just been dead with an extra body. It just depends on the artist that's playing and this was a popular one.
Maya and Lydia pretty much ran downstairs with Dwight for support while we were swamped upstairs. They were pretty good at keeping trees stocked with garnish.
As the event tapered off more towards 730pm, we were able to get Natasha and Andrea out finally. All the staff was in great spirits despite being taken for a ride, and because everyone missed family meal, we thought it was best to get them some food. EA
FOH Staff Observations: We are eternally grateful for Madelaine who kept helping us bus the floor when she had free time. EA

Special Events? BRIC Skip the Line event. EA
I just want to reiterate how absolutely bananas the pre-show crowd for the BRIC event was, and how amazing bar team was. Could not have asked for a better group behind the bars today, everyone absolutely crushed service. JH
Staff Meeting Agenda notes: For the next bar email: Making sure that the walk in is closed completely when not in use. I passed by the walk in several times today and found it cracked open.

Now that we're juicing three different citruses, would it be possible to get a small electric juicer to help us expedite the process? I know that it would save a lot of time in the long run. Thoughts? EA
86ed / counts on items: The Coconut Lime Slushie/Pina Colada is selling pretty well. I batched the last I could with the coco Lopez we had left, but we should probably up our pars. EA
Prep List: We are really getting through the Coconut Lime Slushie, so may need to batch that with the same regularity that we batch the Fire Walk With Me. JH

Just looking at numbers and it looks pretty neck and neck for the pina colada+ coco lime slushie vs the firewalk. So I definitely cosign this.
We couldn't get through a second wave of batching due to how incredibly busy we were for the BRIC event, so we'll definitely need (in order of impotance):
-Fresh Juices (Both Lemon and Lime)
-Neon Demon
-Firewalk
-Paloma (We're flying through this as well)
-Hibiscus Syrup
