FANTASTIC FOUR FRIDAY! 07.25.2025 Jenn/Ian



Manager Communication:
Lauren is still sick, so I am sticking around until theater service dies down for the last round. Jenn has gone home for a little break and is going to return later this evening to close the bars. 
PSP trickled in a little later than usual, but once they got going it was solidly packed for a good while. Fantastic Four is crushing, as is Superman - so we needed all hands on deck. -IP

Third round was very busy across the entire building, with basically all theaters selling out.  Our last movie was at 9:55, but I didn't route the first floor until 11.  By that time, only Th3 had to be rerouted and they were already an hour into service.  Trees also had a pretty great crowd throughout the night, which kept up until a little after ten.  Looks to be a busy weekend ahead. JH

BAR Staff Observations:
Great to have such a lead heavy team on a night where we were a little short-handed across the building. Had everyone but Tevon up at Trees until around 7:45, because PSP was cranking and many of the theaters were sold out or close to all night. -IP

I had Matthew help Gabrielle with some third round service down at lobby, but she held down lobby without issue for the rest of the time solo.  Natasha was at the service pass for the majority of the evening, with Matthew and Patrick switching from guest-facing to back up as needed for service.  Really great stocking and communication, so there were never any hiccups in service at either bar during a very busy evening. JH

Sick Leave/ Call outs:
Lauren -IP

Prep List:
Tevon crushed the Friday batch. Should be all set for a spell, but the numbers for Fantastic Four are very strong - gonna have to keep eyes on levels. - IP

Looking good heading into tomorrow morning, and the first round is pretty mellow so I will be sure to make sure the walk in is restocked once both bars are opened. JH

Ordering/Receiving/Shipping:
Received US Foods, To Rise, Baldor - IP

Maintenance: 
The rail under the taps at the far end of Trees is lifting away from the bar.  It looks like the glue is weakening so the rail is beginning to slant and rise up from the bar. JH

Mobilebytes Issues:
I forgot to put a count in on the new FF4 special before we opened.  I will check sales numbers from tonight and update it on Mobilebytes in the morning. JH

Manager Communication: Wyatt and I opened up the building in preparation for a very busy "Do the Right Thing" - otherwise it was a very quiet.  We don't get the FOH blog, so Ian didn't know about the grease trap back up, which caused some confusion this morning. Vlad said he would get to the drain in theaters 1/2 another day since today was a literal washout.-LB I put signs up to tell people to not put bags on the top of the ice machines, not considering the language barrier of Markenson etc.  I went through it with him after he replaced the boxes because he is so thorough, I believe he understood what I meant. -LB Timothy needs to get a run down about wearing an ear piece, he left his walkie on the water station, didn't even realize it. Friday 7/4/25 Gus/Lauren/Ariel NPP Bar

Manager Communication: Not much really happened tonight. Slow night in Tree's. - AB2 BAR Staff Observations: Gabrielle took the early cut since Tevon was willing to stick it out. Smooth sailing with no major kids films popping off.-LB I got Tevon out of here shortly after my arrival around 5. I then got Patrick out around 6:45. I was able to get Matthew out after the rush settled and he was out at 9:30. Jeshua closed Lobby and Fran closed in Tree's. - AB2 Special Events?  Team America World Police. Prep List: Natasha cranked out a big batch list: double Jurassic, Tang simple, infinity, lemonades, Moneypenny keg, bloody, she couldn't make bloody concentrate since kitchen didn't get garlic delivered-LB I batched a - Margarita - AB2 Ordering/Receiving/Shipping: US Foods, Baldor coming tomorrow.  Manhattan arriving tomorrow Maintenance: I put the faces back on both ice machines they both seem happy. Manager Communication: GATE UPDATE: The gate was weird coming down today. It opened yesterday without issue. But it kind of needs to be put up then down. It is a few inches from the ground, safe enough for us, but definitely something to keep an eye on. -LB Opened the building with Wyatt - No Budge was sold out but chill, same with the first couple screenings of Minecraft. Other than one absolutely dreadful guest (more on that below), everything was super smooth. - IP Ordered Green goblin since Theater 2 was having a drain back up. -LB Having Trees open to the public during this party is fine, however I think we need to avail the Trees cocktails to those customers but have to mitigate those being ordered when it is this busy. -LB I tested the Brix for To infinity. It is 15. I think the issue is the coconut milk (oil) and other ingredients have different freezing temps. I think if we push the mix every few hours it will be fine, but happy to adjust recipe if needed. -LB Ordered 2 cases ...
