Thursday / 7.31.25 / Gus & Ariel / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: Killer team this am: Gus, Rebecca, Gil & Jeremy to round things out. Feel like everyone got a ton accomplished. Was great. Dion came in as relief. - GS BAR Staff Observations: Patrick was a bit behind the 8 ball today due to trains and such - GS Matthew and Natasha were absolutely stellar in Tree's during the events. TH3 had their after party at the same time that TH2 PRVT Event had their pre-party thang. Lots of peeps were in the building and they absolutely BODIED that rush. Jeshua rocked out Lobby solo with no issues at all. He was on top of his game. Jeshua has really become such a strong team member. Especially when working solo in the lobby. - AB2 FOH Staff Observations: Rebecca is literally always a pleasure to work with. - GS Jovani was awesome tonight in TH1, helping out the bar with dishes, and other minor bar needs. She was also killing it in the theater and her and Alayna were a good team in there. Thursdae is dope. I was about to run a tray...

Wednesday 7/30 Gus/Lauren

Manager Communication: Bar will begin ordering straws (rather than Kitchen) from To Rise Supplies as they are .1 cheaper per unit and are better quality than the ones we currently have. They will still live in Malkovich as per usual. Let me know if there is any issue with this new variety. -LB Ordered a basket to mount in Trees Lounge so we can have more menus for the busy bar. -LB BAR Staff Observations: Matthew and Tevon are just professionals.-GS Holy Wednesday night Batman. Matthew and Gabrielle managed an insane Theater 2 into Trees pre-gaming for Theater 1 crowd, plus Theater 1 insane rush and the 4/6 accompanying tickets while also dealing with general clean up. I hit them both with tokens. -LB Sick Leave/ Call outs: Ian, feel better Special Events: To Live & Die in LA bonanza   86ed / counts on items: 10 count on Gunther's pistol palace but are waiting on Ancho Reyes I believe-LB Prep List: Had T make some FWWM, simple syrup and Lemonade. There will be a massive r...

Tuesday 7/29/25 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:  Postponing bar storage organization to next Tuesday when the tables/chairs are out for a little more maneuvering and it isn't 99 degrees.-LB Trivia-less Tuesday still had great business at the bar. The sold out concert thing had a great crowd and they stayed for a while afterwards. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Team was great - Darius stuck around way longer than anticipated with the business at Trees, and was instrumental in keeping service smooth at the bar and at the service pass. I had to jump in at the pass when the theater 2 concert crowd let out, but otherwise Darius and Tevon crushed it tonight. Greg was just as great in the lobby. - IP FOH Staff Observations:   Raekwon as always killing it in the tower all alone.-LB Finn could take a little more time and care to check the floor for red ticket flags - on more than three occasions tonight he interrupted the flow of drink service to ask if we knew where X number was - when the bar team forgets to p...

Monday 7.28.25 / Ariel & Lauren / NPP Bar Blog

Manager Communication: Ariel accidentally grabbed kitchen's lemon juice and not our big boys. So I am bringing down their quart size, and replacing 6 pack tomorrow since this box was opened today and used already.  Gus if you can leave the small 6 pack downstairs tomorrow.  This is probably because I had Stewart remind the kitchen to not take our quart lime juice box from US foods and this was a lemon juice quart size from US foods vs the gallons we get from Baldor. I told Andre.-LB I think having more menus at Trees would be helpful and Ariel suggested mounting a basket for them next to the water station under the Sanders Theater photo would be good so people can grab them.-LB An idea to mitigate food orders for staff, the tip pool conundrum re:runners and Trees Staff food:  Since MOD need to check with the kitchen and head back to tell the employee they can order, could servers and bartenders order from their own terminals?  MODs go around and check in each round,...

Sunday 7/27/25 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:   The lowboy company is coming tomorrow at 11am to fix the lowboys, I reminded Ariel as he will be here.-LB We really need some new walkies. There are many that do not work in some capacity or another at the moment.-LB I think we should have a hard batching ceiling of under 25 on the specials in the POS.  Especially if there is a chance we are losing that special. Would love to discuss this Tuesday.-LB Trees Lounge not having a second CC reader was causing frustration around 3:30 and Carly brought one from Theater 2.-LB I am certainly game to discuss batching limits and protocols - I don't think we need to reinvent the wheel with this - shouldn't be too hard to implement. That said (I will take the L on this one - there was a miscommunication regarding what was running low - a bartender told me accidentally that the Silver Surfer was totally out - so I hopped to and made a single batch just to make sure we didn't run out - but only after I finished ma...

Saturday 07.26.25 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication: Pretty laidback first round, with ticket sales picking up as the day went on.  Both superhero movies continue to sell well, and the FF4 crowd is really digging the drink special. JH     F4 is massive, and Superman is still strong - tonight was a little hectic being down some folks and only having one bar manager for the busiest portion of the evening, but honestly, everything went super smoothly. Jared and Dion really stepped up and helped out the runner team in a big way tonight - thanks, y'all! - IP BAR Staff Observations:  Easygoing morning, with Matthew and Maya opening and then Lydia and Tevon coming in as mids.  Similar to last evening, we definitely prioritized having more bartenders at Trees, as Th1/2 had consistently large crowds.  But we were able to navigate restocks and support for lobby by having Lydia head down there a couple of times during service lulls. JH Well staffed for the evening with a great team tonight. ...

FANTASTIC FOUR FRIDAY! 07.25.2025 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication: Lauren is still sick, so I am sticking around until theater service dies down for the last round. Jenn has gone home for a little break and is going to return later this evening to close the bars.  PSP trickled in a little later than usual, but once they got going it was solidly packed for a good while. Fantastic Four is crushing, as is Superman - so we needed all hands on deck. -IP Third round was very busy across the entire building, with basically all theaters selling out.  Our last movie was at 9:55, but I didn't route the first floor until 11.  By that time, only Th3 had to be rerouted and they were already an hour into service.  Trees also had a pretty great crowd throughout the night, which kept up until a little after ten.  Looks to be a busy weekend ahead. JH BAR Staff Observations: Great to have such a lead heavy team on a night where we were a little short-handed across the building. Had everyone but Tevon up at Trees until arou...

Thursday 07.24.25 Jenn

Manager Communication:  Fantastic Four had a really great opening night, with all three screenings doing really well, with Superman not too far behind.  Trees had a pretty busy crowd throughout the evening, with plenty of folks arriving early to movies, and a fair amount just coming to hang at the bar.   BAR Staff Observations:  Once Jeshua got in, Gabrielle floated on up to Trees and rocked through the second round with Matthew, Natasha, and Tevon.  We were able to sort coverage for restocks in between service pushes, and bar team made it look easy.  Both Gabrielle and Tevon were able to get out of here around 8:30, and then Matthew clocked out once the initial service push for the last round in Th1 was over.  As is to be expected, both Jeshua and Natasha closed each of their bars without issue.  FOH Staff Observations:  Really great work from the servers in the bigger theaters, and shout out to Evan for holding down a pretty bustling...

Wednesday 07.23.2025 Ian/Jenn

Manager Communication: Frozen machines and bubblers serviced - while working around the new steel installation at both tap towers at Trees - they look great! James was a big help to me opening the building as Lauren is out sick today.  - IP The bar mats at Trees are in extremely poor condition - I feel like I heard more were ordered? If they have yet to be ordered, could we make that happen ASAP? - IP  It was a very cocktail heavy night at Trees, which we love to see our bartenders crush.  There was something about the late July evening that had people really hankering for some martinis.  Third round had a bit of a service crunch at Trees, but overall the evening went very well and we had a ton of guests just chilling at Trees. JH BAR Staff Observations: Great work all around.  Tevon got lobby through the beginning of the second round, did some batching, and got out of here.  Jeshua, as is to be expected from our lobby closer superstar, held down lobby for ...

Tuesday 07.22.25 Jenn/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: I put Junglebird behind the bar as the mystery cocktail. -LB The front door was opening and closing itself in Lobby today. I turned it off, then turned off the auto doors breaker for about ten seconds. Then turned it back on, this worked, but only for about 30 minutes, I have told Matthew.-LB Next Tuesday after the manager meeting we will organize the bar storage closet so any other departments with stuff in there can help. -LB A broken bottle of Rittenhouse was rung into spillage.-LB A blessedly chill evening after the crazy Monday night y'all had last night. Kayla came in at 9:00 and we sailed into the end of the evening with ease. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Darius and Patrick have a great eye behind the bar - there were a couple of odds and ends that hadn't been totally updated that Darius flagged, and then Patrick spotted the cracked bottle of Rittenhouse. Greg held down the lobby no problem. - IP Prep List:  Negroni keg. We need to do Rebel. -LB W...

Monday 7.21.25 / Ariel & Lauren / NPP Bar Blog

Manager Communication: Matthew did 2x batch the Superman special. He came in at 10 and started everything. I was in at 11 so by the time I came in, it was too late. For the future, could we schedule the prep shift either after or at the same time as opening MOD comes in to prevent this. I don't mind if that means I have to come in at 10 for Monday. I think it is also better so that the prep bartender can check in with opening MOD before batching. - AB2 * regarding this schedule, Matthew likes to be done early since it is something he is doing extra. I normally make the list, but Ian helped out. If you can coordinate remotely with them if needed, or they can start with the hard copy list.-LB I updated counts of Movie specials on Mobilebytes. - AB2 I stuffed the additional 8 menus that were in the liquor room with updated Tree's menu's and leaving for Lauren to delegate where to put the extras. - AB2 I have been running into the card reader in Tree's (Close to bathroom si...

Sunday 7/20/25 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:  Volo picked up the box we wanted them to take. -LB I think we will want to have frozen coke in two chambers at Trees Lounge. Will coordinate this Wednesday to shift frozens after cleaning. -LB Trees Lounge has the menus with the V for the cheese plate, I gather that was changed due to the rennet after those may have been stuffed, Carly sent me the updated one and I will replace them by tomorrow night and fill the rest of empty menus.-LB BAR Staff Observations:  I staff perked Tevon's chalupas since he was so critical to menu change Friday, in lieu of a token. -LB Smooth night. Team was great. - IP FOH Staff Observations: Thursdae is phenomenal. I am always shocked when I remember she hasn't been here forever - just so on top of it. - IP 86ed / counts on items:  I put the last case of the new chilled red in the walk-in. We have no more backup High Noon seltzers in the walk-in.  Watermelon Sour Cans on a 4 count.   Prep List:  Vio...

Saturday 07.19.25 Jenn/Ian

Manager Communication: Superman continues to chug along, and the team continues to hit the mark. Great work from the team all around today and tonight. - IP Customer Comments: We had a guest whose card was charged the correct amount in our system, but the charge that came up on his bank statement had a 20% additional charge on it. We told him that we had nothing to do with the extra $15 and to check with his card company to see what it might be. Just noting it here in case there is a follow-up. (Guest named Isaiah Aguilar, seat 3105 in 5:10 Smurfs, ticket #D14) - IP BAR Staff Observations: Business levels continue to be very strong. Eddington is picking up and the crowd is definitely drinking. Tevon and Greg share the game ball tonight. Both pulled long shifts and helped to ensure super smooth service. Jeshua is always a lobby hero and tonight was no exception. - IP FOH Staff Observations: Kat and Jeremy were really helpful tonight. - IP Hiring/Training: Michael the new security guard ...

Friday 7/18/2025 Gus/Jenn/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Menu change operations smooth sailing. -LB Our liquor room and bar storage bins arrived, so ready to organize the bar storage closet whenever. I will start packing up non-pertinent liquor room stuff next week. -LB Having the extra person for menu change made all of the difference -GS Everyone was on top of menu change. Good work all around. - IP BAR Staff Observations: Tevon is a legend. He was so helpful with the menu change, having that batch shift. He has a great eye for detail.-LB I second that Tevon is the man. -GS The @'s (Matt, Nat and Pat) were excellent tonight (I'm workshopping the nickname). Very busy theater service was a breeze. Tevon cut out around 7:30, and Gab was charming as all get out in the lobby. Smooth night. - IP FOH Staff Observations:  Everyone was super helpful today. I got to see Bruce and that made my day. -GS Alayna is awesome. Never idle at the pass - always looking for ways to help. - IP Special Events:  ah, Menu Change th...

Thursday 7/17/2025 Gus/Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication: Really good vibes today. Tons of coverage Customer Comments: Trees was a booming tonight. Some pretty fly college kids who weren't 21wanted to hang out. After Bric we saw a pop at the bar. It was a good night BAR Staff Observations: Matthew & Natasha crushed. FOH Staff Observations: Jay crushed it tonight. So did Obi. Hiring/Training: We met with a candidate today Sick Leave/ Call outs: None Special Events: The private screening came up to Trees  Staff Meeting Agenda notes:  Conrad was able to get photos of all the new drinks arriving on the Summer menu :D JH 86ed / counts on items:  Prep List:  Got us ahead on simple syrup for the weekend, and some FWWM and Lemonades. JH R&D comp checks: Over/Short on Banks: Pay Outs:  $250.00 (staff meeting pizza) JH Lost & Found?: Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  US Foods, Baldor is coming tomorrow.-LB CW  Maintenance: Mobilebytes Issues: Filmbot Issues:

Wednesday 7/16/25 Ian/Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication:   Superman keeps crushing the dinner round, and plenty of the smaller theaters filled up, too.  Couple of pops at Trees Lounge as well, but a fairly mellow night without any service hiccups. JH BAR Staff Observations:  Once Jeshua was past the second round Th5 service push, Tevon went upstairs and he, Gabrielle, and Matthew got Trees through the second round.  Matthew stuck around for the 9:00pm Superman in Th1, and then got out of here once it settled down.  Gabrielle and Jeshua closed each bar without issue. JH Prep List:  Orgeat, Guava syrup, Frozen coke, violet, all the new Trees cheaters. -LB/Ian We will need to make Zombie and an Old Fashioned keg tomorrow.  I'll knock out some FWWM tomorrow before we open, once the menu meeting is over. JH Pay Outs:  $150.00 (payroll error)  $19.58 (paper plates for menu meeting) JH Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Sarene, Skurnik, US Foods, Baldor, Union,  Maintenance:...

Tuesday 7/15/25 Gus/Lauren

Manager Communication: For NPP Frozen coke I will be ordering 2.5 gallon bag in boxes, I will be storing them in the walk-in FYI starting tomorrow-LB I ordered large storage bins for the bar storage and liquor room organization project. I also emailed Volo to remove the box of shirts from the bar storage closet.-LB I ordered the slotted shelf for above the new bar prep sink in the liquor room.-LB I organized the new wine in liquor room and chilled red/rose are in walk-in-LB Ian and I will get ahead of Cheaters/prep for menu tomorrow. I printed Trees cheat sheets and laminated them, made labels, they are taped against the wall by bar calendar-LB Customer Comments: Full bar tonight. People seemed like they were having a good time. -GS BAR Staff Observations: Trees crew is a machine for trivia. Always impressed. Maya really controls the floor. Darius & Tevon run that behind the bar.  FOH Staff Observations: We had an issue with the payment terminal for the Trivia iPad. The paymen...

Monday 07.14.25 Jenn/Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: Reminder to tomorrow Lauren, cut the signs off the gate before opening it! Ian is a darling security/greeter in the lobby, that man looks great in black.-LB Customer Comments: A frazzled woman in the lobby restroom was upset that the large (ADA) stall was out of service in the lobby ladies' room. Not much to say here, but perhaps we might consider making a second ADA stall out of the broken one in the middle, so there is one available in case one is out of order?-LB BAR Staff Observations: Very steady and busy night at Trees. Lydia stuck around through the first rush of 9pm Superman.  FOH Staff Observations: Drinks being grabbed faster than a speeding bullet (silver bullet Coors light). Hard work all around.-LB  Nithya needs a reminder to say corner when leaving and entering Trees. I told her this yesterday and she nearly collided with Kyah holding a tray tonight. -LB Hiring/Training: Thank you Gus for getting us such a stellar interim bartender, we kn...

Sunday 7/13/25 Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Natasha noted that on the weekends, if the opening floor manager can turn the frozen machines to slush it would help a lot. Especially in lobby bar. It is so hot down there and it takes a long time.  The ice machine downstairs was off and hadn't made ice this morning. Another humid hot weekend of major ice consumption. I moved the air mover to it and advised the servers in Theater 7 to keep the air towards the machine. -LB  Printed draft labels for menu change and gave the bar team a run down of what is on it's way out so they know when to 86 something.- LB Some water cups mixed in with grey racks from last night, I asked Lead Servers to remind new servers and runners.-LB I think we need more walkies-LB BAR Staff Observations: Smooth sailing today with everyone making sure we have what we need team-wide.  Patrick had a great idea, he forgot to put the guest's # on a ticket, he wanted me to radio the kitchen but I said it was not the right time. So ...

Saturday 07.12.25 Jenn/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication:  Massive shoutout to the film schedule, keeping the Superman films showing at 1 hour 15 minutes apart was the perfect amount of time for staff to reset between service rushes. JH This above is totally TRUE. Thank you. Also again a highlight of the plastic 16 oz cups making service in this building smooth sailing. -LB Downstairs ice machine relies on the fan there, so if you see anyone move it, please move it back to face the ice machine unit.-LB Firing on all cylinders today. -LB The ice machines are doing their late in the day dance of not making ice. Seems like they just need a little restart, hopefully they will pump out ice overnight. We have depleted the ice stock excessively today.-LB Customer Comments: A guest let me know at the end of the night that she found a plastic shard from a container in her burger patty. I obviously apologized and offered to comp the burger, but she insisted it was "all good, [she] just wanted [us] to know." I gave her ...

Friday 07.11.25 Jenn/Ian/Ariel

Manager Communication: Jenn is a real tough customer - was here early doing inventory/frozen machine prep after a dental procedure - mad respect! - IP Gangsta - AB2 Solid busy shift. Superman was rockin' and the team worked well together. BAR Staff Observations: Smooth night tonight. Everyone crushed it. - AB2 Staff Meeting Agenda notes: I added a note in the meeting doc about runners being tipped out on staff food. It adds up by the end of the shift even though staff picks up food from kitchen. Was wondering how we were feeling/if we may consider alternatives... - AB2 Prep List: Tevon banged out the list Lauren made from yesterday, and added in a couple odds and ends we might need for this weekend. - IP We will need to batch Lemonade, a Margarita and Old Fashioned. Kegs connected are pretty full but they have no back up. - AB2 Pay Outs: 5200 - $12 - black pepper for Bloody Mary concentrate - IP Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Received US Foods, To Rise, Skurnik, Union - IP

Thursday 07.10.25 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: Lots of coverage tonight.  Customer Comments: Nothing crazy at Tree's. BAR Staff Observations:  Patrick and Tevon were absolute rockstars during the Great Kitchen Flooding Before Doors , and I could not have asked for a more helpful and adaptable opening bar team today.  Patrick was able to keep eyes on both bars during set up so that Tevon could help us out in kitchen, and both bars were ready for service once we opened.  I got behind the bar to help Tevon with some service tickets for the first Superman screening in Th1, but other than that both bars needed little assistance before closers got in. JH I had Tevon get ahead of some of the batching for tomrorow, he made the Grapefruit cordial. I clocked him out at 7pm and had him clock back in as prep since he spent the last part of his shift completely off the floor. FOH Staff Observations: Obi rules. Prep List: Tomorrow's list is left for Tevon Tonight: 6 FWWM 1 Grapefruit cordial  R...

Wednesday 7/9/25 Lauren/Ian/Jenn

Manager Communication: Lauren and I got the machines cleaned and ready and then did some liquor room tetris in some advanced prep for the construction. Hank's Documentary people came through and Lauren took point - and then enjoyed the show! Jenn got in and jumped right in to get the evening crew up to speed and ready for the night. - IP Trees was absolutely packed from about 7-9:30, with the post-Hanks screening crowd and our neighborhood running group.  Both crowds were lovely and kept Trees busy well through the initial service push for  Super 8 . JH BAR Staff Observations: Matt and Tevon continue to be wonderful openers. Day was pretty relaxed until the Hank's people started coming in. - IP Swung Tevon upstairs around 7, and he, Matthew, and Gabrielle absolutely crushed service at the bar, with lots of new faces and return guests.  Barring a few times where I popped in to do some theater tickets, they held down service handily.  Jeshua did much the same, and held...

Tuesday July 8th, 2025 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: Pretty mellow day overall capped off by a great sold out screening of The Warriors.  - IP  Customer Comments: We had several nasty guests this afternoon in the theaters. Otherwise pretty chill. - IP   BAR Staff Observations: Darius was clutch yet again and made sure to help with the sold out Warriors screening. He's a real trooper. Tevon was great and Greg killed it in the lobby. - IP    Hiring/Training:  We discussed bar teams next steps.-LB Special Events?  The Warriors! Prep List: Will need to make more Can You Dig It? tomorrow. - IP     Pay Outs:  7150 - $40 - kitchen trail  5200 - $72 - Frozen strawberries - IP Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: Tomorrow: Union Sarene Empire (possibly Thursday) I have set up  US Foods/Baldor for tomorrow. Baldor also coming Friday and Saturday.-LB Thursday: Manhattan

Monday / 7.7.25 / Ariel & Lauren / NPP Bar

Manager Communication: Fire alarm guys came in and fixed the lobby beeping - AB2 The Trees drawer kept getting stuck closed. I pulled it out and there was easily $2 in change, plus paper clips, litmus tests all stuck on the side. I did a fairly good job, but keeping the paperclips coming back to the office will help this issue.-LB BAR Staff Observations: Jeshua got a little flustered after his accidental DOH button hit. There was some confusion with some folks at Trees ordering a bunch of food. I will investigate this with him later once it all is over with. Basically, he took their order for food, repeated it back (what he thought it was) and they said yes. They did not correct in the moment. Later Jeshua went down to the kitchen, but I thought he had handled it.  They had still been waiting so we rushed a fish sandwich for them.  I comped them two popcorns and a float in the theater they were in after they had dinner at Trees, I also gave them some passes. They were very un...

Sunday 07.06.2025 Ian/Lauren

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. I worry he would not hear us if we walkie him. -LB Customer Comments: I half-comped a salad for a guest that was generous enough to move so two people could sit together, I didn't note that on the check, by accident. It was i...

Saturday 07.05.25 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: Lots of coverage. Jared was here late, Dion closed.  -GS Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations: Mellow morning, so Matthew and Maya held down the first round without issue.  Gabrielle came in just as the initial Do the Right Thing service push was settling down, and I was able to get Maya out of here once Greg clocked in. JH We had a call out at the bar, team really was awesome and rallied.  FOH Staff Observations:  Really great group of openers on today, Saturday brunch ran like a dream. JH Obi & Alayna are gems Sick Leave/ Call outs: Fran  Prep List: Should be good for tomorrow I made  2 Lemonade 1 ice tea for the bars, 1 for backup Old Fashioned Keg Sitting on tons of Lemonade & Firewalk. Simple is low, but it wasn't low until late so I figured you are good to go into tomorrow.      R&D comp checks: Over/Short on Banks: Pay Outs: Lost & Found?: Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Baldor and M...

Friday 7/4/25 Gus/Lauren/Ariel NPP Bar

Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. I put signs reminding people to not put anything on the top of the machin...

Thursday 07.03 Jenn/Gus

Manager Communication: Smooth sailing through the first round, which rolled right in to a bustling second round.  Trees also had a pretty good crowd at the bar and tables that began to pick up right around six. JH Customer Comments: BAR Staff Observations:  Patrick and Gabrielle both opened each bar without issue, and navigated the first round solo.  The second round kicked off with a couple of busy service pushes, but both bars were able to flow back and forth between guests and the service pass.  I spent more of the second round by the service pass at Trees, and Patrick and Matthew made light work of a full bar and a thirsty Jurassic World crowd. JH FOH Staff Observations: Rebecca Rules Prep List: I made a ton of stuff. Natasha is coming in today to do a batching shift as her plans changed. Pay Outs: Lost & Found?: Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:  Baldor & CW Distributing arrived. JH Maintenance:  Work on the Mezz is done and we were able to hav...

Wednesday 7/2/2025 Ian/Lauren/Jenn

Manager Communication:  Ian and I investigated the Lobby soda stack situation. I think that the syrup on the floor was a combo of the coke that leaked last week not adequately being mopped up with a combo of the water that splashed down from the changing of the filters. Ian got down and scrubbed lots of gross stuff out. I tried to dry it out as much as possible so we have a clean baseline. The Trees Squeegee was down there and a brush with no attached handle was stuffed in the corner, we tossed it. I think now that it is clear and clean it will be easier to tell if there is an active leak. The Diet Coke bag is not leaking so it is not that.   I went back down a few hours later to check since it seemed a little wet, could be condensation from ice well?  I took out all of the boxes. I sprayed all the tubes with windex and nothing stood out as leaking. So if you see moisture just try to determine if it is sugary.  -LB Trees stayed full throughout most of the night ...

Tuesday 7/1/25 Gus/Lauren/Ian

Manager Communication: There seemed to be some soda syrup pooled under lobby bar stack of soda. I think the Diet coke is leaking, I took it out of the box to try and determine if it is the line or the specific soda bag. Keep an eye on it so we can figure it out.-LB Alex moved his new art to the lobby bar and I have hung the Sanders Theater photo. Juan will touch up the paint when he is back next week.-LB  We had a great bar meeting talking out some ideas for menu change-LB BAR Staff Observations: Trivia team is a machine. Darius is a killer opener for this.  Greg was upstairs until a little after 9pm. Lots of food orders coming through.-LB Trivia was Trivia-ing. Team crushed. Lydia got outta here around 9:15 - Greg took over in the lobby with no issue. Darius is also a killer closer for Trivia - always sticks around to help reset the lounge. It's much appreciated. - IP FOH Staff Observations: Ryan did a great job tonight. - IP Special Events? Trivia. - IP Staff Meeting Agend...
